Daisy please don't be gutted I understand how you are feeling.

Christmas week I came down with the bug Christmas eve I have never felt that ill since I don't know when. Weighed Christmas day normal time 3pm and I had lost 4 and half lbs . I was good the week after following SW and weighed New years day and I had put on 2 and half lbs and I was :( week after I STS and was even more :( but week after was :D I lost 3 lbs. So try not to be gutted it happens to us all and will come off. HTH

Thanks Tweets, it does help. I know I didn't deserve the 6lb loss from the week before but it did knock the wind right out of my sails last night!! I have been good this week, even measuring the milk for HEXA (which I confess I just normally guesstimate!) I'm hoping that all the good work of last week will be in the bank for next week!

Re the slimming world meals, I agree with jockosjungle, I'm not really sure why they are doing it. I will probably get the pasta ones to try but I'm never normally near Iceland and I doubt they'll be worth going out your way for. My consultant slept out at our local Iceland store last night!!

Having an EE day but haven't decided what I'm having yet so no menu. Have a fab day folks!!xxx

Maman / Shala, I too found I was a bit anti social when I was losing my weight, I allowed myself one meal off a week and if anybody asked or tried to tempt me into anymore than that it didn’t happen. Now I do just enjoy myself when I eat out or go out and usually have what I want within reason. I was super strict with myself whilst losing the bulk. Need to get a bit of that strictness back so I can stop giving this woman my fivers. Shala if you don’t feel like going and your not really interested don’t go!!!
I like the dress too, very pretty!
Jocks - Your body will probably tell you when its had enough and will probably settle around a certain weight give or take a few lbs.
    When does our Challenge end?
Daisy could just be a bit of water retention and your body holding onto water now after being ill. Put it out of your head and don’t worry about it. Your better going on an average reading for the month as our bodies mess around so much and we don’t always get a proper reading due to fluctuations for various reasons. That’s why are chart is so great here – thanks Shala!

I don't really know why I did this but I came back from an early weigh in and ordered a Papa John's pizza.[/QUOTE]:rotfl:

This made me laugh!! I must say to myself about 10 times a day I don't know why I've done that.
I think sometimes thought its go to have a reminder of how you used to eat and feel a bit yuck afterwards and it just reminds you of how much you have changed and how you don't want to eat that way so take it as a good thing!

People camping outside Iceland Stores - really why!!

Good luck with your Ready Meal experiment tweets!

Caught up finally! Congrats to all the losers, and especially to lush on SOTW - nearly 18 stone lighter which is brilliant (although my personal contribution to that total is rather poor :rotfl:)

I looked last night at WI at the packets for the ready meals and the butternut squash curry looked really nice so I might investigate that. There's an Iceland near my work so I can get there easily. As a veggie there's only that and the tomato and basil pasta and I really can't see the point of paying for something I could knock up in a few minutes at home!

One of our group hit target last night which was brilliant - there's been a good few since I've been going but none had as much to lose as me. I hope to join them in the next couple of months if I can just get my head back on straight.

Not eaten yet today so off to have my branflakes so I don't get hungry at the cafe I'm due at mid-morning. They have nice cakes...

I'm thinking of doing homity pie for tea as I have all the ingredients (for my version) in already so won't need to go shopping.

Morning all, and thanks for the well wishes tweets

Am working from home today as I feel really pants. I just want to be sat stinking on the sofa to be honest.

I've not yet eaten today, am starting to get hungry but oddly not in the mood to eat, lol

Need to have a think about dinner too as that may dictate if it's an EE or SP day. Am thinking EE for the easy carbs though

  • Not gonna make swimming today. Too much housework to do and don't wanna wear myself out. Started the day off well with a bowl of shreddies tho.... Instead of a couple of biscuits and packet of crisps that I have been eating! Lol.
