I thought you can have 6 Finn Crisps for HeB? Would love 10!!!
The second HeB was raisins in my breakfast.

Just had dinner. It was risotto with veg, with salad and then OH made some fruit salad too.
Only the thin caraway ones are 6 and website doesn't give raisins as HEB:(
The HB steak n gravy maman was ........... mwah (smacking of lips and wiping gravy from chin :p). It was absolutely delish and will definitely be appearing on the menu again. :D We had it with SW roasties, brussels, cabbage, brocolli - oh and mushrooms in with the steak. While the oven was on we put a rice pud in using Almond Milk so will have some of that later. Still got a heb to use.

So glad you enjoyed it b_e_g. It's amazing how much lovely gravy you get for just a tsp of cornflour and it's just as nice with chips and perhaps broccoli or asparagus. Which steak did you use?

That fish looked really lovely too meg. You were really lucky to get it YS as it's normally sooo expensive.

Back to bad habits tonight, chocolate and cheese. Only a square of choc and half a Finn crisp with gorgonzola to give me a taste but I get cross for giving in.:(
  • Been away for a few days and lots to catch up on! Was away last week so will class that as a stay the same please Shala and this week I have put on 0.5 - happy with that considering how badly I fell off the wagon but really need to turn it around now to avoid gaining next week too!

  • Morning everyone

Quite nice morning here, bit frosty but bright. Had a rubbish night's sleep :(. Suffering with a skin complaint atm and woke up several times with it. Might need to visit drs sometime as the lotions and potions I have don't seem to be having any effect. :( I hate getting out of the shower, all nice and clean and then having to cover myself in horrible sticky smelly cream :(

I think it was some YS Sainsbobs Frying Steak maman. It had three lovely thick, very lean pieces in. So we cooked all three and one portion will do DS one day before he goes to work. Will have a look in at Farm Foods at their steaks some time but I don't usually pass the shop on my normal travels but will have to try and remember to pop in.

Talking of being cross at giving in - Mum opened a box of the M&S Belgium Choc Biscuits (black and gold tin - you know the ones ;)) and I thought providing I dont go to get one I will be ok. DH made coffee when we visited yesterday afternoon and passed them around. Offered them to me and I said 'No thanks', he replied 'Are you sure' then me 'ok I will have one' Pleased I stuck at one and I will still be within syn allowance but I dont want to get into the habit of having one on each visit as I am in and out several times a day and usually have a cuppa on each visit

Plans for today - off to Sainsbobs, drop Mums shopping off, blood donors this afternoon and then visit s-i-l tonight. Housework will be fitted in somewhere along with washing and some ironing. Meals today - haven't got a clue yet :p :rotfl:

Hope you managed some sleep last night last lantanna and feel a wee bit happier this morning and all others who have fallen out of love with it all soon manage to get back on track.

Morning! It is wet and raining here.

I made magic pancakes this morning and twins were scoffing them as if they had no food for weeks. A bit stressed, as didn't have the best nights sleep. DS woke at around 4am whining, went to him, but few minutes later he was on it again. Told OH to deal with it as I am working today, so he went there, brought DS to our bed (that is ok, I don't mind) and then said he is off to sleep in another bed (DS likes sleeping sideways, so ends up kicking us both). Would have been fine, if DS just went back to sleep, but he was wet, so needed changing and was asking for milk. So, I had to get up, changing him, make him milk and then we went to sleep. Until DS turned in bed and started kicking me... Never mind, part of being mum. Will get over with a hot cup of tea.

I have a few items on ebay ending today around lunch time, really hope the prices will go up a bit more - it is the children stuff, like pushchair (cost us a fortune - twins things seem to cost double and more, no such thing as 2 for 1 in this case), baby carrier, etc.

    Today's menu:
    B: magic pancakes
L: it is Friday takeaway at work, and as I only work on Friday very rarely, I am in today and will be having Thai red curry with duck... It is probably a million of syns (has coconut milk in it), but after being ill at home within four walls and eating the same food for the last three days, I am looking forward to something different
D: will probably have to compensate for the lunch with some salad or something very simple and light.

    Morning all :)

It's 1lb off for me this week Shala.

That isn't even halfway to the target I set and although I'm pleased to be 6 lbs lighter than I was, I'd like to be losing more so something needs to change for this challenge. I'm not sure about SP, I think I'd be hungry without any carbs, but I might try doing Red days instead of EE.

Have a good day everyone, hugs to anyone that's struggling with hormones, toddlers or anything else.

  • Morning all!

tie hope your back is starting to feel a bit better, I spent 2 months lying flat last year because I couldn't stand up, I know how horrible it is. I am reliably informed that ice is better than heat but I think the hot water bottle can be very soothing.

lantana you poor thing! I'm in the same boat, it's like someone has announced that food has gone out of fashion!! Got some WW mini rolls to "have one with a cup of tea" for the chocolate craving...scoffed 8 of them before my tea last night!! 6.5 syns EACH!!:eek::eek:

Hopefully you're feeling a bit better today.

Well, all I have done is eat. Have stuck to SW meals but just had MASSIVE portions, it's the best I can do during "eating week". Woke up this morning STARVING and theres no milk so I had a cooked breakfast and 2 ww mini rolls. I'm not away to beat myself up about it, its not in my control so I'll just have to draw a line and move on. Have an exam this morning that I've not studied at all for because I've been so flipping knackered this week, sure I'm about to fail it but past the point of caring at this moment in time!!!!!!

B: Egg fried in frylight, beans and 2 x LM sausages (2 syns?) and brown sauce (1 or 2 syns)
    L: Spicy tomato pasta, salad
D: Absolutely no idea, maybe a pizza made from a free from base, with SW potato wedges and salad

Snacks will probably be mini rolls haha. There's only 4 left thank goodness, why I bought 3 packs I'll never know!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Meg - Your meals look great, no wonder you are a skinny Minnie!
Whiplashy – Loving the interrogation of the Butcher!
Shala – Hormone Central for us then!!
Maman – Oh but Chocolate & Cheese are definitely the best bad habits to have! Don’t be too hard on yourself!
BEG – You’ve described it beautifully that’s exactly what has happened! I’ve fallen out of love with SW!
Ginvt – Takeaway Friday in work! Now that sounds good!
So the sealion is in work!:rotfl: I'm joining a new class on Monday! I need a change. So I'm still continuing with my plan of having the whole weekend off and getting it all out of my system.
I could quite possibly be starting the new challenge with a stone to lose. Whatever will be will be. I'm not going to worry about it just promise myself I will get a grip!
I'm going out tomorrow for a late lunch with some friends to a posh hotdog place and there will be cocktails as well. I haven't had a night out since before Christmas so I am looking forward to it.
My mother hit a cord last night, she said I am eating coz I am bored and not going out as much etc. She's right. I don't care what I look like in my clothes coz I'm going nowhere but work. I've become a recluse who rewards herself with food :rotfl:
Anyway Monday is a new start xx
