Don't worry about us Shala, we understand life gets in the way and glad your dad is recovering :) Thank you for doing our challenge charts.

I'm not sure if I'm setting myself up for a fail (again), but I really wanted to hit target by the end of April, and it's only 12lbs away so...

12lb target for me please Shala!

I have been out for a walk today. I followed a kind of natural loop (well, if natural means formed by lots of main roads!) round where I live and found out it's just a bit under 2.5 miles. I reckon I need to find an extra little bit somewhere next time. Probably next weekend as I'll be walking from work in the week if all goes to plan. I've established now I should easily be able to do 2 miles during lunchbreak - just got to find a route!

It's the furthest I've walked in years, even if it was probably very slow! Plus I've managed two days of SP so feeling very proud of myself :j Just not sure I can manage Sunday lunch without any potatoes!

Hi everyone, it's 10lbs for me for the challenge, please Shala.

I hope your dads ok after his op.

I'm really looking forward to this next challenge. I'm thinking of getting a fitbit this week to encourage me to walk more. They are a bit pricey though!

  • Can you count me in for the new Challenge with a target of 10lbs please Shala.

Seems a bit of a cop-out but we have a little break away in three weeks time, Easter, anniversary and DH's birthday.

Thanks so much Shala for organising everything for us :)

Good luck everyone for the new Challenge.

I got a fitbug - it's doing the job for me already and was a bit cheaper.

I'm pleased for you lois. It has to be better to be almost a half stone lighter. Since I've thought about SP I'm conscious that I definitely eat fewer carbs especially potatoes. I've stopped throwing a few potatoes/parsnips into vegetable soup too. You could try a few SP meals or just odd days. Red Days sound much the same to me except for a measured carb but cutting back has done that for me anyway. I'm also conscious of the revised Speed food list and choosing not to eat the fruit that's now just free (easy for me as I'm not a big fruit fan).

    Thanks for this maman.

Having been successful with SW before, when there were only red and green days, I don't think I have faith in EE working as well. So my thinking was that something needs to change and going back to a plan that worked before seemed like the thing to do. But I can see how making changes towards the new SW plans could work as well.

So today I have done SP:
B/L - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes plus toast (HEB)
D - chicken casserole, carrots, green beans, cabbage, broccoli
    Dessert - orange
Syns - butter (2) casserole mix (2) and wine (9)

So I've got a HEA and HEB left. If I get hungry later I might have ryvita and cheese. Right now I don't feel hungry at all so I might not need it.

I'm going to try doing a couple of SP days each week to see if it does the trick.
