Morning
Jock - you know how to have a day off the plan! :j:rotfl:
I think it's good to go mad and have a blow out now and then, the trick is drawing that line and putting it behind you, and you can do it.
Well done Counting Pennies, brilliant loss, you deserve it for sticking with it. Well done Rummer and anyone else who has lost, and welcome to the newcomers.
I'm going shopping with 2 female friends this afternoon while our OHs play golf so I'm expecting to do quite a bit of walking around. The challenge will be avoiding temptation in the coffee bars as no doubt they will indulge in cafe con tarte at regular intervals. Someone once said golf is a good walk spoiled, well I feel the same way about shopping and golf.
Have a great weekend everyone.

STS SHALA
been really good too, all I can think is I've been using weights more in my exercises so maybe body is holding onto water.
For the new challenge I would like to aim for 5lb although ideally I need to lose 8lb but don't want to put too much pressure on myself. Last week I tried giving up/cutting down on my chocolate treat and ended up seeking out other things to compensate, they were all within syns but not as good for me as they contained wheat/gluten. Think I will stick to the chocolate as it saves me being tempted by anything else. Think I will try cutting out pasta, I was only having it once per week, but it may be causing me to stall.Weight loss 0/2st

I think you should stick with cafe sin torte which if you're careful with the coffee you have will have no syns!
Daisy, your menu looks Green to me so you don't need to syn a roll. But you do need to have some syns.
I'm going to do Bolognese and some burgers for the freezer today. Like daisy, I was getting a bit fed up of the same meals and the lack of quick things from the freezer. I took a look through recipe files and sorted a few things we haven't had in ages. I also asked DH but got the usual answer: Pies! He knows there's a M&S chicken pie in the freezer. Maybe we'll have it around Easter. Were away for a few days then and I know I'll gain so one more off plan meal won't matter.
Today's menu:
B: NAS Ribena, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk
L: LO veg to use up so bubble&squeak, pickles and maybe hampulled pork (Tesco), SW chips, peas, tomatoes, mushrooms
Syns: scrape of spread, weekend wine.0 -
Hi everyone, I've been lurking on this thread for about a week trying to decide whether SW is for me. Everyone who I've spoken to at work seems to have lost weight following this so I fancied giving it a shot - already loving the idea of the free food and not going hungry
I've struggled with my weight for years and its slowly crept up to the point where my BMI now tells me I'm obese rather than just overweight which has scared the bejeezus out of me!
I'm naturally painfully shy so the thought of going to a group meeting and talking about my weight just brings me out in a cold sweat, so I'll be doing it on my own. Although after reading the post about it being a waste apart paying for online membership apart from the books, I'm now tempted to just buy the books off ebay and do it that way.0
