Thank you Lois Lane and Maman, it all makes sense (what you say, more than what the books say). I was pleased to did over that the Lindamac red onion sausages are free! Only to find that my local MrA was out of stock. Bummer, but I bought their meat free meatballs, only to discover that my fluffy cheerful consultant has not given me a PIN to log on the website. I shall text her but meanwhile, please, could someone find me the value for MrA meat-free meatballs. Thank you.

To be had with vegetables and tomato sauce, might even push the boat out and add a small amount of quinoa on the side.

Maman re. blueberries, it's what I have in the freezer at the moment, when I go shopping properly I shall get other fruits too.

Thank you all for your patience and help!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

No not pre cooked need to be done in oven or grilled. I thought they were very nice, a proper meaty sausage, 79% Pork.

The Facebook groups seem to be giving them the thumbs down! But I'm glad you enjoyed, think they're too expensive for me! I quite like the Sainsburys BGTY ones. Reviews will always be mixed bag! I can't wait for Tweets reviews

Oh Shala Ive got that awful feeling you get the night before weigh in when you know you've been naughty.

And here we go again, Chocolate Thursday it is again, I've done it again, just the bread and the sweets caught me out this week. Must try harder next week. Least I'm off the sweets for Lent anyway.

Annoyed with myself as I was doing so well. Back on it now and stopping my nonsense
  • Right, my head is officially back in the game! Have decided to cut out the bread of the next week, up the speed and try and do 10,000 steps a day in the next week - surely that'll help! Thanks everyone for your kind words, love this thread!

B: Weetabix and Banana (hex and B)
L: Baked spud, tuna and salad cream light (1 syn) cheese (5 syns) wee tot of marge (1 syn)
D: Quorn chilli with M&S wholegrain instant rice (1 syn for whole pack) and big salad

Lots of speed fruit and yogurt to snack on, still have 7 syns left, not sure what I'll do with them!

Meatballs are 3 for the 400g pack caterina.

I do agree that if you have old books and the plan worked in the past then that's fine. But recipes do change on some foods and also SW are responding to members who find their weight slows down or too many STS. I really believe this about fruit in sugar.
So 'old' plans and old quantities might work but it really is worth looking at the new bits. I found I was hovering at the top of target range since May but since I've been more mindful of potato portions I'm in the lower end where I like to be.:)

Good plan daisy. If you're not having bread will you have other HEB choices? I can't stress enough how much Speed food (particularly veg) seems to speed weightloss for me (pardon the pun:o). I know you have snacks but you haven't any with your breakfast or lunch today. Thanks for the tip about the rice. It might be useful for some to go with the ready meals.

I had loads of speed fruit today and I had a large salad with both my lunch and dinner, lots of tomato cucumber grated carrot and lettuce. I think you're right though, I've not been having much other veg. My HEX's were my weetabix and milk, I'm sticking with EE for the time being, I never seem to be very successful with Green Plan. Although I usually use my extra hexb for bread so maybe thats what the problem is - bread just doesn't seem to agree with me. Which is a shame because I LOVE it!!!

The rice was lovely, much less rubbery than uncle bens.

Maman - I've been having a quick read the last few days just not had to time post.

Just back from Wisley - lovely day, bright but chilly. The butterflies were beautiful, the colours of some of them were amazing. Not sure I'll go again as it wasn't really any different to the last time I went. Of course, at this time of year there aren't many flowers - just snowdrops and crocuses really.

Had a good day in France yesterday, apart from the 1.5 hour delay on the way out!!!! Had a lovely meal whilst there but definitely not SW friendly. Just glad I'd been good Thursday and Friday and not too bad Sat, Sun & Mon!

Definitely expecting a gain this week after the non-SW food & drink yesterday and today! Won't post exactly what I've had! It's WI tomorrow so will draw a line and get back on it.

    Hello,

Thanks for the syn value, Maman, I also texted the consultant and she told me where to find the pin, she had written in the book but forgot to tell me.

I saw there is quite a lot of meat-free free food out there, it should help me a lot.

Eventually dinner was 5 meatballs (1/4 pack) in tinned tomato, leek and bean stew (tinned borlotti, 1/2 can for two portions), spiced with chilli, turmeric and bouillon powder. Lots of steam veg, then pudding was the remaining 6 almonds (hex) with 40g reduced fat cheddar (hex) and I counted 2 syns for the oil mist, probably overestimated but better safe than sorry.

The first day of the rest of my life is done. Good night.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Evening all! A 2lb loss for me this week :)

I just realised that I have my HEB and all my syns left, so i've made myself 2 slices of Nutella in toast, which tasted amazing! :D
