My manager told me to go to the Dr as a few colleagues had mentioned I seemed off/not myself...I went and I have one cracking sinus infection :( I was given a double dose of doxycycline today which has left me feeling rotten and then a single dose a day for the next 6 days. All I've had tonight is 2 mini party rings, 2 hard boiled eggs and a chicken dipper :/ not great

Wonder bairn has then taken over 2hrs to settle to sleep so all I've got sorted is bf's food for tomorrow and her stuff. Luckily I sorted my work clothes earlier and boiled two extra eggs. Breakfast was always going to be off plan tomorrow as I'm hosting an event solo so have to leave even earlier than usual and then I'll be back on from lunch- not sure what I'll manage...maybe just a tin of sketti or maybe a pasta and sauce (by ragu I think, about 3syns) tea will be chicken and bacon with two potato waffles (5 syn) and extra veg. Not taking my antibiotics until I'm home incase they send me lousy again I'll manage on pain meds through the day

    Eta:
Will weigh in in the morning; I'm expecting a STS or tiny loss. I'll be happy considering I'm a bit constipated and I'm dosed up on pain meds!

Good luck telling your consultant Lantanna. I had to remind my last consultant 3 times before she stopped texting me.

I don't have that problem with my current consultant though. She doesn't do communication. In fact, I don't even know what her name is. There is no info in my book at all. I could find out her name from the find a group bit of the SW website I suppose.

That's the general standard of the consultants in the area I live in unfortunately.

Not much moving around today as sciatica is very painful.

TIE I had sciatica and couldn't walk at all it was all down my right side, I couldn't stand without my right foot starting to go numb and pins and needles up the leg and into my hip. Then I went on my sons stationary bike. Within the week it had gone. Now I go on it for 10 mins every day. I can't do more than that. The doctor says I have to keep it up as it has done me good. Hope you can get rid of yours as it's very very painful :)

That's good penny. It would have been all too easy to comfort eat so at least you're keeping in touch. All you can do is your best. I hope you feel much better, very soon.

Lush, I remember the first time I had sinus infection. My jaw ached so much I didn't know whether to go to the doctor or the dentist! Hopefully the antibiotic will kick in very soon. Good luck with your presentation.

I'll just go tomorrow and then do my best for a couple of weeks then maybe try and be saintly leading up to Easter.:D

Ours is really good in the sense she never texts me, however if you did ring her for any reason or text her she would answer. I really don't need to be badgered, I quite like the facebook group she has, but she doesn't really contribute all that much herself.

She is dead nice and her name is Serena, she's been doing it years and I guess she's pretty old school, really supportive and cares far more about her class than she does about selling stuff.

We've also been told that the Rhubarb and Custard bar is no more, not sure if it is true, but you might want to stock up.

Mich hope you are ok, just keep hanging on in there
Talking of beetroot I sat and ate half a jar of it last night
Thank you BEG you are right we can and will do this!! I’ve come too far to go all the way back. Well done on the smaller sizes!! :T
32b3in2013 – Theres a lot of very poor consultants out there and there is a lot of very good ones. If anyone is ever really really bored some time read the new consultants thread on minimins it really opened up my eyes to the whole thing and why they do the things that they do!!
Never tried the rhubarb & custard bars jocks so I'll not know what I've missed! They lasted long didn't they lol:rotfl:
I'm pleased to report I'm back on it & behaving. Had a little chat with myself last night and feel determined this morning. Just got to keep it going and not get distracted or tempted now til I'm fully back on board.
Just had an amazing breakfast - Fat free greek yogurt, oats, pomegranate, blueberries, drizzle of honey and threw in a spoonful of peanut hottie . Amazing !
