That actually looks really nice, and I like a bit of sauce with curry, but I would have had rice with it to mop up.

    Are you doing SP?

    LL :)

I think so lol. Had a jacket potato with mushrooms and boiled mashed egg for dinner :)
  • I wanted to get involved in this forum as love reading it but life is so busy at moment. Return to work in Jan. My son is 8 months and daughter aged 5. Time just disappears. I will try harder as so want to!

Shala I have somehow missed 3 weigh ins even though it feels like 5 mins since I was last on:
    2.2.15 +0.5lb (oh no!)
    9.2.15 - 2lb (yippee!)
    16.2.15 -2.5lb (yipeee!)

Today I went to Iceland and bought the meatballs, sausages, beef in sauce times 2, chicken tikka times 2, chicken in tomato and the meatball pasta dish. I got to use the 2 for 1 vouchers I got in class so it was money saving and came to only £20. The ready meals are for when I am just too tired to cook!!

Today we had slimming world coked breakfast and the sausages were good, my 5 year old daughter enjoyed them very much!

Congrats to everyone on their losses people are doing so well. My loss is slow but I want the weight gone forever !

My worst weight was 19stone 5 and at my last weigh in I was 14 stone 5.5 so hope this week to loose at least 0.5 (hopefully more) so I can pass the 5 stone milestone!

It wouldn't have been SP if you had a jacket potato :( you can't have carbs on an SP day..

I don't like the look of all that sauce either tweets! I'm not a saucy person ;) so I'd have done the same as you!

Hwoolgar (:rotfl: my predictive text on the iPad just changed your name to hooligan:eek:) - no problems, I've added it all in for you.. Well done on your losses :T

Beanie - :rotfl: but did you eat the pie?

Crabapple - I'm sure it's just an excuse about the cows :p I think we should try and clear their names! If the cows are fat in this country then how is it we can eat beef free on SW? I think it's just cheaper in Thailand or wherever it is they source it.. i feel bad calling them fat let's call them "cuddly" :rotfl:

We had the beef stew thing earlier, from the ready meal recipe.. It was ok, too much onion in it for me. I do like the addition of balsamic vinegar and Tom puree though so I'll do that in my normal stew recipe :D

Managed to stay on track today but it's been a struggle.. Hope everyone else has been ok x

shala's right that it's not a SP day with a potato but your dinner was almost there except for the yogurt in the curry. I think it helps to be mindful of how many carbs we're having.

I like sauce but that looked far too runny for me. I made a lamb hotpot tonight from another watery SW recipe. It did taste good but yet again I had to pour some 'sauce' off part way through cooking to make it work.

Football tomorrow so I need to get organised in the morning. I'm fancying the Hairy Bikers steak as it's so easy to heat up.

Oh well, post-birthday party and am stuffed, that's what carbs do, they stuff you! I ate all the right things, rice (lots of, boiled), veg, salad, beetroots, beans. Did not touch anything dangerous or addictively moreish (cheese, bread, cake -which looked amazing, straight from Patisserie Valerie!).

Ok, the food will have had some dressing on, so I will have certainly gone over the syns allowance, difficult to calculate, but it was all ok food, free minus a bit of dressing. The stew will have had minimal fat, I know for sure that the veg curries had hardly any fat because I heard the lady who cooked them say so, also on a weight loss programme herself. The salad had some oil but probably not much over the syn allowance.

However, I ate quite a bit of all these free foods, even if they had no extra added to them I felt really stuffed. This was an exceptional event, birthday party and lots of different bits and pieces to taste, but surely it can't be true that someone can lose weight eating a ton of rice and beans and veg curries, especially rice!

Tomorrow SP for sure, no (starchy) carbs to pass my lips, in fact probably Monday and Tuesday too, so I can go to WI with a smile on my lips and my head held high.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Good Morning :)

I don't really eat meat. Think this week I have eaten the most meat since starting SW because the meals have meat in. :)

I am one meal down  DS came visiting Friday for the weekend and he asked if he could have the Singapore Noodles meal for his tea last night . I said yes seeing I had already tested that one and wasn't mithered on eating it again in same week . DS enjoyed it and wasn't at all bothered when I explained it was a SW meal even though he doesn't need to lose weight

    Great losses hwoolgar :T

I won't be on the curry cos I'm veggie but that did look way too sloppy for my liking.

That reminds me that I have the opportunity to go for curry later this week for a work social. I think I'm going to give it a miss this time because I'd really like to hit target sometime soon and I think curries will be better when I am maintaining ;)

4 days on plan now. Yesterday wasn't brilliant but I think I'm okay. Had a couple over on syns but other days have been under so I think I've accounted for that (bag of crisps was not even needed, I just seemed to inhale them :o). I also didn't have much speed food yesterday but then it occurred to me that as I'm doing Green I don't technically have to stick to the 1/3 although most days I would easily get that. Will try and get more veg in me today :D

Morning have had a few days away and not back until Tuesday. But more difficult to stay on plan as living and eating at someone else's house. They eat fairly healthily so am just not snacking on rubbish and sticking to three reasonable healthy meals with fruit in between.
Will see what the scales say on Wednesday evening at weigh in x

Yesterdays trip to the bingers was a success, first ever full house and won £100!! :j:beer:

Although by the time it had been split 3 ways and you factored in the cost of the books I was only about £20 up lol. Sped off to Marks's afterwards and got LOADS of speed fruit to munch on. No alcohol while we were there, I supped on diet coke and managed to resist the steaming plates of chips and curry sauce being munched on across from me!! Really wanted to get out for a walk today but it's flipping freezing so doesnt look likely

B: Massive bowl of speed fruit (plums pear satsumas raspberries) and yogurt
L Late brunch, 2 x fried egg (frylight), potato cubes and LM veggie sausage (1 syn)
D HM veggie chilli, wholemeal rice (2 syns for chilli, one for rice)

Syns will be the "guilt free" snack bar things I got yesterday out of Marks's, 6/7 syns each and sooooooo yummy!! No HEX's in there, think HEXa will be babybel lights and about to dig out the book for inspiration for the b.....last nights bread roll was lovely but I feel so bloated today I wont be doing that again in a hurry!!!!!

Have a great day everyone xxxx
