Greggs Custard Slice
KFC Lunch
Loads of Biscuits
4 snacksize snickers
Chinese Buffet meal, not SW friendly
At the hotel buffet breakfast I got back on track with a bowl of fruit and some beans with slice and a half of brown toast, strongly doubt it is SW toast, but had to eat something. The Raddison Blu was not very SW friendly for me.
Won't be able to check the scales until tonight, but I am not optimistic.
I'm having a Subway Salad for lunch and having a SW meal properly at home tonight, so it'll only be a day. I think my record of only one gain in 21 weeks will be broken this week.
It was nice food and I think it was worth it. I estimate it was about 400 flexible syns
Nice one jock :T Get that line drawn and get back on it. I am sure any gain will not hang around too long for you. As you say it might give your metabolism a kickb e g ~~hope your skin is a wee bit better today.
Thanks beanie. It seems to be really angry and looks horrible. I look as though I have been sitting out in the sun for too long and I haven't - honest. Think I will be off to the drs on Monday.Determined head fell off as I came off the wagon wednesday night and ordered dominos. And of course as it's 2 for the price of 1 it would be stupid to buy just one. The plan was to put one in the freezer for another binge in a few weeks, but hubby came down with a stomach bug (he's proper poorly) and after single handedly sorting the kids out for bed I just ate cold pizza for tea
Just as I was reading your post Crabapple, the postie has popped a dominoes leaflet and Hotel Chocolat booklet through the door
I think you maybe onto something lantanna when you said you are thinking of starting a new class. Will you be drawing a line under your loss so far and starting again with them so that you aren't continually wheeled out as a 'star pupil'. Enjoy the weekend - never heard of posh hot dog places before. Good luck for next week. I have thought about weighing on Monday and running as I am sure there was something about Greatest Loser Comp this week coming - I cannot say for
Hope you back eases soon TIE.
Welcome to our newbies.
Our consultant always makes a point of thanking members of the social team each week and I am pretty sure at Christmas she bought them a little gift to acknowledge their help. She always says she couldn't do it without them. Have thought about offering my services but I enjoy the natter with the others before class starts. We sometimes wash the cups before we leave if the class finishes a bit earlier but its usually near to 9pm and I am weary by then and waiting for my tea

I'm on the social team at our group and our Consultant lets us have a copy of the magazine free so I suppose you could say we get "paid" £1.95 a month, LOL! She also buys us a gift for Christmas. She only starting giving us the magazine the beginning of last year - no idea why she started doing it but I'm not complaining! Prior to that we were given a small present at Christmas. She doesn't thank us every week but every so often she does.
Have been really busy this morning so only just managed to get online. Haven't got much time as DH is due home shortly so I'll just post my menu for today:
Another EE day:
B - scrambled eggs on toast, banana
L - duck leg salad; clemintine
D - fish chips & peas;
Will probably have some grapes from time to time if peckish.
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - weekend wine probably.

Well, just struggled through my lunch because my lips are still asleep!
Combination of not being able to eat and attempting SP means I've eaten pretty well so far!
B: Branflakes & milk
S: Roll with quorn slices in (2 syns for a bit of butter)
L: 4 SW mini quiches with veg (another 2 syns for butter)
We don't have much snacky stuff in so an apple and maybe if I'm desperate a bag of crisps!Roast pepper filled with quorn mince and veg.
It's so nice out there I can't stay in so I'm going to go for an amble at 3 year old pace! Will put the baby in a sling so even if I don't go far at least I'll get a bit more exercise.
Funny thing is, prior to SW I was carrying over 2 of him around every day without really thinking about it :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
Slimming World ~ trying to get back on the wagon...0 -
I used to be on pay every week but just help out when needed now.. Never received anything, except a thanks of course
Missed WI last night, nodded off and must have zonked out fully.. Oh well, it would have been another gain no doubt so won't lose any sleep over it!
Well done to the losers and fellow strugglers and plodders, we are still here and that's what counts!0 -
Hey everyone
I'm thinking of starting slimming world but just the online membership, does anyone else do that or is it more the groups?
My story: I started on SSRI medication 3 years ago and that has caused me to gain around 5 stone in weight. The first 2 stone I could cope with but now I'm really unhappy. Weighed myself last night for the first time since Christmas and ended up crying... So figured it's time to try *something*.
Up until November last year I was very into the gym, I did a lot of weight lifting and some cardio. I have a big appetite when gymming so the slimming world idea appeals to me rather than calorie counting. Since November though, I moved house and got out of routine and not got back into it. There's no decent gyms near me either anymore... Exercise helped me a lot with my depression but now the idea of looking in the mirror makes me cry...
So basically, what's the deal with SW online? Sorry for the ramble0 -
Today has not bee a good day - actual meals are fine (see below) its just the half dozen chocolate orange digestives that have ruined it and that's put me in a cruddy frame of mind
but I'm fighting it!
Actual proper food today:
breakfast: 2 wheat biscuits (heb) and milk (from hea) plus a cuppa (milk from hea)
lunch: free frittata plus 1syn worth of cottage cheese with pineapple and a heap of salad (lettuce, beetroot, cucumber, cherry tomatoes)
tea: chicken wrapped in lean bacon with 2 potato waffles (5 syn) and beans plus extra veggies for me (peas and sweetcorn). I've only used 70% of my hea so I am having some cheese on my chicken and bacon. I'm sad and have worked out I can have 9g which is more than enough to satisfy the craving once melted on the top
I have now banished the devil biscuits to the bag with the Easter goodies in which I have stashed in the server room behind my desk (bfs eggs and a little one for wonder bairn)
I have planned next week's lunches/breakfasts for work:
Tuesday: breakfast: overnight oats (heb) lunch: lush salad
Wednesday: breakfast: overnight oats (heb) lunch: homemade leek and tattie soup
Thursday: breakfast: (at an event so an off plan croissant) lunch: more leek and tattie soup
Friday: breakfast: overnight oats (heb) lunch: jacket potato with salad, beans and cheese
Will bring 4 hard boiled eggs in on Tuesday to have as my snacks for the week************************************

BEG - Probably just going to go along and keep my history, but say to the Consultant that I don't want a big deal made of it. I had 6 stone 9 lbs lost at the most but was prob too slim, I've probably a stone back though :rotfl:
I'll test the water - see what happens
So I've prob got 5 stone 7 lbs lost at least with about 10 lbs to target (maybe more after the weekend).
Ah well just like life our weight changes - its the not giving up that matters, this is just a little bump in the road. I'm enjoying the bump for the weekend and then getting a grip on Monday.
Lush - I never even knew Chocolate Orange Digestives existed!!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!0
