Yes, there's definitely fluctuation from day to day and across a day. It can go either way, it's just that we don't normally notice other than perhaps feeling a bit bloated from time to time.

I think what really matters is that you control as many variables as possible. So stick to about the same time each week, using the same scales and in very similar clothes. If you had breakfast before this morning's WI then do that every week too. Then you'll be comparing like with like.

I know it's tempting but if you can just weigh once a week then you won't know about any fluctuations.;)

    Thanks maman,
I am sticking to the same scales & same weigh in time every week, Sunday, after breakfast like you suggest, good news.

Now I cannot wait until next weeks weigh-in, knowing what I know about hidden weight loss, weight is falling off me, my body's losing towards it's ideal BMI goal. (at least that's what I tell myself each day :) ).

The body is so amazing, how it can recover if we give it half the chance.
I do know I am starting to have more energy, and some of my ailments have decreased in severity with the new eating plan.

    BOOKS
Also I looked at my new SW books:
SW extra easy all in one (223 pages).
SW extra easy express (228 pages).
Really amazing books, easy to follow, great inspiration, modern feel, great images.

    FOOD
Also found out about "Soba Noodles" from "a taste of Asia" book.
Now I can have Gluten Free, egg type noodles made from Buckwheat!

My Mum tried the "Groovy Food Company Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Spray", I got positive feedback, so I will be trying mine soon.
My Mum didn't get the burning smell, so I am wondering if people need to turn down the heat to get best cooking results?
No after taste too, positive :)

If he's young enough to pay bus fare then go for it!!:D:rotfl:

Maybe he's old enough and gets free bus fares as a pensioner!

Had an awful weekend, was forced to go to the inlaws, and basically we had a chinese takeaway. So not done very well, unless I can get it going today, weigh in tomorrow will be a waste of time. I might call for a holiday and save myself a fiver. Either that or try and get a STS and try and do better next week.

Only just, each 28g bunny is 8 syns but I doubt the bunnies will have caught up with you by WI tomorrow.

Thanks Maman, not as bad as I thought then, so should be ok.

Meg - good luck, I hope you like each other's company.

Jock - I think you should go anyway, get you back on track. A holiday week is not the answer

    Morning :)

Meg - good luck with the lunch date.

Jocko - one Chinese takeaway shouldn't do that much damage if you had a good week otherwise. It will bring the nasty commenters round if you STS or gain a little, they'll realise you are human after all.

Enjoyed Poldark last night and shed tears at Call the Midwife as usual. I like the way the storyline recalls historical details like thalidomide.

Mildredd - I must look out for that book, thanks for the tip. Are you planning to have another baby?

Not sure what we're going to do or eat today, but shopping will be involved as we're out of fresh veg and milk. We've got salmon and chicken in the freezer and some leftovers in the fridge but I don't fancy any of them!

Have a good week - we're all going to have great results, I can tell!

I've got a fairly easy day today, as made corned beef hash last week. Just needed to take it out of freezer. Like you lois I've got LOs in fridge that I don't fancy but maybe I'll be hungrier in a couple of hours.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: cold beef, fried veg and beetroot
D: corned beef hash with cauli and broccoli
Syns: scrape of spread, corned beef

smedley, not sure which books you mean. The page numbers don't correspond to my book. Are they some you bought?

jock, not sure which was worse the in-laws or the Chinese!:rotfl:

Met him on line, have messaged and had phone calls, I like him, he makes me laugh and dosent BS, not like some of nutters I have met on the site. First face to face tomorrow,

When do men get a bus pass ? I thought it was 65 for a man hes 63 this year so 7 years younger than me . hey does that mean he can be a Toyboy :rotfl:

No he probably would have got his bus pass last year as men get it at the same age as a woman would born in the same year. I'm 63 this year and I got my bus pass last year.

Enjoy your lunch date, hope everything goes well.

Been away all weekend and definitely well over syns so will need to cut back from today until Wednesday evening. Haven't totalled the syns yet to see how many I've got left but will need to check that.

Went to an all you can eat buffet for lunch on Saturday but was fairly restrained when it came to desserts - just had some icecream and fruit salad (and a tiny bit of creme caramel!).

    EE again today:

B - porridge, Mullerlight banana & custard, banana
L - Ham, egg & fried up veg leftover from yesterday
D - HM sweet & sour pork with rice. I've got 2 sweet & sour recipes but not sure which one I'll do as need to check what I've got in stock! Will hopefully be able to do the syn free one.

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - porridge

Syns - 12 Magic Stars 3.5; not sure what else but possibly 2 syns for sweet & sour
