No I can't get it to work.:mad::mad:Here's my menu plan for tomorrow
B. 1slice wholemeal,egg,mushrooms,tomatoes.
L. HM veg soup. Satsuma, Hifi bar.
T. Chicken and veg curry, cauliflower, brocolli, ss peas. Mullerlight
Syns planned. Options.
I will have more syns but will try to keep them under control! Really need to keep them as low as possible to try to limit damage already done this week!
Will really appreciate correction and ideas. Thanks
If it wasn't for the Muller that looks very like a SP menu, not sure if that's what you were trying.:T So if you call your yogurt syns then you've got some HEXs going begging. I can't see any HEA and I think another HEB as well. This thread is running fast.
Done EESP yesterday. Still a bit confused, filling half your plate with meat or other protein is quite a lot, like 2 chicken breasts.
http://instagram.com/p/xVKYQfHivr/
It was scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cherry tom
Tinned salmon with big salad and cottage cheese
Chilli con carne with cauliflower rice
Had 4 ryvita original with cheese, chicken, cucumber etc for HE's
I think LL is right. We talked about it in my group, mainly because the cost of half a plate meat/fish would be very prohibitive. So best to think up things like peas and other pulses alongside S veg. I can't see why mashed butter beans would be a problem as mushy peas are fine. Incidentally, cottage cheese is lovely with chilli. It's a bit like having sour cream with it.
I'm going to do a shop today, first since Christmas. FE, what I do is write 7 suppers (or fewer if we're eating out) in the corner of my shopping list then make sure I have all the ingredients needed on the list. I think up the 7 ideas by looking at what's in the freezer/fridge/cupboards first so I don't buy any new ingredients unless I have to. Breakfasts I just buy plenty of ingredients (cereal, porage, eggs, beans etc) so we've always got something in. Same with lunch really but that's mostly for DH (sandwich fillings, cakes, crisps:eek:). My lunches seem to be LOs or HM soup or something from eggs. When I get back from shopping I just cut the list of meals off and stick it on the microwave for the week.
I've had SW breakfast (cereal and milk). I'm going to just snack on some fruit (satsumas and apple) until after my shop when maybe I'll have something else. Supper's sorted (savoury mince, green veg and probably new potatoes). As it's Friday, there'll be wine syns.;)0 -
Hello everyone, what a lovely, positive thread!
I've been lurking for months, but have now decided to get properly into gear, and join in. I've been doing SW for about 20 years{!} If yoyo dieting was an Olympic sport, I'd have a gold medal. Now I'm heading fast towards my 60th birthday I need to shift this 5 stone that isn't doing me any favours, either health or looks wise.
May I join the challenge please? Could I be put down for 10 pounds? Thank you.
I'm looking forward to taking a bit of control back over myself after Christmas, chocolate is my downfall, and also cheese. Most of the yummies have gone, the few that are left I won't open, Husband has put them upstairs out of sight, as he doesn't want them either.
I'm going to group tomorrow with my voucher from Woman magazine, just to get the new plan. I don't know if I'll bother with it, I may just stick to Green days, as I am mostly vegetarian, with a little occasional fish. It might motivate me a bit to hear the 'talk' again. I've found that I don't like group much, all the clappy stuff isn't really me. I think that this thread is far more up my street. And it's free!
Happy New Year to everyone, and extra big thanks to Shala-who-does-the-chart! Looks like it's going to be an epic task, keeping on top of it all.Good Luck!0 -

Thanks for the posts tweets. They're very useful.:) and :T with the extra BM with the dog.
Welcome GoneSouth. I'm not a fan of the happy clappy side of SW either, I feel like a performing seal! I do go to group but only occasionally (target member) mainly to catch up with old friends, get weighed to confirm what my jeans are telling me and maintain website access. I think it's a good idea to rejoin and get a new set of books especially as it'll only cost you a fiver. They probably won't be doing much clapping either as I understand this week's just given over to a talk about the 'new' plan.0 -
Thank you for the piccie :A
I am confused on the blueberry front, for years it's been thrown at us as the best to eat as its a super fruit. Now it's NOT super free? Oh well I'm still gonna eat emIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi everyone, popping back for maintenance. I got to target last year and maintained it well, only fluctuating by a couple of pounds. However after having the whole of December not really watching what I ate I've now gained nearly a stone  so it's time to put myself back on track, starting when I go back to work on Monday and have done a proper shop.
This coincides nicely with the new challenge so Shala can you please put me down for 10lb please
Looking forward to catching up with all you0 -

Well not a good end to 2014 put on 3.5lb over xmas ... So onward and upward. Group was all about the new focus on EE and also if we want the boost from the EESP plan too. Told we can do it for a week. Also told it was a good idea to do one day EESP and 2 days straight EE and back onto EESP. Apparently the managers who had been chosen to trial the diet plans had found that to be the most benefit. So that is what I will try this coming week. We got the food diaries specific to the new plans, so I photocopy some of those and will use those every day. I find I do better if I firstly work a weeks food plan out and secondly also write it all down as I go.
All the best to everyoneRemember when you judge someone, it does not define them ... You define yourself :j0 -
Thanks for the comments Maman.
I had baked beans with 1 slice wholemeal toast, and a pear for breakfast. Otherwise I'll stick to what's planned, except I'll forget the mullerlight, but add another HXB (a couple of ryvit as with LCL cheese , HXA, and then I will have managed a EESP without realising till you pointed it out!
The syns are not a problem, well they are but keeping them under control is the hardest part
Thanks for the menu plans posted on here, especially for the EESP, it's going to take a while to get the hang of it:rotfl:0
