Evening everyone, hope you've all had a lovely weekend

We finished painting the kitchen on Friday and went dancing in the evening. Yesterday I finished 2 cakes a friend had asked me to make - I had to carve one of them which is something I've not done much of so a bit of a challenge. Housework, food shopping, cakes delivered, a visit to daughter no.2 and a walk today

Got back later than planned so no roast for dinner, instead we had "freezer surprise!"

Back to work tomorrow, but no students so will be marking, claiming qualifications and generally catching up with paperwork

So here's today's menu which was EE

B oats so simple with blueberries (hea & b)
    S apple
L small bowl of lo pasta from last night
S couple of pieces of cold chicken (fridge raiding when we got back from walk)
D savoury quorn mince (with onions, celery, carrots and baked beans in it) with cabbage, carrots and a couple of new pots, gravy (1syn)
S ff yoghurt and a pear

Drinks water, nas vimto, 2 coffees with hea milk

TMI time - I may have a reason for no losses over the last couple of weeks. Started with T.O.M this morning. Total shock as I havent had a visit for nearly 3 years!!!

WI tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed for a loss, it won't be through lack of effort!!!!

Really enjoyed the Ball last night, but seeing the photos has made me more determined than ever to keep going with the weight loss. I can see some improvement but no where near where I want to be.

Stick at it durham, you'll get there :) but glad you saw that you looked slimmer.

Today's demolishion of a buffet went well :o I've just chucked the leftover white bread sandwiches rather than eating them all though so I get some brownie points :D. There were 3 of us on SW there today - we discussed flexi-synning early on, then agreed later that line had been crossed :(

Thank goodness no more family birthdays for a couple of months!

I did get a lot of compliments about my new shape and size (only slightly embarrassed about it!). One of my oldest friends has offered me a root through her old clothes that she's not wanted to just throw out. She hands stuff out regularly but I've never been able to fit it before now! They are her post/between pregnancy 'fat clothes' though - size 12 :rotfl:

There is a jar of nutella in my cupboard that is now less full:o it was for pancake day and was given to us by family, even though they know I am trying to slim and am failing miserably.

I'm sure it was just on honour of the fella who invented it who sadly passed away yesterday.. he bought so much joy and happiness with one gorgeous little pot of chocolate.. thank you Mr Ferrero!

But now Rummer.. step away from the Nutella!!!!

Evening all. Still not feeling 100%, but after the week of bad eating to compensate , I need to get back on track. My DH has been in charge of rations, so it's been Scottish plain bread sandwiches for lunches. Didn't have an appetite so dinner at start of week consisted of ice cream. DH kept getting me little treats to tempt me. Appetite started to improve towards end of week, so he provided take aways of fish & chips and south Indian garlic chilli chicken, rice and naan bread (shared). I'm off to do a meal plan for the week and a shopping list - haven't done a proper shop for more than a week.

I have read back and I see there are several under the weather - I hope you all feel better soon.

Well done losers and any who've had NSVs.

Heading off to a 5 star spa hotel on Wednesday for a few days with my mum. There will be copious amounts of fried food for breakfast, 3 course dinners and afternoon tea...and I intend to enjoy every last one of them! I've never stayed in a 5 star before and probably won't get to again. There will definitely be a gain next Sunday :D
