Was just typing a post and have now lost it:mad:

Can't remember everything but was saying how much easier it is to get up now that the lighter mornings are with us.

I seem to be able to get the housework done much earlier at this time of the year. Most already done, apart from hoovering which I'll do shortly.

    Another EE day:

B - baked beans on toast with mushrooms, which needed using up!
L - sweet chilli noodles (1.5 syns) although may add some more sweet chilli sauce so would be another 1.5 syns
D - Spanish chicken with chorizo (1.5 syns)

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - bread for toast

Syns so far: 3 or 4.5. May also have some Magic Stars for another 3.5

Morning all. Have decided I need to just draw a line under the eating events of this weekend and start again. Really struggling with SW this time, I don't understand really. The first time I did it the weight fell off me, every time since I really struggle to even lose a couple of pounds and I don't think I'm doing anything different. It's ladies week this week so I'll just need to ride it out and see what happens but I think I'll have another gain this week - that's 2 in 4 weeks.

Have been all over instagram looking for SW inspiration and did some cooking last night as I'm studying all day today and don't want to be getting the munchies.

B: baked oats (hexa/b) with choc highlight (2) and raspberries
L: Small bowl split pea soup, tomato pasta and salad
D: Quorn cottage pie (HM, 4 syns for butter in mash and gravy) beans and veg

Got loads of speed fruit and think I will have a small wholemeal roll with the soup (5 syns). Aiming for 3 litres of diluting juice.

If anyone spots anything obvious that I'm doing wrong please let me know. I know that if I was having a green day I wouldn't need to syn the roll but I have just as many issues with green as I do with EE so avoiding that for the moment. Gonna ramp up the activity this week, get to the gym at least 4 times and try to get my 10,000 steps a day - its harder than you'd think!!!!!!

Hope Poppy enjoyed her ¼ of that !clair tweets!!
BEG – A trying on session can really motivate you at times!
Shala – Glad to hear that your Dad is feeling better Shala.
I really need to behave myself right now Whiplashy, if I don’t get a grip of it today and get back on it I could be going all the way backwards!
I’ll not even tell you what I ate over the weekend, it would be easier to tell you what I didn’t eat really. A good time was had by all and hopefully I can get really into things again. Im in trouble if I don't.
14 lbs please for me Shala for the challenge. I suspect I will have more than that to lose now but that will do for a start :rotfl:

There was a small glimpse into her past which I think is to be looked into at some point xx

Makes me cry most weeks :/

Thanks for clarifying that Mildredd, it makes sense now. She does drink a lot, and it looked like neat vodka last night.

I've thought for some time that the redhead is gay, and it really shows the difference between then and now in attitude. I'm friends with a lesbian couple who are in their 70s and they both married and had children as they couldn't be open about their sexuality.

    Good morning

I am off work for a few days so I have time to sort out food.

Not sure what I will spend the rest of my syns on

Morning. In between the snowshowers there is lovely sunshine here. At least it's not lying.

    Thinking about you, beanie.

Well done, Mrs-R; sounds like you're sorted!

Not a good start to our new challenge; it's STS for me, shala.

I'm changing today's dinner plan. I forgot I have grandson for tea (every Monday so how could I forget, lol). I'll have hm macaroni cheese (8 syns), broccoli, tomoato and pickled beetroot. BTW yesterday's roasted beetroot was lovely too - who'd have thought it?

I've just had 1 Garibaldi (2 syns) for a snack with my cuppa (I am really trying to be good), so after my chicken mayo sandwich at lunch time, I'll have 4 syns left for today. I'm writing all this down here to try to impress it on my brain!

    I'll report in later.

..... and try to find them space in the freezer!

Same here lush. I made 15 meals over the weekend from the mince I bought on Friday so that's burgers, Bolognese and savoury mince all squeezed in. We'll only eat 1 or 2 maximum per week so we're OK for a while!

If you don't have meat then it is technically a Green day although I think you're right to have lots of Speed food too. You're choosing to not have extra HEXs but syn a roll but from what you said if you were doing a syn bank you might not have any left!:rotfl:What are the 'issues' with the plans. Can we help?

Strange you should say that but I was in the theatre last year watching a Noel Coward play. No one turned a hair at the obvious gay characters but the audience went mad when one started smoking! I notice that the film Pride is out on DVD this week. It's an excellent film set at the time of the miners' strike in the 80s but the attitude to gays is of its time too.

    Back soon.:)

So many posts to catch up on. Love the Call the Midwife chat, it reminds me of when I was a child, very similar outlooks.

Shala, could you put me down for -7 lbs for the challenge please. It should be do-able, but I have lots of outings booked!

Thank you for keeping us all on track and for all the hard work keeping the chart up to date.

    Hi all,
So i am away with work for the next week and the Tues/Wed meals are my choice where and what so thats easy.
I have been sent he menu for Thurs-Sat and its 2 courses, have avoided the puddings (yay me!!) and my menu looks like this
Thurs- Prawn cocktail (dressing on side)/ Salmon Steak with new potatoes (no butter or sauce) with vegetables
Fri- Salmon nicoise salad (dressing on side)/ ASia feast (a treat!! i have had it before and it is so fine !!)
Saturday- Prawn cocktail as above / Portabello mushroom pasta with no sauce and a slice of goats cheese.
Have taken mugshots and my food flask with me as lunches are likely to be sandwich based and want to avoid them. Brekkie is no probs and have taken hifi lite bars for my snacks.
DOes this sound ok to you all??
