    hello all

    Hi Smedley

Amy - the jogging could be the reason you haven't had big losses. Your muslces hold water after you exercise...

    Some good loses :T:T

BEG, Beanie - sorry to hear your news xx

Lois - i can't watch that programme, it makes me annoyed. I know some of it wil be a set up for tv but no child shouldbe taught to eat the way they are :(

Sally - peanut hottie is my new favourite thing :rotfl: BEG - i use 1 sachet/tub of quark - so it make sit 4 syns.. depends how peanutty you like it really.

BEG - could you swap your big yorkshire to two/three smaller ones - the aunt bessies ones are 2 syns each. i've found they're enough when we've done sausage casserole..

Whiplashy - i've heard our local butcher is doing syn free stuff now too :j however, i'm not sure how to check it is actually syn free as SW don't check it *confused* so it could all be lies!:rotfl:

Weigh in tonight - it's not looking good from the sneaky weigh ins i've done :( hormones is all i can think it is as i've been on plan - i hate getting weighed when i haven't done well, i'm so embarrassed in front of the weigh in lady... :(

Never mind, plod on and hope for the best next week!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Just tried a weight watchers Ocean Pie a friend gave me for lunch, it was tasty but don't think I will buy any, seems quite high in sugar and salt.

Just checked syns and its 3.1/2.

Thanks so much shala :). Re the peanut hottie - our (well DS's ;)) peanut hottie is in a jar so will just have to be careful not to go overboard with the amount used. Re the yorkies - I don't think the smaller ones will hit the spot - blame the Aunt Bessie's ads that come on in between The Chase :p:rotfl: We shall see how virtuous I feel by the weekend. You never know I might have moved onto something else by then :rotfl:

    Fingers crossed for wi.

When will have to submit our targets for new Challenge shala? If I miss it just shout at me :D

How many syns do you have a day.
Just wondering. I was told I can have up to 20 ?

If you have been told you are allowed up to 20 then try to have as many as that. As I said earlier the plan includes the syns and they are there to be used.

I'm at target now but still have my full 105 syns a week (like Maman I like to save some for weekends for wine as we often go away in our motorhome) but I do try to make sure I have at least 5 a day during the week as recommended by the plan.

Just returned from WI and shopping and lost 0.5lb which I'm happy about - now just 1.5lb from bottom end - where I'm hoping to be for Easter but as long as I stay in target range I'll be OK.

    Todays plan

B - Overnight oats lots of cherries blackberries bluberries oats and yoghurt muller light
L Jacket Potato , beans, lett tom cuc onioin, sprinkle of cheese and salad cream , 2 oranges apple banana
D Fakeaway fish chips mushy peas , is peas classed as speed on plate

On an EE day they are just Free so not a Speed food. On an SP day they are classed as P. You really need to have something else as well or alternatively you could have a bowl of veggie soup beforehand or a bowl of fruit salad after.

There was a discussion here on the thread about SW suggesting that people with more to lose can have more syns but no-one found anything to verify that.

As a newbie to SW I suggest you use all 20 syns and see how you get on. If you lose weight, great! If your weight loss isn't as good as you'd like it to be, bring the number of syns down a bit.

You need to be accurate with counting/weighing syns though, don't be lulled into thinking 20 syns will go a long way and not count everything.

You can also use syns on foods that are classed as healthy extras so for example on EE you could have cereal for breakfast (HEB) and a 60g wholemeal roll for lunch (6 syns).

I stopped watching it, I was getting so frustrated with everyone blaming everyone else, particularly the parents. One 13 year old girl was totally miserable about her weight and the doctor suggested the whole family change their diet and get some exercise but they tried it once and then gave up. An 11 year old was left at home with her older sister while her mum worked nights and the cupboards were full of cakes, biscuits, sweets and crisps for them to eat.

I'm looking forward to my return to the UK so I can try this!

    Thanks Sally :)

Well done on your fantastic loss this week and on your 1st shiney :T:T:T. That Club 10 award has your name on it for next week ;).

Have been meaning to try the peanut hottie with quark - must remember to give it a go tonight. How much of the peanut stuff did you use?

Celery soup has just been blended and DH sampled it and he says it tastes like ..................... wait for it .............. celery soup - result I would say :rotfl:

Defrosted the steak for the HB recipe for tonight - won't be bothering you maman I managed to unearth it :D.

Been trying to watch last night's Corrie for the past couple of hours and so far I am about half way through with all the stops and starts.

Wonder if any heads will roll for the Madonna incident last night.

    Good Afternoon :)

At work they have been saying it was a stunt because everything was going smoothly ;)
