  • :embarasse Hi could I join again please? I lost the plot completely after my holiday and put 6lbs back on so I would like to loose 8 lb to get me down to my next stone.

I have my head back in the right place now so I'm on it :)

    Morning everyone :)

Congrats to all those with a pound off, it's all going in the right direction :T Major well done to mildredd for being a target member and to b_e_g for an amazing loss and another shiney :j

My WI tonight. Too much snacking (again :o) this week but have been walking. Not sure I've been good enough for the 1.5lb I want, or indeed anything, but we will see.

Good to hear you've met a nice man Meg! Sounds like a nice date. My brother met a few weirdos online but is now married to a lovely woman he met on match.

Hi everyone , hope you dont mind me popping in. I've started back on SL and have 59lbs to loose which seems daunting but I will tackle it 1lb at a time. I've not joined a group just yet I want to see if I can do it myself at home for a bit but need a couple of pointers on if what i've eaten today was ok?

X2 Weekabix with skimmed milk and a large banana.

Lettuce, cucumber, a few cherry totmatos and ham.

Bubble and squeek, 4 quorn saussages, baked beans, 1 fried egg and a little bit of left over ham

    X1 Apple

I'm abit concerned that I didnt have enough veg for dinner?

Welcome thrifty :) I'd agree with you that there's not much veg there, although there will have been some cabbage in the bubble&squeak?

Are you full enough on that food, not needing snacks as well?

It's also pretty low syn, and you should try and have at least 5 a day. Whether you've done that I guess depends on what you fried your egg in, whether all the fat was off the ham, and which quorn sausages you had (standard ones are 1 syn I think).

Lousy, lousy night :( stomach churning then up at 4am. When I did sleep, dreamt son came home early with his face all cut. Horrid anxiety dream, hate them .
Won't see my boy til this evening either, hubby will see him when he comes home so hopefully I can ring him during morning break to set my mind at ease. Hubby can't see why I get this anxious, Mum hormones I expect :o. Wish me luck in staying awake today :D.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Morning all and well done to all with losses this week - I'm resisting jumping on the scales before my 1st WI in on Thursday, hopefully i'll be surprised with a loss too :D

    Today's menu will be:

B - shreddies (heb) with milk (hea) & banana
L - HM leek and potato soup
T - Bought some SW meals last week to try out so trying the sweet potato curry tonight with cous cous & veggies
Syns - tassimo latte and the last of my jelly sweets

Maman - yep I do my mince in SC, potatoes and extra veg in a pan separately, had a bad soggy potatoes experience once when it all went in SC so not done that since :o

Didn't end up eating any of it as I didn't feel hungry but the hubby polished off 2 helpings. Ended the day on 6 syns after an alpen bar in place of tea

    Have a good day everyone
    :)
