ahhh, good luck to your Son for next week TakeItEazy. Hope it all works out well for him.

I have spent the last few hours reading the minimins thread. I read the last 10 pages and the first few. They are all really excited aren't they. I used to be a WW leader and I remember when I started my training. Its all really good until the deliveries start arriving to take over your house  I did it for 10 years before I had to give it up due to my full time job. I still have the scales though :D

It gets more gritty about 25 % in when they start to jack it in and realise what they've let themselves in for and they get their eyes opened lol :rotfl:

Maman - I thought I'd avoided doing a sw group with the bfs family however his mum collared me last night and I've agreed to doing it - so next week I'll be going shopping to get bits and bobs for it :/ I guess this will be a good thing for me deciding whether to pursue the sw consultant thing at some point x

We have a few people at group that I'd really love to plan for. I've tried to make suggestions but they don't really 'get' SW and seem to eat either the wrong HEBs (brown bread or cereal not on the list) or deprive themselves of syns or in some cases just make excuses. There's one lovely lady in her 80s who I'm convinced has only lost because she's eating less and healthier than before. She lives a couple of streets away from me and I've often threatened to do meals on wheels for her!:rotfl:I'd love to sit down and plan meals with a group of people like that mildredd so you could show them how to adapt the meals they like and prioritise their syns.

After my loss yesterday I went out and had a totally off plan Indian. I'm a Pisces too lois and the next week really isn't going to be good SW wise. Tonight will be a pub meal before the theatre. So for the next week or so I'll only post the good bits I'm doing and after that I'm sure there'll lots of detail about how I'm reining it back in!!

Today I've had a SW breakfast (baked beans & toast), if I feel hungry I'll have soup for lunch.

Ah well that didn’t go to plan – but not as awful as it might have been! I had to go out and get some ribbon and also I did some food shopping, so I was out over lunch time. I resisted all my desires to go and get lunch out and waited until I came home; had forgotten to defrost prawns, so didn’t bother with JP and instead had a (very tasty) roll (6 syns) with butter (3 syns) and cornedbeef. :(

Good for you, SallyC, Lois and shala.

Good luck to your son, TIE.

Oh, Daisy, you’re having a tough time. I hope the exams go well.

    You’re an MSE superstar, ginvzt.

    See you all later!

Reporting yesterdays 1lb loss finally taking me in to the next stone bracket!

    Yesterday went as expected:
Off plan breakfast of croissants and a surprise Starbucks Frapechino (sp?) from a colleague
Lunch was a boiled egg (wasn't hungry after a croissants and eth cold drink even hours later)
Tea was chicken topped with tomato puree and extra lean bacon plus cheese from my HeA

But I had to go pick up wonder bairn early with a roaring temp and spent most of the night up with her; had a bowl of cornflakes around 4am, then rushed to get her sorted as my dad said he'd have her whilst bf is at work (they live just round the corner from their work) so thought I'd start the day again and have ready brek for breakfast at work in place of my HeB but then it went cold and yucky before I could finish it, I forgot my own lunch so bf's mum brought me in a few bits; una sandwich on a wholemeal roll (60g I know as it was from my house haha) mni party rings (6) yogurt (2.5) boiled egg, 2 slices of malt loaf (from a sliced one, no idea of syns) and then she and bf announced they are off to our caravan/the coast for the afternoon to fill it up and because she wants to go pick up a new sewing machine (her 4th) and she can't wait until Sunday to find out if its cheaper at the expo she's going to at the NEC! So no idea how tea is going to shape up now :/

oh well, mark the day off and start a fresh tomorrow :)

At least I have managed to get my entire to do list cleared today at work and have been up and down the stairs so many times I've lost count!

The weekend is planned like this:
    Saturday:
Breakfast at my parents - I'm thinking bacon (extra lean), egg and beans ;)
    lunch: fruit to snack on
Tea: homemade pizza as that's this week's family/date night

    Sunday:
We are going to the baby show in Manchester so I'm expecting fruit on the go for breakfast
something whilst out for lunch: this will probably use up the day's syns
tea will be something light like an omelette if anything or salad

Next week is roughly planned in my head - lots on at work so no time to snack etc.
    Lunches:
Monday: will have a big breakfast then skate through on fruit
    Tuesday: homemade soup
Wednesday: jacket potato with bean and cheese plus salad
    Thursday: lush salad
Friday: lunch time event at work so a late one; probably a salad again :)

Walking a bit better today, just constant discomfort and aching leg.
Been to cemetery today as was Dads Birthday, laid some flowers [purple of course :D].
Missed out on a good day at school where all the staff dressed as Wheres Wally, so dressed in my Wally kit and took a selfie to say I was with them in spirit :rotfl:

    Food today TIEs EESP
    B - RB, honey [2], prunes, coffee
    S - crisps [6.5]
    L - salad, beetroot, ham, mayo [1]
    S - prunes
T - chicken breast, plum toms, beans, pickled onions, bbq sauce [1]
S - frozen bbs blitzed with yogurt
    HEs - A milk B RB, Prunes
    Syns - 10.5

Will be blitzing the frozen bbs in the nutribullet so not counting any syns as only having a handful and will still be eating all the fruit. So a frozen ice cream type dessert :D.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Hi again

32b3in2013 - I'd love to know the reason for your nickname! What made you decide to do SW having been a WW consultant?

    LL :)

Hiya, sorry to snip your post, I can't seem to get to the bottom of a post to respond on my iPad unless I delete most of it :(

My user name is because I decided at the beginning of 2013 that I would pay off all my debts. Paid of £10.5k in the year. And I paid off my mums debts that year too. I joined here specifically to post on the debt free boards and paying off the debts freed my mind :D

I have since got a car loan, which I am paying off with eBay sales :D. I got the loan in September last year and I have already paid off 18 months worth of it. Only another 6 months to go with a bit of luck :D

Re SW V WW. I got bored with WW. I might go back to it at some time, but SW suits me better at the moment. What I am absolutely sure of is that I can't lose weight on my own. There is no reason why I couldn't follow SW and weigh myself on the ww scales, but I need the commitment of being weighed by someone else every week :D

    Sorry for the long post!!

Today has been a better day today SW wise. I had an ommlette and toast for breakfast, and a SW meatball ready meal for dinner. Lunch still needs work, I had a sandwich from tesco so am over my syns again, weigh in day tomorrow and it's going to take a BIG wee in the morning to save me lol
