It was a little warmer than 11 degrees at the time of writing, probably about 15, but once we'd had brunch the sun came out and it was lovely and warm, at least 20 degrees.

We decided against the shopping centre and had a lovely walk near the sea instead, ending up at the marina where there are several restaurants and a coffee bar, which were all really busy with Spanish families out enjoying their weekend.
The SW chips are now in the Actifry and smelling nice, and I'm about to reheat the soup. Looking forward to a quiet evening in with Call the Midwife and Poldark. I used to love that when it was on before, I had a mini crush on Robin Ellis, the actor that played Poldark. I'm probably showing my age now, anyone else remember it?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

So shall I put you down for 1.3lb loss? i'm sorry the chart doesn't work in kg as I've got it set up for lbs.. can you give me your losses in lbs to put on the chart for future weeks please.:)
I see how it works now, I was really unsure about pounds & stones converting, we measured/weighed in metric at school and in my career. I now have the correct conversion tool.
http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/conversions/common/kg-to-stones-pounds.php
Will post in lbs in future.
Thanks
Well done to all the losersSW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -

Welcome back hostie, course you can join the challenge... just let me know how much you want to lose by the 3rd May and i'll add you on.
Thank you! I would like to go for 1 lb per week so 10 lb by 3rd May.
My current weight is 12. 5 1/2 lb
I lost a stone last year but it has crept back up towards my original weight of 12.12 so I need to take action now.
I went to a friend's house tonight. About ten of us go and take nibbles and wine, then we watch a film projected onto his wall. I took normal sausages for everyone else and low fat Quorn sausages for the vegetarians and me as they are syn free. I also took mini millionaire shortcakes which was a mistake as I ate about six of them
Someone else brought brownies and I ate two of them too
Not a good start. I'm going to try to be good during the week. At least I have cut down on my alcohol.
For the girls looking for something to take to group, syn free hummus is easy to make, just blitz chick peas lemon juice and garlic and voila you have hummus. You can also use butter beans.24.06.14 12 st 12 lb (waist 45" at fattest part of belly)

DH and I had borrowed a boxed set of the original Poldark and we were like addicts, couldn't get enough of it. Then I read all the books that came after. I wasn't sure how I'd take to the remake but so far, so good. How may syns in a malteaster bunny, please? (I ate two today.....) but haven;t had any other syns, so am hoping it is within limits.

Hi all,
Just wondering what time of day is the best for a weigh-in.
A strange thing happened today after my weigh in this morning, I was testing some scales for my Mum this evening, and it seemed that I had lost another 0.6 kg since this morning, I re-weighed myself later on my scales, and it was true.
Has anyone ever encountered such a dramatic change in weight from morning to evening?
Why does this happen?
Don't worry, I am not writing the increased weight loss down, I am sticking to my original weigh-in weight.

Yes, there's definitely fluctuation from day to day and across a day. It can go either way, it's just that we don't normally notice other than perhaps feeling a bit bloated from time to time.
I think what really matters is that you control as many variables as possible. So stick to about the same time each week, using the same scales and in very similar clothes. If you had breakfast before this morning's WI then do that every week too. Then you'll be comparing like with like.
I know it's tempting but if you can just weigh once a week then you won't know about any fluctuations.;)0
