Hello everyone.....
Can I join your thread?
I'm currently sitting at 12 stone. Deeply unhappy, none of my clothes fit because ive put weight on and whilst I could exercise I'm [Strike]just plain lazy[/Strike] finding excuses not to
Me and my OH broke up so finding someone to have my children so I can go running is difficult as I don't have family support.
I have a spine problem so its pointless me joining a gym because they wont let me use half the stuff but I did enjoy running which I think ill take up again.
I also have a thyroid problem and ballooned up to 14 stone (now this isn't an excuse!) I had it removed in 2011 (the thyroid, not the problem!) and my weight settled again at 11 stone. the "extra" stone I've gained is through eating too much and not moving enough
Ideally I'd like to be 10 stone 11 which is what my doctor says to aim for.... so here goes...0 -
My consultant said the rhubarb bars were only a limited edition.. Shame as quite like them, must pick up a few boxes tonight if any left
Thanks and good Luck with the new group lantanna x Which SW forum is that thread on over on minimins? Will be interesting to read.
Hope you get that sorted for your dad shala, sounds a heck of a bill
Welcome to the thread newcomers.. You'll get lots of support on here!0 -
Eating the raw beetroot was like eating a crunchy apple. I’m not fond of apples either
Oh I love beetroot out of a jar, lantana! I have that often. I get an organic veg box every other week and the last 3 times there’s been a big bag of beetroot, hence the need to be more imaginative/adventurous. That said, DD made beetroot hummous last week – she’s much more adventurous than me, lol
I agree, b_e_g, numbers on clothes can be very important/motivating/reassuring/comforting/confidence boosting.
Get well soon, lush.
Pull up a chair, Mimi Arc en Ciel.
I didn’t have any more syns last night – supper was that old favourite of mine, grapes and my hexa 3 mini babybel lights, so 4 syns saved.Let’s hope today goes well for us all.

Been to WI this morning and I lost 2.5lbs!:j I've just checked back in my diary and it's three weeks since I really went mad at wedding so obviously I've lost anything I gained and then some. I'm now half a pound out of range. Ideal as It's my birthday next week. DH is already hoping for a pie. he tells me it's National Pie Week but I'm convinced he made that up!:rotfl:jockosjungle wrote: »We've also been told that the Rhubarb and Custard bar is no more, not sure if it is true, but you might want to stock up.
As ever our consultant didn't know what was going on. She just knew she'd been trying to order them and couldn't. No idea whether they were discontinued or maybe a supply problem. Opinions mixed on whether they'd be missed. I don't eat them personally. I buy the occasional Cherry Alpen Light but as I generally have my HEB as toast or recently Finn Crisps I don't want extra syns around.I'm pleased to report I'm back on it & behaving. Had a little chat with myself last night and feel determined this morning.
Delighted to hear that!!:T
I'm not sure what's happening today. I've had my usual pre WI breakfast (HEB Puffed Wheat), may have a JP or soup for lunch and then dinner yet to be decided. I'm going to make a corned beef hash but might go out for a meal in which case I'll freeze it for another day.
ETA: Apparently SW/Iceland are delighted with the response to the ready meal launch. So much so that in our local area there is very little in stock. The beef casserole one is the most popular apparently but no one was raving about them. People were asking if SW would extend the voucher date as they haven't been able to use them. She said she's find out but I'd have thought it unlikely. I'm wondering if they will be discounted in future otherwise they'll never compete with WW meals. I know they're smaller but it's easy to get them for £1.0 -
Has anyone ever tried the following Fry Light alternative cooking spray which is sold at Tesco?
What do you think?
There are supposed to be health benefits using coconut oil.
The Groovy Food Company Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Spray (190ml) - £2.50
I first saw the product which gives a quick review on the Fopperholics website

Hi again everyone and thanks for your replies about 10 pages ago
My work shifts can be a bit erratic so finding a class I can go to is proving difficult so I've bit the bullet and joined SW online. I've been sort of half doing the plan since Sunday just getting used to the frees and extras etc but today is Day 1 proper - although Thursday is a bit of a weird day to start anything new but if I wait til Monday I'll only pig out so figured I would start while I'm in the mindset. So if you have room for a not-so-little one I'd love to join you all.
I'm 14 stone at the mo, hoping to lose 3 stone overall however long that takes me. I feel really positive about this and really hoping it works for me
Would love to join in your challenges too once I've settled down into food optimising0
