I've just read the whole thread from the start, again and every few posts someone says

'I don't get it, I don't like the new plan'

and then a few posts later Maman explains it all. And then again, And then again. She has explained it about 10 times I swear! And never ONCE getting stroppy, just calmly explaining it again.

Can't you just tell she's a teacher???!!!!! Love it!!

Just go through it again Maman, I've nearly got it ;)

Help with SP, it's quite difficult :-(

I had too much P for breakfast (bacon, mushroom & cheese omelette with baked beans) & all S for lunch (1 chopped Apple & 2 satsumas chopped in skimmed milk yogurt).
The cheese was a HEb & the yogurt from my syns.
    But it's really hard to half & half S & P :-(
    I'm having a tuna salad for dinner, so that's an easy S & P.

I think it's going to be pretty difficult to get the 50/50 balance at every meal, but as long as it averages out over the day it should be fine. I very rarely eat protein for breakfast so I'm going to aim for 50/50 over the course of the day.

Thanks shala I saw that in book but it doesn't actually say sandwich filler on the carton/tub. Does say weight watchers ProPoints 2 per serving. But that means nothing to me seeing we doing SW ;)

Midweek it will be ok, I'll do the SP soup for lunch.
I'll have porridge for breakfast - HEB
Use milk HEA for porridge & tea.
Dinner will be meat/fish & veg or salad.
I'll use some syns for yogurt.

It's just always a bit more arkward at weekends.
I will need to prepare & plan better.

Yes I think you could be right about making the day balance rather than every meal of it's not possible.

Shala the veggies were really nice in the stir fry.. Used a courgette and 2 carrots, they needed to be done on the larger blade.. I added a little water to the plastic tub and microwaved them for a couple of minutes before adding to the stir fried veggies and sauce

  • Well done on your 4 stone loss Mich! Welcome Daisy!

Lost 2lbs this week so very pleased with that seeing as I was only fully on plan for 2 days the last week.

I'm not sure whether to join the challenge or not. I'm still hoping I will be losing a little weight here and there despite some added baby weight. May go for a smallish target. Any thoughts?

    Today's plan went like this:
    B - Muller greek (0.5), banana
L - LO spicy chicken quinoa, clementine
S - 2 mini stollen (7), Ham and cheese half sandwich (HEB, HEA, 1 syn spread) sml biscuit (3)
D - Jamaican casserole (tsp flour 0.5), brocolli, Sorbet (5)

So, 2 over on syns but could me worse. The stollen just jumped in my mouth when I wasn't looking!

    Hi All!

New to MSE as you can see, and kind of new to SW... i've played with it for a while but not seriously. Bucking my ideas up for 2015 and have rejoined with a new determination, I have a hefty amount to lose, so I'll be around for the long haul! :j

Welcome, I also have a lot to lose, a whole lot  and SW is great for long term, healthy eating. You'll get great support here.
