I've never tried overnight oats myself but I'm sure some people warm them up. I think maybe denise does.0 -
I found I got a bit anti-social when I was getting to target shala. I tried having on plan meals which was OK in a steak place but one day I was on a day out up in London and ended up with a very boring omelette and tired salad for dinner. I decided then and there to go for occasional off plan meals instead. It's easier when you're close to target because no one is going to gain several stone overnight it just messes up one WI the you MUST draw that line and get back to healthy eating. To me it's all about being in control.
Thanks maman, I've decided i'm not going... I know it's going to look like i'm miserable but I'm already going to have put on 1-2lbs this week so don't want to make it worse, upset myself with it and push myself back to the dark side.
I looked at the menu and I really can't sit there eating a salad whilst everyone around me is eating chips/burgers/pizza etc.. I have control at the time but i'm likely to feel "cheated" and come home and stuff myself sick
Btw Lois - i'm a short*rse so it wouldn't have been me you were thinking ofdress is lovely!
Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
ETA - link for the dress hereOff to enjoy pancakes, for anyone else that is having them tonight!
Lent starts tomorrow!
Love that dress Lois. I'm another taller lady at 5ft 10 and I always wear dresses and love bright colours and prints. That one is right up my street. Its sometimes difficult to find dresses that are long enough. I love the skater dresses and short shifts but find they aren't long enough to cover my dignity when I bend over!!!
Feeling a bit ropey today. Fending off an impending migraine and tummy is doing flip flops. Had a chicken dinner that I plated up last night in the fridge for my tea but didn't fancy it. Made a mountain of pancakes for DH and had a tiny one with sugar for my tea, not sure it was a good idea as tummy is roiling even more now0 -
SOTW* is.... :T:j:TLUSHLIFESAVER:T:j:T with a loss of 3.0lbs!!
Congratulations!
*SOTW is the person who has lost the most weight this week, but also had a loss or sts last week.
We also have a few target hitters this week - bellkat again, hitting her new target and Seabee :T:T:T
220lbs we need to lose in the next two week to meet our targets... come on now
I've had another cull of people who haven't posted their results in the last two weeks.. please let me know if I've took you off mistakenly and i'll add you back onMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Well done Jocko :T - you're still getting great losses, how much more do you want to lose? Have you decided on a maintenance strategy, because the problem might be continuing to lose weight when you want to stop, rather than putting it back on again.
I don't know what my final target is, I'm still pretty fat which is hidden by the fact I still wear my fatter clothes. While it is still going so well, I don't see the need to stop. I do wonder how I will stop, as I either seem to lose a couple of pounds or gain because I've gone well off plan.
I guess I'll experiment, maybe get a takeaway one day a week, I'm a good way off worrying about it yet though0 -
Evening all
Urgh, what a truly awful day at work. Been on the go with work issues from 7.30am - 6.30pm and on my way home still.
Hardly had time to eat yet and yesterday's 'feeling slightly off' feels like it's turning into a cold. I have fakeaway curry for tea, am really hoping I can still swallow when I get home as I'm struggling at the mo
Food for today:
B: banana (at 11.30... Was supposed to be weetabix but I didn't manage to stop and eat)
Lunch: pasta with sauce and meat (1syn for gravy in sauce)
Sn: apple(will be) fakeaway chicken curry with rice
Haven't had a b choice and only 3 dashes of milk for tea during the day so still have those to play with plus syns.
I may not manage them though today as I suspect it will be dinner and bed for me lolApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Happy to report a 1 Lb loss. Hopefully the start of bigger things to go!When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0
