Shala, glad to report a 1lb LOSS sorry it's not red.:j:j:j

I am surprised really because of my mishaps .Well, not really mishaps 'cause I knew what I was doing. But, I will forget what I did and I have drawn a line through it. I shall go back to my usual Way of life.
Sometimes, though, I get so sick of eating and I am afraid to cut it down. Anyone any ideas of what I can do.?:D

Hope everyone else has losses this week. Good Luck to you all x

    Morning :)

Loving the substitution for Muller light Beanie, what did you do with it?

Well done Daisy, although when I read you were going to bingers I did wonder if it was some kind of support group for people with an eating disorder (binge - ers!).

Well done Wizkid, Hwoolgar and anyone else with losses that I've missed, and welcome back Flutterby and anyone else that's been away.

Well I haven't done very well against my target and I'm not likely to achieve it now with only 8 days to go so I've decided that in addition to the target I'll set for the next challenge I'm going to set myself a target for a mini challenge of my own.

DH and I will be returning to the UK on 25th March and I want to have lost 2 stone by Friday 27th March. That's another 7lbs so very achievable if I set my mind to it.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, back later.

    LL :)

That's good wiz.:T I'm not sure what you mean about sick of eating. Do you mean too much food? If you have a small appetite there's no need to have large portions and you don't have to build in snacks if you don't want them. What really matters is that you eat the right healthy things.

    Great losses hwoolgar :T

I won't be on the curry cos I'm veggie but that did look way too sloppy for my liking.

That reminds me that I have the opportunity to go for curry later this week for a work social. I think I'm going to give it a miss this time because I'd really like to hit target sometime soon and I think curries will be better when I am maintaining ;)

I think you're wise to keep up the Speed food even on Green. I've not tried them myself but near here there are two Indian restaurants that cook SW. I might try a take away at some point.

Morning have had a few days away and not back until Tuesday. But more difficult to stay on plan as living and eating at someone else's house. They eat fairly healthily so am just not snacking on rubbish and sticking to three reasonable healthy meals with fruit in between.
Will see what the scales say on Wednesday evening at weigh in x

Eating at someone else's home is even harder than restaurants IMO. When someone's gone to the trouble of cooking you something you can hardly turn your nose up or start criticising how much fat they use.

A buffet is the best of both worlds whether at someone's home or in a venue. Sounds like you made excellent choices caterina.

That gives you just over a month to lose 7lbs lois. It's doable but suppose it'll depend how many farewell drinks you have before you come back!!;) Do you think it'll be easier to follow the plan back in UK when you don't have such a 'holiday' lifestyle?

daisy, I wouldn't make myself have a HEB just for the sake of it. I'd just have the M&S bar as a sort of substitute but count the syns to be on the safe side. HEXs are syns really it's just that they're built into the plan to make sure you have a balance of food groups. One day without won't hurt.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: not even hungry but probably JP or may just snack on fruit
D: Hairy Bikers braised steak (with mushrooms and onions), chips, green beans, asparagus
Syns: half Crunchie at football, weekend wine (hopefully celebratory) and probably oven chips (1.5 for 100g).
  • +4lb please Shala:eek: I have no regrets though! Had a wonderful few days away with my mum. I've been pampered to within an inch of my life. And every naughty thing I ate was TOTALLY worth it! I do feel a bit unwell now though, really bloated, and feel like I put on way more than I actually did. Back on plan tomorrow and I'm starting a detox on Thursday. I've never done a detox before so looking forward to seeing does it actually make me feel better. Hope everyone has a successful week :)

  • LoisLane that made me laugh out loud! It's just a nickname that we gave it years ago and it's stuck but I never thought about the fact that you guys probably wouldn't know what it was!!! Still laughing now at the binge-ers...I could probably do with going for that too :rotfl:

Maman that's sort of what I planned to do but ended up having 65g of prunes instead...wow. TMI but I don't feel bloated any more, I think I might have that as my HEXB more often!!!!!

It is doable Maman, although having only lost 5lbs in the last month I really do need to focus my mind. Farewell drinks could be a problem but I'm quite good at drinking alcohol slowly and having diet soft drinks in addition so I can handle it.

Eating out is more of a challenge, but after tonight's dinner and dance there's only one more 3 course meal in the diary, plus lunch out with the quiz team which will be just 2 courses and SW friendly.

Being back in the UK will have new challenges as DH and I run a shop/cafe/takeaway on a caravan site so lots and lots of temptation to be resisted. The main challenge is not to eat things rather than throw them away - it's very hard to forecast what will sell and some of our products like pasties, bread and cakes have a short shelf life and we both hate throwing food away!

Then there's the sweets, chocolate, crisps and ice cream... is it any wonder I need to lose weight. :rotfl:

shala & Lois ~~ I had one piece of the bannoffee pie, did not enjoy it & put the rest in the food bucket :A
I now have the mullerlight bannofee youg as there was a voucher in this edition of the SW magazine which you could use to get one half price at the coop.

I've been considering it for ages and I think now's the perfect time. I'm going with the Clean 9. I'll post how it goes. Hopefully I have the will power to stick with it for the 9 days. I know a good few people who have done it and have heard no negative feedback (apart from aloe vera juice is vile!), so it can't be too hard to stick to.
