That looks fine amy. I'm assuming no bread with the ploughmans and do have your snack. I'd really recommend having all/most of your syns every week. You can always cut back a bit when you get closer to target if you slow down. I like 'luxury' chilli made with steak but 5% mince is much cheaper. 750g packs in Asda are best value AFAIK.
Thanks Maman.
No bread with lunch. I've had to make a slight change in my plan. Didn't have any ham left so have tinned tuna in spring water instead! I do normally use 5% mince however I was lucky the other day and spotted a reduced pack of steak. Was only £5.00 and I think I'll get 6/7 meals from it the amount of veg I chucked in!
Thanks again for your advise. Amy0 -
Don't you feel they are a bit of a binder, I had to cut down my intake for the toilet problem and lost more lbs this week ? Don't know whether its anything to do with it
I don't seem to have any problem but maybe that's just because I drink crazy amounts at work
Today:
Breakfast: heb cereal with milk from hea
lunch: frittata with salad if I can get out of the works car park to go to the supermarket! and some cottage cheese with pineapple (the one I have is 0.5syn per 100g I think and will be having a tbsp. so rounding up to 1syn for ease!)
tea: savoury mince dish we make using Heinz minestrone soup (6.5syn) plus syn free mash and a little Yorkshire pud (3syn)
I may treat myself to a mini milk too (2syn)
If I can't get the car out at lunch I'll do some walking up to town and buy some veggies but not all the shopping I need to get!************************************

Well done salduck and daisy
Thinking about celery soup for lunch as I got cheap (39p) celery from aldi this morning. Might check out recipe for Hairy Bikers steak n gravy for tea - maman I might be calling on you for recipe but I am sure I have it stored somewhere.
Wet and miserable here today.
Thanks for the heads up fay re the eggs (binding). I do have problems in that dept and can get through quite a few eggs. Will monitor more closely as well as drinking enough fluids.
Have a good day everyone

Hugs to you Beanie & BEG.
Well done salduck, djenks and cte and other losers (including you Amy, I know it wasn't what you wanted but at least you shed what you put on)
I'm thrilled with my loss this week - 3.5lbs - I've finally passed the 1 stone mark and am just 1lb off club 10. Really pleased with that.
And just to report that the peanut hottie with quark was absolutely gorgeous!!0 -

Well done on your fantastic loss this week and on your 1st shiney :T:T:T. That Club 10 award has your name on it for next week.
Have been meaning to try the peanut hottie with quark - must remember to give it a go tonight. How much of the peanut stuff did you use?
Celery soup has just been blended and DH sampled it and he says it tastes like ..................... wait for it .............. celery soup - result I would say :rotfl:
Defrosted the steak for the HB recipe for tonight - won't be bothering you maman I managed to unearth it.
Been trying to watch last night's Corrie for the past couple of hours and so far I am about half way through with all the stops and starts.
Wonder if any heads will roll for the Madonna incident last night.

How many syns do you have a day.
Just wondering. I was told I can have up to 20 ?greentiger wrote: »Hello, sanjay (think I missed you popping in), amy and smedley. Have a seat and a chat.
meg, I’m sure I can smell that bacon!
You'll be happy to hear, maman, that DH (and I) have been watching Matt Le Tissier's 100 goals on Sky, several times this week. We keep missing the start, so we'll have to keep watching, lol!
Well, today I’ve spent my syns on the leftover pot roast & veg (2), some toast (4) with a hexa laughing cow light triangle, 3 spoonsful of Ambrosia light custard (2) = 8. That leaves me the luxury of just about anything for supper, so I’ll have 2 Garibaldi biscuits – I know how to live the high life!
Thursday’s menu will be
Breakfast: hexb muesli, mixed berries, splash milk
Lunch: assorted vegetable frittata
Dinner: marinated lamb leg steak with potato salad
Snacks: choose from e.g. hexa cheese, Garibaldi biscuits (2 syns each), Special K cracker crisps (4 syns), toast & jam (6 syns), chocolate biscuit (6 syns), Ryvita (1 syn)Debt £10k , HMRC £3K old debt £4k Jan 2021

Hi Guys!!
Still here.... Still plodding along. Not really been posting much but still lurking. I think the latest run of poor health has knocked my metal health back a bit, and posting just seems like too much of an effort. Anyway.... Been half/half sticking to plan. Much better than I had been! My new weigh day is a Friday so fingers crossed tomorrow I will be able to report the first loss in over 3 weeks!
Hope everyone is well. Well done to all the losers this week! Keep on plodding with me to those struggling. Remember, we aren't alone!
Thanks Shala for keeping up the thread management.

I try to have around 5 - 10 syns a day fay. I have proved to myself that by cutting them right down doesn't mean I will lose any faster. There is still something lodged in my head though that tells me that if I don't use my syns I will get a greater loss. Have been wondering about one of the huge Aunt Bessies Yorkshires with LM Rosemary and Red Onion Sausages and onion gravy but the yorkie is 14.5 syns alone - might have a go at flexi synning at the weekend.
Celery soup was a success :j:j:j Recipe was from BBC Good Food
We swapped the oil for Frylight and made 3 servings for 2 of us and it made a decent bowl full each

My sister got me and my mom a SW dinner to try. I had the sweet potato curry and thought it was nice but I could easily have made it myself (and probably a bit nicer!) Mom had the beef in gravy with veg mash which was absolutely gorgeous! My nearest Iceland is a 2 hour round trip though so can't see myself purchasing them anytime soon!
My local butcher has started making a lovely range of Syn free food so I'll be eating a LOT of that. So far I've tried his meatballs (98% fat free mince with homemade syn free sauce), beef burger, lasagne (I don't want to know what's in the "white sauce"! Looks suspiciously like quark to me) and wholemeal wrap pizza. Everything so far has been gorgeous
Started my detox this morning so no need to worry about menus! No proper food until Saturday. But there's a pretty decent list of free fruit and veg so I'll survive (I hope!)Back on the slimming world wagon 04.01.18
