    Evening all :)
Happy birthday Tweets-hope you enjoyed your eclair :)
Re social team- I think we're spoiled in my group. I usually help out on shop or meet and greet- we get a copy of the magazine each month, when one of the social team has a birthday we all have a whip round among the social team and buy flowers for the birthday person. We have social team nights out as well- we had a fab one at Christmas, we paid for our meal and our consultant bought wine for the table (and there was rather a lot of it :D I had a stinking hangover the next day :D) she's trying to arrange another night out at the minute but bowling seems to be the popular option so I doubt I will go as I can't lift the balls let alone bowl them :D
Been to the gym today. I worked really hard and have been really good this week so praying for a loss.. Any loss! Have just booked the hotel for my awards ball so it's given me a good kick up the proverbial as to how close it is and I want to look my best. I've been mostly off plan for about four or five weeks now so sticking to plan 100% is killing me but I'm trying to stay as focused as I can. I have a weekend away in three weeks which will kill my efforts stone dead :D but I'm thinking if I can be good till then...
    Today's food plan:
B: Frozen mixed berries, Activia 0%
L: HM carrot and coriander soup, NAS cordial with diet lemonade
Snack after gym: HEXB Alpen Light x 2, bananas x 2
T: big Quorn bolognaise- Quorn mince, mixed beans, tinned tomatoes with garlic, Ainsley Harriott Lemon, Mint and Parsley couscous (2.5 syns) NAS cordial with diet lemonade
S: 2 cheese twists (4 syns) frappucino made with HEXA s/s
    Syns: 6.5
Body magic: 68 mins cardio (33 mins exercise bike, 10 mins treadmill, 15 mins cross trainer, 7 mins arm bike, 3.5 mins rower) also 1.5 litres of water drank while working out.
    Night all xxx

    Good work, Lois and Rummer.

    Hello troubr, donnamontana and headachesrus.

jock, I had a similar day – it must be freaky, eaty Friday! But who cares, team drew tonight. ;)

As they say around here, “I could fair go one of those,” tweets! And thanks for permission to go ‘off piste’ for today - or should that be ‘oft pi**ed?’ Happy birthday.

Ah well, back to plan tomorrow.

    Breakfast: bacon, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms
Lunch: butternut squash soup, hm sage & onion bread (6 syns)
    Dinner: chicken chasseur (1 syn)
Snacks: use hexa and hexb, plus choice from usual suspects, up to 8 syns

    Night all.

Thanks for the info both. There are groups near me, I'm just not liking the thought of going to one... I basically hate speaking about diets etc with people... it makes me cringe. I don't know why, I have issues.:o

Perhaps I might join for a month to get the info then give it a go alone?

If you went to a group for just one night you'd get all the new books and an introductory talk (for just any new people not part of the whole group) then you just sit there for the session and listen. You don't need to say anything and you get weighed as a starting point. That would cost you £10. I suppose I'm saying this because of the mse:money: in me but I suppose a short online membership would achieve similar but cost more. Whatever you decide, you're very welcome on here.:)

    Happy Birthday Tweets :D

I lost 1 1/2lbs this week Shala so better than last week!

This time I will do it! Then I will have lost a stone in total (if it happens :rotfl:)
:T that's great rummer. Keep going, you're on a roll!

Good to hear from you MrsR, I knew your awards night would help get you motivated again. Fingers cross for good news at WI.

Like the sound of your meal b_e_g, unfortunately salmon is one of the few other things my DH isn't fond of but he might like it with the spicy flavourings. I'll put the idea to him.

Enjoyed my egg and chips tonight, a rare treat for me. Felt really stuffed afterwards but managed to force down a couple of Finn crisps. I love their nutty flavour, probably my favourite HEB and at 1 syn each I think I might be snacking on them.

Good stuff, cte, salduck, daisy, SallyC, Denise and djenks.

I am so sorry to hear that you’ve lost friends, b_e_g and beanie.

Fay, I have up to 15 - unless I’m very naughty of course ;) I’ve listed my snacks as what I might choose, but I def shouldn’t have all of that. I decide at snack time what I fancy. I tried posting snacks in my meal plan, but usually I got sidetracked/tempted. I tried not posting snacks at all, but that gave me carte blanche to eat anything and everything, lol. For the moment, it seems to be working for me to know what there is available and with a wide choice in case it turns out that something has gone! I’ve listed the syns required per snack, so there is a bit more flexibility. And it cons me into thinking I’ve a teeny wee bit of FREEDO-O-O-M, as Mel Gibson said!

Congrats on a fab loss rummer :j

Today will be another SP day as I have half (possibly more in the case of pepper stuffing) of what I ate yesterday left. I will undo pizzagate even if I have to feel like I'm on a diet for a few days :D

I'm also going to get out for a walk. Ideal world, hubby will be well enough to look after the kids for a bit so I can go at a pace rather more suited to an adult, and not have to wait while toddler jumps in all the puddles :D

Might be getting ahead of ourselves a little, but do we have a name for the new challenge? It was something about eggs last year I think (was before I joined SW or this thread).

  • Morning all! Counting Pennies that's an amazing loss, well done! :j

Last night I decided that I need to start mixing things up a bit. I eat the same meals all the time and don't seem to be getting very far, so this weekend I am planning to try lots of new things to see if that gives me a wee boost. Been all over instagram and pintrest for inspiration. Woke up starving and craving something sweet so made the baked oats and put a Highlights in it so its nice and chocolatey. Planning to have a sliced banana on top YUM!!!!! Also determined to get my 10000 steps today and tomorrow plus do the workouts my trainer has set me.

B: Baked oats (hexa and b), choc highlight (2 syns) and banana
L: Spicy tomato and lentil soup
D: Spicy tomato pasta and salad

Might have a wholemeal roll with the soup for 5 syns. lots of fruit and yog too. Have just checked the oats and suspect I've put too much milk in, seems pretty soggy!!! Shoved it back in for a bit, fingers crossed it works out...
  • Well done Rummer and Counting Pennies! Great losses.

I can't decide what to have for lunch today, I'll be with my 2.5 year old DD2 at a birthday party (where I absolutely mustn't pick at anything other than fruit!!) while my DH takes DD1 to McDonalds for a treat. The plan is that he'll pick us up after the party and we'll go straight to do the weekly shop.

I've had my HEB for breakfast (bran flakes) so I can't make a sandwich to take. I could have a fruit salad with yoghurt I suppose. I often make the SW lentil and cheese loaf for a lunch option if I'm out but I don't have time to make that between ballet and the party!

Have a lovely weekend all x
