Hi everyone , had a pretty crap night last night
Went to cinema choose butterfly chicken low syn and small rice but had red pepper and pittas.
Oh bother Fay you've just reminded me that when I was at Nandos with my mum we had red pepper hummus and pitta bread. How did I forget that? Selective eating clearly :rotfl:
Today was really good until dinner. I just left it too late to make, really, and ended up having a baked potato with my hexa of cheese, and beans. And then obviously I threw all caution to the wind and gave myself a tablespoon of butter. All within syns, but no veg, and now I've got two chicken breasts to cook ANYWAY because I thought my bf was eating with me but he wasn't and I probably should have just sucked it up and made the full meal instead of hijacking the quite small potato I'd slammed in the oven to make potato skins with. Oh well, onwards and upwards, at least I did some body magic (the gym was what made me late :A ).
Tomorrow I'm going to have:
B: overnight oats (hexb) with an overload of mixed berries, and a couple of satsumas to take to my seminar to eat in the break
L: chicken salad
T: something involving chickenProbably chicken, roasted peppers and a salad.
S: mullerlight, pineapple, grapes (I keep 'forgetting' each week they've been downgraded).
Hope the ready meals are delicious! Probably won't get any myself because I have no idea where the nearest Iceland is, and they're probably not particularly conducive to a student budget.
Caterina, welcome! Everyone is so so lovely and helpful here, as they've already demonstrated. Your weight will come off in no time with you treating today as the first day of the rest of your life :T
Also, congrats on your loss blinkered0 -

I do agree that if you have old books and the plan worked in the past then that's fine. But recipes do change on some foods and also SW are responding to members who find their weight slows down or too many STS. I really believe this about fruit in sugar.
Or sugar in fruit...:o
Slipped yesterday.... Twins wanted to go on the 'train', so we said that if they have their dinner we can go for a trip. DD finished all, but DS was a pain in the... and just wouldn't swallow his food. He would shew the same bite for 15min and more without swallowing! So, DD and I went out, took a tram to the next town (love having free local travel with my work paying for it all!). Decided to have a crepe and a coffee, went to see a pet shop and got some more food for our fishes, and went home back on the tram. Only after eating half a crepe I remembered my pledge to have no wheat/bread for the lent... Fed some more to DD, and drawing a line under that. Need to be wiser...
Anyway, OH staed with DS and apparently he took one more bite and chewed it for half an hour without swallowing... so all he had for dinner was a bit of banana and two kiwis. We really are struggling with feeding those kids!!!!!!
Anyway, menu today:
B: eggs and ham
L: quark with yogurt and raisins, finn crisp (I know, it is 2 HeB, or I syn one of them, so I guess 4 syns)pork and veg stew that OH made the other day. (well, more veg than pork...)
