Hello, can I re-join this thread? I was on it for a while then went to group last year with friends and managed to lose a stone. After they hit target they stopped going and it wasn't the same for me to go.
I'm still no-where near target and have started putting weight back on. Last week I put on 6 lb !!!!
The consultant isn't flexible when you text her on the day of the meeting to cancel (I think strictly you are meant to give 24 hrs notice but in my previous group the consultant was flexible) so I don't think I want to go to group. I'll just end up having to pay a fortune for lots of missed classes.

Re the quiche - there is a recipe that uses parsnips for the base and apparently they come out quite crispy. I could try to dig out the recipe. Come to think of it, I have parsnips in the fridge, could try it myself.

It's been quite quiet on here this weekend - I can actually keep up!

Got my walk in yesterday and then spent most of the rest of the day in the hell of sorting out baby clothes. Been through nearly all the boxes in the attic and sorted out a load of stuff to go to charity (not mse like ginvt but most of it doesn't have any resale value!). Also sorted 2 bags to go to a friend who is due a little boy next month.

It took me hours, still got to swap over lots of the kids clothes for the next size up - doesn't help they are both a bit between sizes. All that to finish today but at least there is nowhere near as many boxes of old clothes in the loft (didn't throw anything away from my daughter unless she totally wrecked it!).

SW roast dinner today, got to cook that later and doubt we will need a lot of tea so probably beans on toast. Will attempt to snack on fruit rather than the chocolate and crisps that have made their way into my gob the last couple of days :o

SHALA, I am reporting a loss of 1lb sorry it's not in red. The needle hovered a bit lower almost 2lb but we will still say 1.

Hope everyone has had losses to, if not, hugs to you all.
We will all try and stay on the straight and narrow and have good and better results. Remember 1lb is better off than on. Good luck to you all for the rest of the week. :T:T

    Morning all :)

Well done Smedley and Wizkid, commiserations 32b3in2013.

I'd have been here earlier but I've spent nearly an hour trying to figure out how to copy the picture above using the iPad, finally gave up and did it in seconds on the laptop. I'm sure it should be easier on the iPad, I'm obviously missing a trick.

Had a low-syn day yesterday to make up for overdoing it on Friday - just one small glass of wine and a few syns for butter. Today we're having a SW fry-up for brunch including tomatoes and mushrooms, and steak and SW chips for dinner with onion rings, preceded by celery soup to make up for the lack of speed food.

Its a bit cool and cloudy here today so a trip to the shopping centre might be on the cards. I don't know what DH wants for his birthday so we'll go in the sports shop as no doubt he will be happy with something golf related!

Have a good day, hope you're all enjoying some spring weather.

Well done! I think that means you've joined the 1.5lbs club that's so popular this week.:T

And what exactly does cool translate as where you are? It's 11 degrees here and a very pleasant change from the past few months.:)
