(comes out of hiding)...
Back from holiday, and not as bad as expected - I put on 0.5lb in a week. However, the few days after the holiday now that were really bad - need to get to grips with myself and keep coming to you lot for inspiration and kick up the bum...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
That sounds like a lucky escape meg. but hope it hasn't put you off.
Pleased you've sorted things with the Boy mildredd. Maybe it'll help get your head in a better place.Your wedding sounds nice Maman with a night away! Is that when the Size 8 dress gets its outing?
It is indeed. At WI this morning I'd gained half a pound. That's over two weeks with 3 off plan meals on top of my 100% syns so I can live with that. I'm bang on target and need to stay there (or lose;)) to make sure the dress looks good.
Looking at my diary, I've got about 10 days to the wedding and just one meal out and whatever we do on Valentine's Day to stop me!

Has anyone made the SW 'breakfast' quiche? I made it from memory and it turned out a bit wet. I wonder if it was the tomatoes?
I put in bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, cottage cheese and a bit of FF Fromage Frais. Tasty, but wet, not good for slicing. I think I saw it on the website but could not be bothered to negotiate to it again (i don't find the website user friendly) so I may have not rememberd the recipe correctly.
Partly because I'm lazy I've never made the quiche in the oven. Instead I make a frittata/Spanish omelette on the hob in a frying pan then finish it off under the grill like you might any omelette. I've used some or all of the ingredients you say but also often spring/sliced onions, peppers and sliced potatoes to make it more substantial. I fry all those things and then add the beaten eggs (with maybe a dash of milk or water) and cheese on top before it goes under the grill if I can spare any from a HEA. BUT one day I added a bit of cottage cheese to use it up and it just wouldn't set so I'm guessing that it was the cottage cheese/fromage frais that was the problem.
They had frylight in Home Bargains for £1.50 today but I had the last two cans and they told me it was a one off and they wouldn't be having any more in.:( mysupermarket tells me it's £1.50 in Asda, Tesco and Morrisons so I may call by one of those and stock up.
denise, my consultant said exactly the same. She's not keeping the tasting to free food either! I seemed to know more from a bit of Googling than she did about the ready meals (cost of meals, reduction with vouchers, menus on the back) but apparently SW Consultants are going to be in Iceland on the launch day and on the following Saturday. Someone suggested that they should provide free ready meals for our tasting sessions but she said they couldn't afford that as they had so many members. My response was that lots of members meant lots of money! But not from me any longer!!:D:rotfl:
My EE menu for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion, beetrootgammon, new potatoes, carrots, cabbage, mushy peas

Maman, Fingers crossed they'll not be getting my money too much longer either. They make me laugh they really do!!
Last week our consultant was getting her numbers assessed for her commission. I had 4 text messages about going to group.

This week nothing lol0 -
Maman,
I've made the quiche (oven baked) loads of times, with a whole tub of cottage cheese, but I dont remember putting tomatoes in and have not put fromage frais in before, so I'm thinking that's the problem. It did set but there was a watery residue. As the fromage frais was not in the recipe I don't know why I put it in! Well, I do - I didnt look at the recipe
Tastes nice though.0 -
Good luck Shala Moo & anyone else off to weigh in tonight!
