L - Tuna with carrots broccoli, cabbage and 3 leftover potatoes from yesterday. Banana and weight watchers yoghurt.
d - steak, peas, carrots, broccoli. Then some sugar free jelly.
Shala I noticed my post where I said my aim for the challenge did not come in bold so wanted to check you got it. I would like to aim for 8lb please.
I have also started the C25k done 2 days and need to do day 3 today but lacking motivation.0 -

 Hello, I am back again
I have tried and failed so many times to lose weight and every few months I join this thread and then slink away back to my old habits
. However enough is enough I am going to do it this time!
I have 3 stone to lose and I am determined to have dropped a dress size by the summer (at least). In the past I have gone to SW groups but to be honest I did not find them as motivational as I had hoped however I have been following this thread for a while and think it will be a great support. Thank you to maman for encouraging me over here from the Fabbing thread.
This week I am planning on follwoing the EESP plan to give me a real kick start as I tend to give up if things do not go well quickly. After that I will follow the EE plan. Thank you Tweets for the useful informationTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Good to 'see' you rummer. You're very welcome.
Three stone is very doable by the summer but start off with small targets, like your first week and then your first half stone.:)Thanks for the menu plans posted on here, especially for the EESP, it's going to take a while to get the hang of it:rotfl:
I agree it will take a while to get used to making up 50:50 S and P but the good thing is it will still work even if the proportion goes a but awry.
I think it would be useful if those of us that post menus put EE/EESP/Green/Red with them. Just a suggestion, hope I don't sound too bossy.:o
Realised that one of my preferred snacks is perfect for EESP. I just chop an apple into a couple of tablespoons of FF cottage cheese and then eat it with a spoon. Much nicer than a boring old apple on its own.
lush, I find Aldi has so many items in stock now that what I buy in Sainsbury's and elsewhere is getting less and less. Those are my two main shops because they're closest together but I think you'll find Asda even cheaper for any top ups you need.
Did my shop this afternoon, so now we have enough fruit and veg to run our won Harvest Festival!:rotfl:0 -
There is a of 'Slinking back with tail between legs' going on here today. If my tail was long enough it would be well and truly between my legs. However, it is just a stump as I haven't really had a tail since I was a tadpole, but you get the idea I'm sure.
This time last year I posted how I wanted to lose 'the last little bit'. And yet I find myself here again, right back up to 18st. I don't really know how it happened? One minute I was feeling positive, nay cocky, in my size 12 jeans, compliments-a-flying, and in the blink of an eye and a stuff of the mouth I'm a fat little frog feeling sorry for myself unable to get anything on that doesn't have an elasticated waist.
How can it be, that when I'm losing it, it takes AGES, yet when I'm gaining it, I go to bed and it's January, and wake up and it's December? So along with you other hopeless individuals who have searched everywhere for the gumption to start again, I too will be giving it another go. I have a plan. I've lost it before. I know I can do it again.
I won't weigh in every week as I have an allergic reaction to the scales. Honestly. Once I've hopped on and read the dial, my eyes start watering uncontrollably and then I get all moody and woeful for the rest of the day. I then feel compelled to eat chocolate as a cure for these dreadful symptoms which oddly enough works in the short term, but isn't a long term solution. So I shall weigh monthly so as not to sabotage my efforts.
My target is 12st, still quite chubby for a frog, but doable. SO that's a mere 6 stone to go. Easy Peasy me thinks. Reckon that'll be gone by next tuesday?
I've actually been off work sick since November 1st. I walked out after a particularly dreadful class on the first day back after half term. I just couldn't be there anymore. I don't know why that lesson was the one that made me snap. I've had trying classes before. But I was suddenly hit with a huge wave of 'what the hell am I doing here'? I just couldn't be in the building anymore. I'd never felt like that before. I'd moaned about the 'bl00dy place', but I'd never wanted to run away and not come back. I scared myself.
I went straight to the GP and sat in the consultation room sobbing uncontrollably for 45 minutes. Oddly enough she had no hesitation in sighing me off. It has since transpired that I have very low levels of Vitamin D and that may be why my mood was so low? It has also manifest itself in a few physical pains; feet, hands and knees, so bad that I was convinced I had Rheumatoid Arthritis, although thankfully blood tests have shown I haven't. I'm just a wuss. I have also been getting very bad headaches for months, so I have been referred to the neurology dept and the appointment is next week. Hopefully they'll find I do have a brain, and it isn't just cabbage moulding away in there.
SO I'm signed off until at least February 1st. GP has said it may take months to feel myself again (ooo er mrs, that didn't sound quite right?) and I have been advised by HR that I'm allowed to be off until May 1st on full pay if necessary so I may take that time if I need it. That means I have at least 4 months of concentrating on getting better before I have to pee or get off the pot with regards to my future at school. 4 months is a good long time to lose a big amount and feel more positive about things. Then maybe go back and face the music in a better frame of mind? I also realise that putting on 5 stone in a year may account for the physical issues, so I have no one to blame but myself.
As I said I do have more time now, so I shall make an effort to post daily. To keep up with you all. To stay positive. And as Beanie says, To keep plodding.
Hoppy New Year my friends, and very good luck to us all

Linda mccartney arent mentioned as being free on SP
The free quorn ones on EE are the frozen box of six (has a blue flash across front of box that says low fat). Asda and sainsbobs are the only supermarkets to stock them. Currently on offer in asda for 98p a box
That explains why I've not seen them, I tend to stick to Tesco on the whole.
There are no branded foods that are free on SP, here's a quote from the slimming world website:
Is it only just the quorn pieces and mince that are classed as P on extra easy SP, or are other quorn products please? Like you I'm a veggie whose always done green days and am trying yo make the change over. Thank you

Hiya Becky. Yes - it's only quorn pieces and mince that have the P symbol. We haven’t given the P symbol (or any other symbol) to any branded/processed foods because although some are Free, we can’t be 100% sure of the proportions of protein in every branded product, and so we can’t be certain if they’d count as a P food. You can still enjoy them freely on Extra Easy though. x

This was in the Q and A at the bottom of an article written by a SW consultant who is vegetarian.
http://group.slimmingworld.com/useful-features/nataliebrewer.aspx
I'm not going to try SP yet, as I've already cut out so many food groups (veggie, allergic to nuts, don't drink alcohol, obviously very limited on bread or other flour products with SW). I don't think low carb diets are really feasible for vegetarians, which is what SP is really. I'll be interested to hear how everyone gets on though.0 -
This is my Saturday menu plan.

L. Cheese toastie A/B clementine.

Found you all. Happy new year. I havnt been on a few weeks due to work and xmas madness, all back to normal from Monday.
I had lost 13 lbs before the Christmas break. I went to class on Wed and had gained 3lbs. I havnt stopped eating so I expect it will be another gain next week.
I am motivated now all the treats and nibbles are finished. The alcohol is gone and jsut healthy food in the freezer.
I plan to continue with EE and try a couple days on SP to give me a boost, I hope to get back to near that stone, and beyond.
I'm going to sit tonight and meal plan from what we have in the freezer and any other top ups.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
