  • Hello everyone! Happy belated birthdays, anniversaries etc. Tweets, Poppy is beautiful! I'm so in love with people's dogs, desperately want my own so have to live vicariously through photos haha. Outoffunds I hope everything improves and he gets better! Durham, you might not like what you saw in the ball photos but I imagine you'd have liked it even less if you hadn't been trying so hard with SW. Keep at it :T

I miraculously lost 3lbs this week. I was really really good all week (went to the gym 4 times), but thought I'd ruined everything on Fri and Sat. Friday I flexi-synned but went over anyway. Saturday, I went out, my gin syns went straight out of the window and I (oh god) ordered a Dominos at 3am _pale_ . Fortunately (very unfortunately actually :rotfl: ) very little, if any, of the Dominos was actually digested because I promptly threw up all night, and then most of today too. I don't think I ate enough carbs before going out, or enough food at all Saturday day really. Very skeptical that a good proportion of my 3lb weight loss was more to do with the fact there was absolutely nothing in my stomach, but I weighed myself 5 times so I'm not complaining for now, just bracing myself for a possible sts next week!

  • Well over indulged on a buffet yesterday, I can stick to the plan if I'm on my own, but offer me anything and I cannot resist!

Still hoping for a loss this week though as was doing well the rest of the time, doing an SP-lite day today though.

L: Chilli and Lentil Soup, cheese (HEA) and 2 Ryvita (2 syns), Jelly Pot (1/2 syn).
    Snacks: A satsuma, plum, grapes.
    T: Bacon and tomatoes!!

Leaves me 12.5 syns, got some butterfingers for my birthday, so will eat a couple I think, or if I'm being extra good some hi-life bars.

    Morning everyone

Taking the opportunity to post whilst it's quiet with no one in the office :)

Mich - glad to hear the tagine is lovely DD2 and her fiance are coming to dinner on Thursday and it's what I plan to make for us all. I'll also make a pudding, but won't have any of that - I saw someone make a Nutella crown over the weekend and so want to have a go at it, so that may be what they get

Well done on the loss Whiplashy - enjoy your time away and forget about SW. This is the real world and life has to be lived

Hope you are feeling better soon Fay

Well I WI this morning and am very happy to report a loss of 2 1/4 lb for the chart Shala.

I think posting my menus helped as I had to focus on exactly what I was eating and record everything, so thanks to everyone who took the time to give me feedback.

Right, a pile of marking awaits. I may be some time......................
  • Anyhow weigh in is tomorrow, since I'm on my own I've got an opportunity to do some SW research. I've got two options I can either do a proper SP week, did it for half a week and wasn;t massively convinced but now I'm back in my normal territory I think it might be a decent time to give it a proper go.

Or I can do a Ready Meal week, however I'm not convinced I'll be able to get a supply of them to do it.

Morning! Hope you had lovely weekends!

We tried 'potty trainig' our twins on Sat which ended with tons of washing and them only using potty twice (each). Basically, we had a day without nappies, will be doing that more orften now, as I am fed up with the nappies by now! And could do with saving some money too... So, we stayed at home all day, and had friends come over later and we did a painting session, which was great.

Anyway, it is carneval celebrations at nursery today, so my daughter went out as a tiger (including painted face, which she loves) and my son is a Gruffalo (no face painting as he hates it!) (thank got for M&S onsies that they use for sleeping - it was an easy morning to dress them up!).

The nursery celebration also meant that I spent most of the weekend making mini muffins (and eating them...) as we needed to bring some food for the bufft for kids. Also, I made some sausages this weekend - and there is no fat in them at all. My OH even complained that they are too dry. I did pork and apple, and have some more left, so that will be my food for a while, maybe kids will have some too (if you give them an option, they will only ask pasta or sausages).

Which basically meant that it was a hectic morning with regards to my breakfast - so I just boiled two eggs and took to work with me, one of which I managed to squash on the way from the car to my office!

    Menu today:
    B: boiled eggs
L: salad with eggs and a bit of cheese (HEA)
D: pork stew or sausages with veg

Snacks - fruits and will probably end up having some porridge or cereal as I am starving!!!!!
