It's a small loss for me as well for the start of the challenge 0.5lbs please Shala.

I'm hoping to get my fitbit this week, thanks Crabapple for letting me know how you're getting on with yours.

I wore my DD's yesterday as she forgot to put in on before work. She does challenges with other people, so she wanted me to get to her 10,000 daily step target. I was really pleased when I made it, so I can't wait to get one now!!

Well just caught up on the posts, congrats everyone on the losses.

I'm not taking part in the challenge, I am just sticking to the plan and letting my body do the rest, I stay away from the wrong foods without the challenge accountability. It will be fantastic for some though!

Loving the changes I am making to the cooking of foods. Also eating vegetables and fruit, something I used to do only once or twice a week!

I lost 2.2 kg on SW this week :)
    BMI now = 34.6 kg/m2

Has anyone experience with Gluten free bread?
Genius Foods - Gluten Free Triple Seeded Sandwich Bread 560g loaf, 1 slice (5 Syns) OUCH!

There are not many gluten free alternatives that taste nice, I am guessing that there is no way one slice of gluten free bread can be part of the B choice?
I am guessing that this bread has added fat to create the texture.

    Thanks

Maman my issues with the plans are that I don't seem to be losing any weight! Not sure where I'm going wrong, as I said the first time I did SW the weight seemed to fall off and this time (and every other time) I'm getting nowhere - I've lost 4lbs in 4 weeks currently. I think it would be worse if I had the extra HEX's - I'm currently synning them so that I'm not having them plus the 15 syns a day. Not sure what a syn bank is though?

Daisy - I'm experiencing the same - first time round the weight literally fell off me. Over 4.5st in 26weeks. This time I am struggling more mentally and also seem to keep playing with the same 4lbs; on...off..on...off...of :/

Maybe our bodies have just modified our brain/body functions and they way it interacts with our food choices.

I didn't exercise much at all (just a walk everyday) the first time then afterwards I did a lot of gym work as well as walking lots. Now I have a baby (can I get away with still calling her a baby...she's almost one!) and work 4 days a week on top of keeping house etc I just have no time to re-join a gym or swim or even walk some days! Though like maman has said I don't feel exercise is a crucial element to the SW plans.

If green has worked for you in the past then just follow that and ignore the consultant leaving it out perhaps?

    Today:
breakfast: overnight oats - though I just noticed I picked the wrong yogurt up so I need to account for some syns. Judging by how much of the pot I used it is approx. 1.5 syn
lunch: I've brought in a smoked ham salad. Will have 1 tbsp. light salad cream on it - 1.5 syn
tea: haven't really planned tea for tonight. I'm think I will give bf and wonder bairn fish fingers or chicken nuggets and chips/potato waffles and I may have a jacket potato with baked beans and lettuce with beetroot
    HeB: oats
    HeA: milk

I did manage our walk in the end - though the wind was atrocious! Today I'm planning a walk on my lunch break - not sure how far but will do it at a decent enough pace.

    Welcome in

    I am gluten intolerant and a very kind person (sorry can't remember who as was ages ago) posted this for me;

    1 BFree multigrain wrap
    Glutafin bread
    Glutafin part baked white roll
    Glutafin fibre bread roll
    Juvela bread
    Genius Foods bread
and it said 35g of any gluten free cereal.

I noticed that all Doves Farm pasta was free so expect that's true of any.
Other HEB's you can have are:-

    4 x plain rice cakes
5 x Trufree high fibre/onion & herb gluten and wheat free crackers
5 x Glutafin high fibre crackers, gluten and wheat free
5 x Real Foods Corn Thins, original, gluten free (there are other flavours you can have but not sure if these are gluten free

So GF bread is a HEB,unless it's changed since I got this. Personally the only GF bread I like is the Genius fruit bread but I have to stay away from it as I ate the whole loaf in a day last time :o.

Jocko - are you planning to go into detail about your blowout at weigh in, or gloss over it?

    LL:)

It was discussed at length on Saturday, the day after it happened. Which is probably about 30 pages back now. Away with work, all you can eat chinese food, since I was blowing it with chinese food, I thought I'd sack off the day, had KFC lunch, 4 snickers and a vanilla slice from Greggs.

I felt pretty sick generally, I guess the rich food was a shock to the system.

Ezza - SW does seem a decent place to meet women, I am married already though but basically there are loads of women and I am the only man!

Shame SW only mention non-gluten free breads in their Healthy Extras section.
Agree that Genius Foods seems to be the best of the bunch, I use Ds Wholesome Seeded Sliced Loaf 300G for take out packed lunch, as it don't fall apart, it's not quite the same texture as Genius, but it's bearable.

Question just to confirm, one slice of all of these can be used as HEB?

Have you tried Kelkin Spaghetti/Pasta? It's YUMMY and boils well, not like the Heinz pasta.

Daytime TV - am watching James Martin's Operation Hospital Food. Some of the emailed photos of meals people are served in hospital are diabolical, he's just shown mouldy toast that someone had buttered even though it was mouldy . I remember the carp my poor Mum was served because she was diabetic, nearly every day 1 meal was a burnt jp, pudding was always diabetic icecream and some of the other slop was unidentifiable. My sister always took a flask of soup in for her. I dread having to go into hospital for any length as I have such a complicated diet due to intolerances, I think I would have to rely on my family bringing me food I could eat. Would probably lose weight though :rotfl:.

To be honest I'm not sure on portions other than the wrap but I'm sure someone in the know will help. The only pasta I have is the freefrom as its what Tesco sells. It's edible but sticks together, will look out for Kelkin then thank you.
