I weighed in a day early, as I'm going out tomorrow night, was pleased to find I'd lost 3.5 pounds. I just need to lose half a pound next week to get my 3 stone award, fingers crossed.

Jocko - one Chinese takeaway shouldn't do that much damage if you had a good week otherwise. It will bring the nasty commenters round if you STS or gain a little, they'll realise you are human after all.

    LL :)

Crackers, duck, ribs - the only thing I kept to was boiled rice, I think when you do some SP days though, your store of carbs in your muscle reduces and then you put it all back on, hence a lot of the weight loss is removing carb from your muscles. It would explain a lot, why a few people have come off an SP week and gained and why people do so well on it.

Heading to my new class tonight, nervous !

Had an strange weekend - Friday was good, I enjoyed watching crufts and had a real giggle at some of the things that were being said about the dogs, made me feel better about being a woman!

Friday & Saturday on it and behaving, yesterday threw in the towel again after an annoying morning and the mood has plummeted again!

Quite truthfully right now I could just walk away I seem to be on one day and off the next and the slightest wee thing seems to send me off on one into fed up land where I just don't care and want to eat everything!

I had to talk myself out of going to McDonalds at lunchtime! When I feel harassed and stressed like this all I want to do is eat and lie about.

    No idea ...........what I'm doing

Good to hear you're getting in the swing of things candy. All I'd say about the portion control is that you can eat as much as you like but it has to be in proportion. So for every helping of, say, pasta and meat you must have at least a third of your plate with Speed food. Looking at your menu today you've only had cauli, broccoli and any Speed fruit you snack on plus maybe some onion in the hash. It would take a lot of fruit to make a third of your food for the day. Personally I think veggies are better because of the sugar content of fruit but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for your reply - I'm definitely thinking a lot more about what goes onto my plate, am mentally dividing the plate into thirds when I'm dishing up now where before veggies didn't even get a look in.

Will definitely try the batch cooking. There's times when we both work late so grabbing something from the freezer and shoving it in the microwave is definitely appealing.

    Today's food is
B - overnight oats with mullerlite
L - salad with chicken and cous cous
T - cottage pie (which is bubbling away in my slow cooker making me hungry with yummy smells) with some form of potatoes and green veg

Only 1 syn so far - from sweets made with NAS jelly and easiyo yoghurt - not quite the haribos I was craving but yummy all the same
