  • musogirl295 - I attended a group where one woman was on SW plan all through her pregnancy, she was healthy and after the baby was born (he must be 5 now) she lost her baby weight and went on to become a consultant. She never regained her weight. She was very large with her previous child and had pregnancy problems, the health professionals saw her being on SW as a beneficial thing. So good luck to you :)

Hi all, can I join in too please?

I've been avoiding my scales for a few months but finally got back on this morning...I was at my target weight of 12st last time but now I'm at 14st 8.5lb:( I'm only an online member so no new pack for me unless I buy one off them. Giving myself the weeked to get the new plans into my brain and stock up the kitchen. Going to start EESP on Mon for a week and then back to EE with a couple of SP days each week.

I really like the idea of syning free foods like muller lights at 1syn per 20kcal, as that's the only part of the SP plan so far that's been annoying me. It makes no sense to me that having a fat free yogurt would mean I wasn't strictly sticking to the plan but having chocolate is fine as long as it's synned! I'll be eating some free foods next week, counting them as my syns, and no other syns.

I'd love to join in the challenge for some extra motivation. I really want to join a SW class but there's none locally that suit, so I figure the challenge is the next best thing.

Can you put me down for 21lb please Shala?

Welcome whiplashy. Why am I not surprised that there's no new pack for online members. We're all learning together on here so do keep posting.

    Slow & steady's~~ I need your help & support.

Our consultant's collecting up all (unopened;)) chocolates from the group to give to our local foodbank. Good idea to post it as I'd hate to see any wasted even if I'm not going to eat it myself.

    Morning All,

So nice and comforting to see the old faces. Love the signature Lantanna. You are an inspiration.

All this talk of the new plan is very confusing to a fat old frog. Can I still just do green days? Or has that changed too???

Good Morning! And a special Good Morning to our lovely green friend - good to see you back although sorry you've been having such a rough time :(

You can definitely still do Green if that's what you want, don't worry about the changes. They are plugging the new plan and won't explain Green and Red to the new starters but we can continue with what works for us :)

It must be the mse in me but just looking at the eesp lists and I notice that caviar is not a P but it's okay because you can still have lobster :rotfl:

Not really been good for 3 days. I'm seriously thinking of trying to do an eesp burst for the next few days (although there will be roast potatoes with my Sunday lunch). I'm veggie - I was thinking that there are lots of beans and pulses that are P foods which to my mind are also carbs? With 2 HEB's for cereal/bread etc too it should be doable? I don't think long term it will work but then it's meant to be a short term kick to weight loss for anyone but not a permanent plan.

To be honest I was thinking about what I could eat today to make it eesp and frankly it feels like planning a diet :(

Gonna make some SW mini quiches with loads of veg in for snacking, and I already have some quorn fillets in a veg & bean sauce for tea so won't have any pasta/pots with that. I've not thought it all through yet tbh...
