How does this strike you lovelies as a Veggie eesp day? (Part way through eating it)
B: Branflakes & Milk (HEB & some of an HEA)
S: Alpen light (3)
L: SW mini quiches with leek, courgette & pepper served with a side of the rest of the veg as it didn't all fit in the baking dish and mixed bean salad.
Wholemeal roll and butter (HEB & 5)
S: satsumas & appleQuorn fillets baked in a load of veg in a passata sauce. Seriously, it's loads of veg, probably easily 50/50 SP
Drinks: coffee, tea (using rest of HEA), water, Vimto with dinner (2)
The only flaw I can see is that there is sweetcorn in both the mixed bean salad and the veg sauce for dinner, but then I love the stuff and I don't care if it's only free!
I think you will have to syn the quorn fillet as its only chunks and mince on SP
I get the impression once you start adding in things that arent Speed or Protein you arent following an SP day, so loose the associated benefits. From the stuff ive read, syns are better than free food if following SP. So eating sweetcorn turns it into an EE day, as its Free. Whereas chocolate is ok, as it has a quantified calorie/fat value that is synd0 -
Weekends are not good for me; particularly weekends like this where my dad surprises me with a lunch breakfast at their house then I miss lunch but end up snacking on the baking I do (banana and raisin cakes) and bf has ordered a take away (only told me when I said I was going to start tea!) as a treat for me as he is away next week! bah
Tomorrow we are off to a retail park as we are looking for new bedroom furniture; I will eat breakfast before we go (ready brek made with ss milk), I won't eat lunch out unless we're back home, tea is gammon - I'm going to cook it in the slow cooker and serve with a ton of veggies, mini roasties (1.5syn for 100g i think?) and yorkshires for bf.
today may have been poop food wise but I have managed a short class on zumba world party (approx just over 200 kcals burnt) which I mostly enjoyed (apart from 1 song) with bf away most days next week I plan on doing a short class (approx 20minutes) every night Mon-Thurs so hopefully that will help my weight loss efforts************************************

Aaargh! Just when I thought I was getting the hang of it :rotfl:
I'm butting up against the same problem people are having with yoghurts - you can't syn the fillets as they are free. They are also pretty much identical to the chunks that do count as a P.
I think I'll forget this new fangled stuff and go back to Green...:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Hello everyone, I'd love to join your thread if I may please!
I tried to do SW by myself before with some success but let it all go back again. This time I've signed up online to keep myself focussed. No group near me unfortunately, but hopefully online membership will do the trick.
I'm another veggie and disappointed there isn't more info available online about green days as I really appreciated the extra HEA, but I'm going to see how I get on. I've also decided to quit the booze for January, so that should be a big help in keeping me on track (if I manage a whole month!!)
I would love to join the challenge and hope I can lose 12lbs. I've got almost 4st to lose, so I think that should be realistic for my first 8 weeks x0 -
haven't read recent posts as am in mad rush .... But wanted people to know that Daily Mirror today has nice SW Lifeplan book free inside plus vouchers for £35 off SW online or SW membership at group for just £5. Just nipped out and bought mine.
There's also something else SW in Sunday Mirror tomorrow.0 -

I think there is the option to syn stuff that is free using the calculator. But SW dont want to come out and categorically say this, as it means actually there is a cap on Free food.
Hence this new SP booster, because people are gorging on veg/carbs and not losing weight, so they need something to boost losses and keep people coming back0
