:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So true meg :T When we got our revamp in the bathroom last year, I had organised for a tall cupboard with mirrored door between the door and shower doors so now I step out of the shower and  Why didn't I think of that - there again in my defence it was the only place we could put it.
Postie has just brought me a lovely card from my SW consultant for getting my latest shiney. It looks a bit like a Valentines card but she has written a beautiful message inside. She really is lovely. Thinking about it - it's probably the nearest thing I will get for Valentines :rotfl: Asked DH if he would like one of the Smart Price Valentines Cards - and he replied that he would still be annoyed that I had wasted 17p  Romance eh
Shala - hope you and anyone else who is struggling find lost SW mojos soon. xx
Welcome back Daisy - I usually have some form of choccie as part of my syns - I know not very imaginative

You have just reminded me meg of the time we were travelling to Scotland for a wedding DH was travelling with his sis and her husband and I was following later with DS when he got in from work. I was driving DS's car to give him a rest as he had come straight from work so it was agreed that I would drive the first half of the journey. I'll just point out that DS hates being a passenger in a car especially when that car belongs to himSo I decided to pop a bag of jelly babies in front of car and said if we were going to bite each others heads off - we would bite a jelly baby head instead. Never been known before but the pack of jelly babies made it all the way to Scotland unopened. Funny how little comments can remind of you silly little things in the past.
Re: Valentines choccies - many many many many years ago - DH bought me a choccie heart wrapped in red foil - not for Valentines - but I just couldn't bring myself to eat it. I still come across it now and again in a drawer - wouldn't like to think what it will taste like now though.

, still trying to get my head round some of the changes they have made. Gutted that baked beans are no longer a speed food!
Here's my menu for today, so far it's going well.......
B: Weetabix and banana (hexa and b)
L: Spicy tomato rice (all free and speed) with large salad, mixed fruit bowlQuorn Shepherds Pie, baked beans and veg - probably 2 syns for the gravy
Snacks fruit and yog
Not sure what to use my syns up on though, anyone got any suggestions? I quite fancy a fudge today but I remember this was a problem for me last time!! Any suggestions gratefully received
Have a lovely day everyone xxx
Good to have you back daisy. The good thing about baked beans is that they count as a P (Protein) food if you want to do EESP or any version of it. So, even with an EE meal then if you had baked beans or peas with it you'd cut down on the (more expensive) meat or quorn.
As you've no meat I'd call it a Green day (they still exist on line although not in the new books). So you've got a HEA and B going begging. What about cheese and crackers? For syns, It depends what pleases you most. Sorry can't remember what happened with the fudge. Mine tend to come in a bottle.:o but things like hot chocolate or a biscuit suits others. Or you could save them and have something really 'naughty' later in the week.
lush, was going to comment that half a tin of soup isn't much for your tea. Remind me why you tend to use up syns with evening meals. Is it because BF needs special food or that it saves you time using ready made sauces? I think it was denise was saying the other day that using up syns for meals doesn't leave much for treats.
I had a lovely lunch. Enjoyed it all the more as unexpected. DH said he fancied a bacon sandwich so first I thought I'd just eat a couple of rashers as I was cooking them for him anyway. Then saw mushrooms and cold potato in fridge. Then two eggs. So a yummy fry up when I was going to have an apple!:D
So pleased you're plodding on shala despite the fall from grace. It really, really, really is worth sticking to the plan until you get to target however long it takes. When you're there you can have the odd journey to the dark side with little effect provided you come back into the light PDQ.0 -

MY DH is no better - there are no cards for any occasions! And I don't mind that, but some flowers once in a while would be nice! I find it you put the cards up for a few days and then they go to the bin. I am much happier to receive a call or meet person instead! As especially often you receive the (especially christmas) card which comes from multipack (so no, they haven't really been thinking of you when they bought this card) and the only message inside from the person is their name.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Bf has to have very specific nutritional intake (proteins, carbs[both types] and fats generally - in some cycles calories get counted too) so generally to make it easier for myself when I get home from work I use pre-made sauces for things like bolognaise/lasagne, some chicken tonight type sauces creep in but that's my preferences. Also with bf being a fussy eater it generally means I know he'll eat it.
When I first did Slimming World I found I used my syns for crisps/chocolate etc and felt cheated afterwards as the feeling of satisfaction/fullness never lasts very long so I replaced those with free things I enjoy - hard boiled eggs and melon chunks especially depending on moods/what I fancy etc so I started using syns with meals - sauces, coatings, a couple of convenience foods like kievs and found that I enjoy them far more and stay full/satisfied much longer having those.
On this occasion the half tin is left over from bf's lunch the other day (we sometimes have soup and a Panini for lunch as its filling and means only something light is needed after a late afternoon training session) and I don't want to just throw it out
I have some of last nights tea left which is all free - chicken, sweetcorn, peas, mushrooms, onion, tinned tomatoes and spaghetti - so I may also have some of that depending on how I feel
For treats I'll have a Panini or we'll go out for a meal so I *try* and flexi syn - though meals out are very rare these days (only 3 since wonder bairn arrived)

can anyone tell me the syns in one of these: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=268579198 ??? Thanks************************************

See if I was with someone I would expect a nice thoughtfully chosen appropriate card :rotfl: That would mean more than anything else. That's all I would need - see I am a cheap date!
I've never been spoilt on Valentines Day, maybe next year hey!:(
A plastic rose I received years ago instead of a real one, that was a treat. I've had some real rank cheap chocolates over the years too and stupid cheap teddies. I've also had a man who refused point blank to acknowledge Valentines Day and referred to anything to do with it as "all that Valentines Scrap".
Oh those idiots do the same with Christmas Cards get the same ones out each year so they don't buy each other new ones then. Prob do it with birthday cards as well to be honest!
Any chocolates that you don't want loved up people please send them my way!! :rotfl:0
