I was worried I would be called to the front and told it was me and I had to talk about my SW experience.
Turns out there is a woman who never stays to group who has lost 5 stone ish.
But she doesn't stay to group so guess who got called to the front to talk about their SW experience...
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I just had to stand there and received sash, certificate and SW mug oh and the worst bit ........ had to have my pic taken (hate it) but thankfully I didn't have to say anything (phew). Our consultant knows I hate attention and fuss and was just pleased I went and stood out front :rotfl:Evening a day earlier than normal but away from home so can't go to my Wednesday group. Reporting in with loss of 1.5lb for the week
Well done salduck and all other losers :T
Thanks for charts shala. Well done everyone for the brilliant losses. :T

Hubby roasts beetroot by washing, top n tail then wrap in tinfoil pouch and bung in oven. Suppose technically it's steaming but it's easier to get the skin off. Just bung in cold water and rub the skin off.
Eating like apple, use fork if you don't want red fingers
Roasting loose just welds the skin on. You can eat the skin but they taste better without imo.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Lots of losses rolling in already. Seems 1.5lbs is a popular figure!:T
I've been eating beetroot tonight, straight from the fridge and into my mouth! I got some from Aldi too tie. I like it with JP and cottage cheese. I have been known to boil my own but these days I just buy the vacuum packs, it's sweeter than pickled so I prefer it from choice.
b-e-g, I've never seen all the varieties of Finn crisp but they are listed on the site. I'm sure Sainsbury's only had Original.0 -
Morning all
Retiredlady - feel free to off load any time. SW obviously isn't working for you at the moment, maybe alternating with carb free for a few days at a time would do the trick. Going carb free full time may be too much and set off the cravings as soon as you stop.
Well done to all the losers so far, have a good day everyone.
LL:)
That's a good idea LL, I think I'll try that! I'll start this week with 4 days of SW then 3 of lowcarb.
In the end I had a 1 lb gain yesterday. When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Oh that is so unfair having to do an on the spot talk about yourself and your weight loss which I personally would hate and not even get the plaudit for it.
Big well done from us anyway:T
Well done meg and sallycinnamon for being SOTW. Congratulations to everyone who hit their target last month.0 -
Morning all
Well done to meg and sallycinnamon on SOTW, and to everyone who contributed to that 20stone loss which is brilliant:j Thanks also to Shala for being the keeper of the records!
Congrats on your losses maisie, lauri, salduck and minihauk :T Do seem to be lots of 1.5lb losses so far, but it's a good number! I said before if I get 1.5 a week I hit target by the end of April so I'm really quite pleased with my loss.
I'm making talking out to be worse than it was, it was me and a lovely chap who's lost just over 3 stone, plus I had to take the baby up with me cos he didn't want to stay with some of his usual cuddlees so I had distraction too!
Had to explain yet again that I was not losing my baby weight, but my pre-baby weight because I am some kind of freak of nature that didn't put extra on either pregnancy. Had plenty going spare beforehand so it's lucky I didn't gain several stone as well :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Morning everyone. Well done on all the losses coming in - definitely looks like a week of 1.5lb's! Definitely won't be for me - I'm just hoping for a STS or a small loss. Will know tomorrow morning!
Well done B-E-G on The Greatest Loser.
Our consultant has decided on another taster tomorrow - it was only a few weeks ago we had the last one. It always seems to be the same people who make the effort every time - it annoys me at times but I'll carry on making something each time. I'm making the syn free fruit roulade. Will have to make it this evening as won't have time in the morning.
EE again today:
B - bacon, egg & mushrooms
L - LO chicken & bean casserole
D - "rounders" - this is a layered dish with savoury minced beef; aubergines, courgettes & potatoes baked in the oven to get a nice crispy top. Will have with a green veg of some sort as well.
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - may have some Ryvita & butter this evening - probably 6 or 7 syns for butter
Syns - butter (as above). Not sure what else but may have a pink n white and/or Magic Stars.
Off to cook some breakfast as have a spirometry appointment at the local hospital soon after 9.

What I forgot to add was aside from gaining 1.5lb, I also won the raffle. £25!! Treated myself to some hi-fi bars and now have £23 burning a hole in my pocket. Technically you're supposed to buy a 6 week plan with it, but screw that.0

Seem to be stuck in a constant cycle here of stuffing. I feel like rubbish and I know eating rubbish food is only making myself feel worse but I can't snap myself out of it. Its like all I care about at the minute eating rubbish.
I'm joining my new group on Monday as a new member and not taking my history with me I've decided. So I won't be able to report a loss until Your Week 3. Hope this is ok Shala.
Looking forward to joining the new group actually. Hopefully the competitiveness in me kicks in and I start to get something out of it again.
I will definitely have a stone if not more to lose to get back down to target. What a silly girl I am but hopefully I'll catch it in time before I go all the way backwards. No idea why this has happened or what is going on but it has taught me you can't become complacent with your attitude or motivation. I just need to find some again : /
Going to text my consultant tomorrow and tell her I've left her group - that should be fun :rotfl:0
