    Hiya 😀

Lunch out yesterday was fairly SW friendly apart from a mistake by the waiter who put severe temptation in my way! I had melon and Serrano ham to start and I'd ordered a ham omelette with salad but a curry of the day was plonked in front of me.

I love curry, but I know restaurants use lots of oil and butter so I didn't order one. Maybe the waiter read my mind? I sent it back.

Food wise today I've resisted chippy chips and toblerone and cake
    Go me!!!

If only diet success depended on what we didn't eat!

I also resisted a menu full of rib sticking, traditional puds like spotted !!!!!!, treacle pudding, apple crumble... And had an Americano instead :A

I made that my main meal and had ryvita and cheese for supper (HEA and HEB) and we finished off the cookies (2 each, there were only 8 in the packet).

We're eating out again today at a friends but she eats healthily so I don't foresee any problem. We've got plenty of salad stuff for lunch, probably have fruit and yogurt for breakfast.

    Have a good day everyone.

Weigh in day for me and another week off the Chocolate! So think I am saving Chocolate Thursday for Saturday since I will be in my little Valentines strop. :rotfl:

I'm on the up, instead of feeling 25 % I'm back up to 65 % and the make up is back on today, just coz I'm in bad form doesn't mean the rest of the world has to suffer.:rotfl:

Who knows come Saturday I might not even care!!

Think I'm going for a BLT Salad with SW Chips & Cheese melted tonight after WI. I lay in bed last night for about an hour thinking about what I was eating today and Saturday. How sad am I :(. The two days when I normally relax and treat myself a bit i.e Comfort Eat lol.

Praying for some form of loss, for the sake of my mood if nothing else!

    Shala - R you going?

    Good morning...
so the plan for today is:

B: kelloggs raisin wheats with two spoons of FF yogurt, coffee
L: carrot, pepper and cucumber sticks, boiled eggs, FF quark with FF yogurt and some raisins
D: probably sausages with veg, as they are close to BBF date....

Will keep snacking on apples and oranges at work, with some other fruits in the mix when i get home.

  • Calling in to quickly post this weeks loss of ...3lb! I am very happy :j

This takes me 1lb lower than I was a few weeks ago before my gain and finally puts me back around where I was at Christmas. Just 18lbs left to go to get back to target, less than 1.5stone (if only just) so I am motivated

I prepped a stew for the slow cooker last night and remembered to stick that on before I left this morning so tea is sorted with minimal fuss, lunch is another scrummy ham salad (though it will be a chicken noodle deli box thing tomorrow so will check syns for that) breakfast however is a bagel which I am being treated to and as I have no wheat biscuits left at work I will accept :)

I have the usual melon piece and grapes to munch on too

Hello, long time lurker, I keep meaning to do something about my weight and keep failing, the day starts well and I end up eating too much in the evenings.

I am really interested in the EE SP plan but for vegetarians (or with minimal amounts of fish), is this feasible? Where can I find out more, without going to a class (I don't like groups and can't really afford the weekly cost). Thank you!

Edited to say, I could probably do with losing 2 stones and a bit, but for the time being losing 1 stone would be a miracle come true. Is it feasible in, say, 2 months? Thanks again.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Hello Caterina!!!!

I am sure losing 1 stone is feasible in 2 months - that is 14lb in 8 weeks, so it is less than 2lb a weeks, which is doable. You just need to keep to the plan.

I cannot comment on the suitability of EESP for vegetarians. However, it does includes beans and plenty of fish choices, so with the veg it might be ok. You still get one choice of dairy (HeA) and 2 of HeB (which includes cereals, bread, more pulses, nuts, oilive oil).

Morning, was out most of yesterday, shopping in the morning, massage in afternoon and housegroup in evening, so didn't get to post. Still haven't finalised my menu but Dinner will include homity pie.

    Well done Lushon the loss.

ETAJust had an invite out to lunch by my FIL :) Will be going to Sainsbobs so will need to choose carefully. Will have to do Callenetics this evening instead.

Thank you for your welcome, ginvzt.

I am considering joining a group for the first few weeks and then use this forum for support, it will have to be after this weekend as I am going away until next Tuesday and have no control on what food I am served (staying with DH's family).

Btw, look on the first page - posts 2 and 3 to see more info about the EESP plan. There is a list of all the foods for S and P and you can see for yourself what you can have on this plan.
