jock, how dare you go to a weight loss class and lose weight! :rotfl: joking aside, even though men generally lose weight quicker (muscle mass) it still takes effort and i think men can tend to be more focussed, and that helps with weight loss.. you've done incredibly well and don't forget you walked over 20 miles at the weekend, i bet the lady that was being snidey didn't even walk a quarter of that way - i hope you mentioned that along with the pizza!!
If you want to stay at class, and need to stay at class when you reach target then do it, don't let some bitter person put you down! She can only affect you if you let her..
Matron - our scales at the doctors and SW are different but i've been told they are both calibrated... someone's fibbing :rotfl: fingers crossed for your massive loss next week

Shala yes pineapple freezes very well. I usually just peel and slice then freeze in poly bag, but today I had the kiwis to use so chucked them in together.Slimming World at target0 -
Hi everyone,
Shala - thanks for your previous post, completely my fault I missed the chart and hadn't even realised that I made the target, so am very chuffed.
Jocko - I'm so sorry you've been made to feel bad about losing such brilliant amounts - you totally deserve it and people need to be mature enough to understand that it's a personal journey. I'd dearly love to be dropping big numbers every week but it's just not realistic. I often feel envious of others, but that's my issue not theirs.
Amy - Hi!
Trying an ESSP day today ahead of the weigh in tomorrow.
B: Porridge with 200ml milk (A/B), raspberries & strawberries
S: Nectarine, KP Skips (4)
L: HM Quorn chilli with loads of veg in it, pudding will be quark with some peanut hottie (need to check the amount before I add syns)
S: Pear
T: going to make Saag Chana Masala from one of the SW magazines. Not tried it before and I've only got frozen spinach but I'm giving it a go!
S: Dark choc kit kat (5)
Not sure what my other HEX B will be, maybe brazil nuts.0 -

Frozen spinach is brilliant in curries - I always use it.

Just done a long reply and lost it:mad:
So will just say well done to the Slimmers of the Week:T
Was going to have an SP day but then realised I'd have to make it an EE day as only have bananas & grapes in and neither are S! Also have some couscous left from yesterday to use up.
So the plan today is:
B - porridge, Mullerlight, banana
L - LO couscous with salady bits, ham, small piece of brie (need to check syns), beetroot
D - HM turkey curry with cauliflower rice. Will also probably need to make some rice for DH, but fingers crossed he'll be happy with the cauli rice!
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Syns - brie

Hi there, I'm new here and just joined SW Online...
Looking forward to reading more stories and tips here.
I downloaded the Free Foods, a + b extras and Syns leaflets.
Have I got this correct?
Chicken Breast - Free food
Stir fry Veg - Free Food
Noodles 1 Syn / 100g
So this meal with 100g noodles would be 1 syn?
King Prawns - Free food
Sea Food Mix - Free food
Passata - Free food
Tomato double Concentrate - Free food
Herbs Dried - Free food
Pasta Dry Boiled 1.5 Syn / 100g
So this meal with 100g Pasta would be 1 syn?
While I am waiting for the books to be delivered, I have borrowed a 10 year Food Directory, it mentions king prawns, seafood, chicken breast, boiled eggs as been Free and Syned depending on if it is a Red or Green day, does this still apply?
If this still applies how can they be listed as free foods in the leaflet?
I thank you for any clarification.SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0
