Not all quorn sausages are free, in fact I've struggled to find the ones that are free, it's difficult to tell the difference. Linda McCartney Rosemary sausages are free though, they're quite nice.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Permission to join in please.

Joined Slimming World on Tuesday. Have joined half heartedly before, and lasted for a couple of weeks. But I keep getting fatter, and fatter, every month adds another pound or three, and have now reached my heaviest weight. I have 3 stone to lose to take me to target. And I need to do something before some part of my body goes on strike.

Going swimming tomorrow, for the first time in years :)

    This thread is running fast.

Done EESP yesterday. Still a bit confused, filling half your plate with meat or other protein is quite a lot, like 2 chicken breasts.

    http://instagram.com/p/xVKYQfHivr/

It was scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cherry tom
Tinned salmon with big salad and cottage cheese
Chilli con carne with cauliflower rice

Had 4 ryvita original with cheese, chicken, cucumber etc for HE's

Well I'm off to bed in shame, I found an open box of Ferrero rocher that I didn't know I had... I haven't got them anymore :o:o

Ruined my first day *sigh* start AGAIN tomorrow..

So let's hope I haven't got any temptations coming my way tomorrow otherwise I'm done for again :(:D

I feel your pain. Just posted my :A eating plan from yesterday. Today was a different story. The meal I had planned got changed last minute because of who was going to be home and who wasn't so made a buffet instead. Lets just say, great quantities of garlic bread, crisps, chocolate were consumed. Another EESP day tomorrow I think.

Come on, lets do this. Back to healthy eating!

Hello and happy new year, everyone. And I hi to all our enthusiastic newbies too!

Still eating, still got a few things going on (and those are in the right order, sadly).

Planning to start back on Monday (even changing WI day), even although I'm out for lunch again!

Put me down for 8lbs(again) please. Shala. I really need to knuckle down, although Im not looking for a quick fix, as it's my son's wedding in April.

    Good luck x

Was very nearly on plan yesterday - had 16.5 syns as DH got me a lolly from the freezer and instead of my usual 3 syn one he got me one of the Magnum type ones - a whopping 12.5 syns:eek:

Hoping today will be better and not sure it will be as we have been invited into the neighbours for drinks this evening as we both had family at Christmas and New Year so quite likely to go over syns again!

    Another EE day:

B - porridge made with water, Mullerlight Vanilla, grapes
L - LO turkey & chorizo risotto (have already synned the chorizo)
D - LO carrot & coriander soup; gremalata baked whiting, chips & peas

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - porridge

    Syns: gremalata 2.5; wine?

  • 10 lbs please for me shala
  • Ok so day 1 of SP over and done with, on the scales this morning I have lost 3lbs! To be fair I've over indulged a fair bit over Christmas so would have expected similar had I just stuck to an EE day.

I'd suggest the only difference for me between an EE day and this SP day was two mullerlights and 75g of pasta.

Seemed odd depriving myself of a mullerlight or some yoghurt and then eating two Cadbury's Heroes and 2 Kinder bars to use up my syns. Maybe I'll start synning them on a 20 calorie per syn basis.

I didn't feel especially hungry or unfilled, I guess I had some carbs in my cereal and my ryvita/scan bran though.

Similar meals to today as I have all my ham to use.

B: Bran Flakes, Raspberries and 100ml of Milk
L: Pea, Ham and Veg soup, with 15g of cheese, 2 scanbran, 2 ryvita.
T: Ham, Sprouts, Pickled Cabbage, Pickled Beetroot, maybe some carrots. 2 syns worth of mango chutney.

Extras: Got some clementines, and I'll have 13 syns of treats as well.

I think long term though I'll just incorporate some SP meals into my regular plan. For example on Tuesday we had lemon and herb chicken, salad and rice. The rice added nothing, so might just skip such things and have SP meals

Good morning - I just wrote a lovely long post and lost it all :(

Anyway; I think wonder bairn is on the way to cracking this sleep thing :) she slept 7pm-5am and fell back to sleep at 6.20am and is still fast on! Wondering if I chance a shower but for now I've enjoyed a pot of tea as my parents got me a tea-for-one set for Christmas ... I may try for the shower in peace!

    Today's plan:
Breakfast: tea with milk from HeA, HeB 2 wheat biscuits with milk from HeA
Lunch: homemade leek and potato soup
Tea: cottage pie - couple of syns for a small splash of gravy

Few syns left for a slice of chocolate orange and maybe a hot chocolate. I'd have some wine or Southern Comfort and lemonade to celebrate Wonder Bairn's cracking night but I've signed up for Dry January despite not drinking much!

We have an appointment with the Health Visitor at home later...I'm not her biggest fan as she's pretty much just left me with very little help/support since Wonder Bairn came in to the world - no weaning support, no support with her continual sickness after feeds in the first few months, never returning my calls/messages(!) but it will be good to get Wonder Bairn weighed on more appropraite scales (I could do with changing her to front facing in my car to make it easier for both me and her and we need to make sure we can change her position in bf's car as in there we have an extended rear facing seat :) )and check about a few bits as we move forward.

I might try and squeeze in a walk to town to pick up bf's prescription too - I used to do that walk (1 mile round trip) everyday before I worked full time and often 2/3 times a week at the start of maternity leave...then I got the car and got lazy despite saying I'd still walk if I was only going to get a couple of bits! Whether or not I can squeeze the walk in depends on when bubs gets up!

Anyway...wishing everyone fantastic days...not to chance that shower!

    Snap!
That's exactly what I was thinking of doing, so it's 20 calories per syn is it? I thought it was 20 calories per half syn?
