Thanks for the Finn Crisps info maman - guess which SM I was in this afternoon - yes you got it - Asda. :rotfl: Will have a look in later in the week. The cumin and whatnot ones sound quite nice. Might give them a go - just for a change. :D

Can I ask about roasting beetroot please? Do you just wash it with skin on and spray with frylight and bung it in oven as you would a JP?

Enjoyed Mac n Cheese with salad for tea with an Activia really creamy yoghurt for afters (2 syns). Must remember I have used hea and it is no longer available for supper :rotfl:

I bet I could eat a full bag of Maltezers tweets :p

Is this week 1 of the new challenge?

Hope everyone is keeping well but hugs to those who could do with one.

1.5lbs on for me please SHala!

Fairly inevitable, to be honest if I'd had my tea before I went last week I might have got away with it. Really good session today, not many people there and her boss was in, so she was on top form. A real laugh.

I think I might end up in SW magazine as I was telling the group why I joined (saw myself looking fat on The Chase).

Aw well at least you were sort of expecting it jock. OMG we have a tv celeb in our midst. :rotfl: I love Ann the Chaser, especially when she is trying to keep a straight face and not break into a smile. You will have to give us the heads up if you make it into the mag.:)

TIE, hadn’t thought to eat like an apple – I’ll give that a go! Thanks.

That looks tasty too, meg. Just as well I’ve got about 3lbs of beetroot to use up! Too lazy to pickle them.

I love beetroot too, always with macaroni cheese, fish and chips. I seem to prefer it with light coloured food – must be the contrast, rather than with dark meals like roasts, or gravy – although it is great on a sandwich with roast beef!

b_e_g, I just washed mine and threw them in with the chicken and potatoes when I was roasting them – pure guesswork! But they were great!

    Way to go, Lauri.

Stayed on track. The fake doner was fab. I will do that again. Altogether I’ve used 4 syns so far today. I still have half my hexa to have, so that leaves plenty of leeway for supper. Halo polishing, here I come. ;)

    Tomorrow I am planning
Breakfast: hexb cereal & fruit, splash hexa milk
Lunch: butternut squash soup, ML yogurt
Dinner: smoked salmon & courgette spaghetti (no courgettes, but I have a few tired asparagus spears, so will use them) (hexa + 1 syn), beetroot, fruit

Let’s get right on this – feeling positive. :)

I was worried I would be called to the front and told it was me and I had to talk about my SW experience.

Turns out there is a woman who never stays to group who has lost 5 stone ish.

But she doesn't stay to group so guess who got called to the front to talk about their SW experience...
