Called into Sainsbury's this morning for Finn Crisps. They were £1.25 for a pack but I think this is the most expensive anywhere.:( Might even be 70p in Asda, I need to investigate.
I think it was b_e_g who asked what they were like. They're smaller than Ryvita (perhaps two thirds the width) and much denser so not 'bubbly' like Ryvita. I really like them and there's 5 for a HEB or just 1 syn each (makes me feel better if I pinch half from DH).
Had leftover patatas bravas in fridge from weekend and they fried up a treat with a few other veg. I must make them again. I deliberately cook extra veg of an evening when possible makes for some very tasty and :money:lunches.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: ham, pickles, patatas bravas (with mushrooms, onions and tomatoes)Spaghetti Bolognese
Syns: scrape of spread, Parmesan (although may be OK in HEA) and half Crunchie at the football.0 -

Has it changed? It was 6 Finn Crisps as healthy Extra B...
Just checked my list, the Original ones are 6, others less. Or do I have an old list here...
6 Finn Crisp Original Thin Crisps
3 Finn Crisp Original Rye Crispbread
4 Finn Crisp Plus 5 Wholegrains Thin Crisp

I'd have thought you had access to the same lists as us and it definitely mentions gluten free breads and rolls. Here's the list:
2 slices BFree Soft White from 400g loaf
1 slice Genius Triple Seeded 560g loaf
1 x 75g Dietary Specials roll
1 x 60g Aldi 'has no' roll
1 x BFree multigrain wrap
60g BFree Brown seeded uncut bread
2 x 30g Glutafin Fibre bread
2 slices Dietary Specials White from 400g loaf
1 x 50g white ciabatta roll
2 slices Glutafin white 400g loaf
1 Glutafin fibre bread roll
1.5 slices Glutafin Select white
2 slices of Juvela ready to Refresh
Thank you,
I have just looked in the Red - Free Branded Foods book, I now see the Genius Food Bread (HEB).
Sorry people, I had not explored this book, I had put it on the shelf along with the Low Syn Snacks book and forgot it was there.
I was trying to find all the info online as that was where my membership was.
To be honest I did not know about the other brands, so this has really helped.SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -

No, it seems to have changed a bit. Not sure when.
The only ones that are 6 are Caraway and Cumin (or Kummin???) and the Organic which are still 6.
Most of the others are 5, various flavours
Then there's a whole string of others that I've not seen locally:
3 Hi Fibre
3 Plus 5 Wholegrain
4 Plus 5 Wholegrain Thins
3 Round Crispbreads multigrain
2 Original round crispbreads0 -

I'm glad it's helped. I'm getting my information from the website. The books are easy to use but they're not comprehensive and they go out of date as manufacturers change recipes.0 -

Woke up to 4 inches of snow this morning. There’s a thaw on now, so it’s starting to go. Our 3 grandchildren come to us after school today and they will be so disappointed that it’s too wet to play in.
Every little helps, b_e_g, bellkat and ginvzt:). And that helps even more, jps and fay.:D
Sending hugs, Mildredd.
Meg & TIE, what do you do with your beetroot? I love it but I’m not very imaginative! Roasted beetroot on Sunday was “out there.”
Hi, ezzuk!
Small change to today’s menu – instead of planned scrambled egg & smoked salmon, future DIL gave us a tub of her delicious chunky vegetable soup. It is so veggieful that there was no temptation to have bread with it.
My snack for today so far has been 1 Garibaldi (2 syns). I may need to polish my halo this evening. :A
See you all later.
Oh I love fresh beetroot ie in skin, roasted in oven. Makes them sweeter imo. I'm boring too, either have them chopped in salad or eaten like fruit ie grab one and eat like apple :rotfl:.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Typical eh!
@maman
I am guessing that one slice of the gluten free bread: Ds Wholesome Seeded Sliced Loaf 300G, will be the same HEB as the Genius bread.
I did not find it in the book, or online, but it kind of makes sense, it follows the pattern.SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -
dinner plans may be changing as we have to go out and collect a few things.
Bf has requested we have our weekly take away tonight as we aren't at rugby training tomorrow and we are doing homemade pizza on Saturday for family/date night. He wants KFC, I'm not feeling too cracking with my face pain as it is but does anyone know anywhere the syn values for KFC might be listed?
I'm looking for the boneless chicken mini fillets
regular fries
snack box (chicken or pop corn chicken)
popcorn chicken
lunch box
We usually get a boneless banquet and bf has the leftovers the next day but it doesn't really make sense to do that in my opinion!
If he changes his mind and does go chip shop instead I'll have a fish and mushy peas and leave the batter.
Sometimes I do wish our lives were just stable constants rather than seemingly in a constant state of flux! between rugby and everything else I sometimes feel it's pointless making plans!
In case I don't get on later here is my current plan for tomorrow:
Breakfast: overnight oats - have to use that yogurt up now; that said I felt there was far too much yogurt today (approx. 150g) so I think I will cut that down to 100g max so that's a small syn saving (1syn)
lunch: homemade leek and potato soup, melon chunks, an apple, hard boiled egg
tea: we don't have training this week so I'm thinking of either chicken wrapped in bacon with a jacket potato, beans and some salad or chicken and rice with a veg sauce we make (5.5 syn) will pretty much just decide when I get home tomorrow based on how me and bf feel.
HeA: half milk, half cheese - both weighed and measured to ensure accuracy
HeB: oats
body magic: I have to walk to my morning meeting first thing so that's a good 0.5-0.75 mile walk, may do a similar walk in the afternoon if I can get out of the office
I am feeling positive-ish about this week - more so than previous weeks. I was also surprised how long my overnight oats kept me feeling full; recently I've been starving by midday but today it was past 1 o'clock before I ate and even then it was only because my manager was eating and it made me realise I needed to eat too!************************************
