Probably about six times a day, I'm obsessed with it, but at the same time am pretty constant with my weight loss. I know I will lose 2lbs overnight (after gaining during the day, etc.)
  • Well done to the latest losers :T

Re jumping on the scales - I usually get weighed first thing on a morning and just before I leave on a Monday night before setting off for class (usually within a pound of SW scales). On top of these weighings, DS bought a pair of posh scales (think they are called something posher than scales ;)) they take your weight, heart rate, fat, air quality, whether or not it's going to rain (I kid you not) and reports all this back onto our computers - I get on these once a week. I have gone through phases (many years ago now) whereby each time I had a pee I would be on the scales but I am not quite that bad now.

Thank you maman I shall look at both magazines and see if the voucher is valid until next week, so I can join on my return on Wednesday.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Hey guys, I'm Em! Hope it's alright for me to join! I've been doing SW for a month and really loving it (lost 10lbs), but only online so really want some support. I've been lurking for a little bit, read the whole of the first thread (circa 2009) after I searched for something to do with quark, and now catching up on this new thread. I joined MSE specifically for this thread because it just felt a bit more communal than other sites. I'm going to join the next challenge (March right?) but until then will keep plugging away at getting rid of lbs.

    SO

Breakfast - Overnight oats: 35g oats (hexb), vanilla muller light yoghurt, berries (raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants).

Lunch - I had an egg/omelette/quark disaster because I only had one egg left and forgot that quark splits when you heat it ugh. So 1 egg, 3/4 tub quark, mushrooms, spring onions, tomatoes, ham and then a bowl of tinned macaroni cheese which I think I'm right in saying is 1.5 syns?

Dinner - Tuna pasta bake left over from last night: tuna, pasta, onions, passata, mushrooms, lemon juice and then my tomato sauce was the pickled onion soup? So carrots, chopped tomatoes and baked beans blended in that. I made it with double my hexa but obviously had half last night and half tonight.

Liquid - 2 pints NAS Vimto (I know, but I really hate water and my normal NAS squash was upstairs. I did get some funny looks when I went to the gym with a bottle of it!), 1 can diet coke.

Snacks - grapes. I know these aren't superfree anymore but I'm a student and I need to use them up before I buy in more fruit.

I'll probably have a satsuma (not sure if it's a satsuma or the one below orange because they're quite large!) after my pasta bake, and then a couple of Heroes as a reward whilst I do some reading for uni.

Gosh this is SUCH a long post, sorry guys!
