I looked in both mags and could not see the voucher, perhaps it was in last month's? The new (March) mags were out recently, ah well I might have to pay a tenner then, still worth it if it helps me lose weight.
I'm sure it was this week's I saw it in Sainsbury's today:

Hi all
Maman- just saw what you said to wizkid about doing EESP when diabetic- I would disagree. It does actually say I think somewhere not suitable for diabetics and my Mum's friend who is insulin dependent has been told by her doctor and SW consultant not to attempt it under any circumstances so I would probably say it's safer not to. I think EESP is one of those controversial type topics- my consultant got ️very stroppy with me when she suggested I did it and I told her my doctor had advised me not to as it made me very poorly previously. I don't think they like admitting that some plans aren't suitable for everyone.
Been to the gym today. I had a massive panic attack yesterday so had to leave early- I tried my size 16 skinny jeans on that I was hoping to wear next week and they do fit, they aren't too uncomfortable but I look hideous in themI also put on my favourite size 14 Lipsy tracksuit and I look about 8 months gone in it
feel hideous and lumpy and fat!!!
Today's meal plan:
B: HEXB Weetabix, HEXA semi skimmed, WW dessert yoghurt, flavoured water
L: Quorn meatballs, steamed mixed veg, tin of tomatoes with garlic. Flavoured water
Snack: 2 x bananas, HiFi bar (3 syns)
T: 2 Quorn SF burgers (5 Syns) 3 Linda McCartney red onion sausages, Smash, mushy peas. 2 mini milks (3 syns)
S: 2 cheese twists (4 syns)
Syns: 15
Body Magic: 63 mins cardio (exercise bike, rower, cross trainer, arm bike, treadmill)

I can't believe how much effort you put in at the gym. I'm ashamed of how lazy I am in comparison.
Shame about the jeans but you've still got a few days. It's surprising how much difference a pound or two can make. I use my jeans to tell me how I'm doing as it shows up straight away (especially when they're just washed!).
Looking at your menu, could it be Green today? If I'm right then you needn't syn the Hi-Fi.0 -
Hi all
not been posting much as have been super busy but have a long weekend. Kids had inservice yesterday but we were in and I got loads of work done - yeh. Still have some stuff home with me over the weekend as I want to get some stuff done before the budgets close for this year.
Well done to all the losers and good luck for next week for everyone else.
We got the vouchers for Iceland at this weeks meetings but not sure if I will buy 4 lots but will certainly try a couple so I have them in the freezer for emergencies.
OH and I watched the eat well for less last night and were shocked at how much they spent on food. My favourite bit was at the end when they said they could get it down to £200 a week and the wife said "that's probably more like what most people spend a week" Think they need a reality check.
Off to Stiring castle today to see the Scottish tapestry exhibition and DH is taking DS1 to see big hero 6. Little one is at nursery this morning so gives me 2.5 hours to look at the tapestries on my own - blliss.0 -
Morning everyone. Fab losses rolling in again, you are all awesome :j
Another vimto lover here but I can't stomach NAS (and to be honest I'm not convinced that artificial sweeteners are good for you at all). I used to drink pints of the stuff and now I treat myself to a glass with dinner most days at a cost of 2 syns. Well worth it
I think the last two days for me have gone much better than I've been doing recently. Am managing to reduce the snacking (or like yesterday at work making the snacks carrot sticks!). Really need to get some losses rolling in again even though I have a lot less spare now so will have to accept some smaller ones and see if I can get to the target I have set.I am really interested in the EE SP plan but for vegetarians (or with minimal amounts of fish), is this feasible? Where can I find out more, without going to a class (I don't like groups and can't really afford the weekly cost). Thank you!.
Personally I don't think EESP is very easy to do as a veggie, and probably not as a pescetarian either. There's lots of P foods that are okay but they are fiddly to put into your diet as 50/50. I tried for a couple of days and it really felt like dieting
My personal feeling is that Green has been working for me and I'm going to continue. I am trying to reduce the free carbs a bit - ie. not have them two meals every day. I do think that SW should give some idea of portion sizes for them, like x grams is a portion as otherwise you can cover your plate with a ton of potato and I fail to see how that will help losses long term.
Our consultant has been very good about reinforcing that EESP is intended for a short burst where existing members are struggling and not long term or or people with diabetes or other health conditions.Does anyone keep jumping on and off the scales?
I am a serial weigherOften at least 2 occasions a day and each time multiple weighs to get the best number
I can lose between 1.5 and 2lbs in a weigh if it goes down! I would say though I don't treat it as gospel, I just weigh to try and make sure there is no upward movement and it is gradually going down so at the moment I've been getting 8s in the morning (the pounds not the stones!) so I want to see it heading down to 7. Similar tale at night but higher numbers!

Morning
It's a 1/2 lb off for me, which means I've lost 1 and a 1/2 stone.
I'll reward myself with a virtual sticky!
Well done to everyone reporting losses and good luck everyone still to weigh.
Back later, taking DH to the dentist to have a broken tooth removed. _pale_

I haven't watched it, but reading the posts about the foos budgets on eat well for less.......
WI tomorrow and I oddly have been feeling bloated this week so am gutted to be expecting a gain even though I'v been really good. I've not had tonnes of extra veg thia week on the side but we always bulk our food out with veg in the sauce
Anyway today (I think I'm working late):
B: porridge (heb) with powdered milk (0.5s) and sweetner
Sn: apple
L: lo chilli (1s for gravy), rice and sw chips
Sn: alpen light (3s)
Late work snack if needed: apple and mug shotlo chilli (1s for gravy) and rice
Need to see how much grocery money we have left but we're out of fresh fruit, veg and yoghurt. Get paid the tail end of next week thank goodness!April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Mildredd, Edward Monkton does good and funny love poems! I could write my own little tirade for someone right now if it was required! :rotfl:
Iceland’s opening early for SW members!!! Haven’t heard of this!! Thankfully I doubt it is happening here or no doubt I’d be shoehorned into having my pic taken outside it whilst exploring the packaging and with a SW Sausage hanging out of my gob! I have done my bit for the local rag and never again!
Welcome hstsocem looking forward to seeing how you get on. Well done on your 10 lbs already!
I watched that show last night, I love it, they were so wasteful it was ridiculous! It was also ridiculous how slim the two of them were on the rubbish that they ate!! Pizzas etc.
Hope the form improves Mrs Ryan, I always think there is nothing like a kick up the backside trying on your favourite clothes and your not happy in them to spur you on. Its not at all nice but sometimes its the best thing to remotivate you.
Maman I hope you have a lovely wedding and enjoy the day even better knowing that the label on your dress says size 8!!
Did you pick a meal deal in the end??? Please share :rotfl:

Oh yesterday was Chocolate Thursday and I had a Fun Size Crunchie !
That's it I'm doing it again, I'm going for another full week. I was as we know going to buy a catering sized bar of something and sit and wallow in my misery on Saturday night but no I'm not there's lbs to be lost here!!!! :rotfl:
However Chocolate Thursday is also becoming bread Thursday the only day bread will be consumed until I reach target.
This is just me and my personal preference as bread really stalls and affects me big time.
So there we have it roll on Chocolate & Bread Thursday next week!!0
