Hope you are feeling better soon Counting Pennies, laughing at the child friendly meals for DH!!! :rotfl:
Your wedding sounds nice Maman with a night away! Is that when the Size 8 dress gets its outing?
A wedding fairly spurs you on BEG, I had my sisters wedding last year to aim for and it was great to be a size 12 Bridesmaid and not the 22 / 24 that I would have been had I not started SW. Most people think that's why I started SW it wasn't at all but it was a nice bonus to be a slim Bridesmaid. I cannot believe you are nearly at your 6 stone already!Where has the time gone???
Valentines Day will probably annoy me this year, just coz its on a Saturday and I’m annoyed with someone right now, if its during the week I can usually ignore it.I think me myself and I will plan on having some nice chocolate!!:happyhear and some non love related films :rotfl:
Crabapple – Sounds nasty, hope you are feeling better soon
Shala, do something with that box of chocs, still time to get it given away tell the ruddy thing to stop looking at you at least!! If anything looks at me at all in my house it gets eaten so the things just aren’t allowed in!
Well done Meg, you’ve a bit of eating up to do! What a great feeling that must be!! Did you reset or sticking?
That’s where I intend to be next December in preparation for Christmas and not through the gaining triumph I just have done!
I’m excited to hear how your date goes!
Jellybaby – An Indian Meal with wine should never be refused! :DYou can allegedly get Turkish Delight Options Hot Chocolate? You could give that a whirl for 4 syns, I’ve never seen it mind because in Northern Ireland we get nothing
Lucylastic – Oh dear me at the banana drama !:eek:Nd I thought Butterbean Butterboom was bad last week! I haven’t had a banana this year, I’m not an overly big fan.Sometimes if I’m in my mothers house I’ll swipe one to pass for a meal on the run etc but I never buy them myself. Clearly I'll never hanker after one!!
Welcome SDO, you will def not be lonely here if you can keep up with our chat lol!!
I’d like to announce its been a week since I’ve had chocolate.
Yes sorry, I just felt it was worth announcing ! :rotfl:
Shala- I dreamt about doughnuts last night, bizarre coz I wouldn’t be a fan,but wherever I was I was watching them be made.Mind you the night before I dreamt I was being attacked by my vacuum cleaner.Antibiotics is the only possible explanation! Who knows what I have to look forward to tonight! Yes dehydration Thursday is here! : ( Except I’m not dehydrating these Thursdays, I just drink all day and sod it ha ha Tea, Coffee, Juice not Vodka lol Oh btw the work mates were on bakery sausage rolls yesterday, steak pies and cream buns, I ignored them again!
If there was a 06.30 am class somewhere I would be at it, I hate evening weigh in.Once I get to target I’m going to the Saturday morning class 20 miles away once a month or so. Really hoping we both see a loss tonight!! Fingers crossed for us kiddo!!!
Mich – I’m putting it on record, I’ve never tasted Eggy Bread.Re bread in general I’ve had it once this week on Saturday and that’s it!Flip me no chocolate and hardly any bread I’ve had a great week and that better translate on these flippin scales tonight!Slimming World at target0 -

Awh Meg, there are such rogues out there!!! You have had a very lucky escape. :T He wouldn't need to encounter me right now I'm looking a candidate to take out my frustrations on.
What an idiot, I hope his next victim is as wise.
I know there are some lovely men out there and I am in a right little mood about them at the minute but my goodness at the minute they all just seem to be majorily misbehaving!!!
if you have a half normal one cling on to them for all they are worth!!! :rotfl:
Jocks non of the above clearly applies to you!! :rotfl:0 -

Had a good day yesterday
Today : Breakfast 1 Apen bar hebb almond milk heb a
1 muller mango yoghurt lite
Lunch: Salmon , lettuce tom, cucumber, wholemeal bread hebb
Salad cream 1 syn 1 laughing cow 1 syn
1 banana,
dinner, carribean curry as per sw recipe
1 rice crisps 4 syn, 1 apple
fay66 - was that an Alpen Light bar or a normal one? Also was it just 1 slice of wholemeal from 400g loaf for lunch? Assuming it was a light and only one slice from small loaf then together that is 1 HEB. However, if it was a normal Alpen bar you will need to syn the slice of bread (3 syns).
Not sure how much Speed food there is in the curry but unless there is quite a bit you may be a little light of Speed foods for the day.
WI this morning went well I lost 1lb so am now bang on target again. Would be good to get to bottom end before we start going away for weekends again (probably in a few weeks time assuming it gets a few degrees warmer!)
Had some good tasters this morning - probably ended up having about 2 syns in total. There was very little actual Free food so I was a bit disappointed with that but there was quite a bit of very low syn stuff ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 syns. I probably had about 2 syns worth so not wasted too many syns.

Was he from the UK Meg or just works here sometimes?
Just think of the 4 lbs you've lost and not the £1500 that you could have lost!!

I found this on the old thread:
GOOD MORNING QUICHE (free on original)
1 packet syn free sausages, chopped
3 eggs beaten
1 large tub very low fat cottage cheese
2 chopped tomatoes
½ lb poached mushrooms
1 med onion, finely diced
Mix all of the above together pour into flan dish.
Bake gas 5, for 30 mins or till golden
I notice that the mushrooms are poached, so maybe this gets rid of some moisture. I don't normally precook mushrooms when making the normal SW quiche. Perhaps I should not have put fromage frais in.
Anyway, what I was really looking for is a recipe for SW pancakes using porridge oats. A friend has tried it and said they were OK. I've tried the website to no avail. Will keep looking.0 -
Lucy - I found this:
- 25g oatbran
- Boiled water (or hot milk
)
- 1 whisked egg
- Optional additions
- Blueberries
- Mashed banana
- Cinnamon and raisins
- Topping ideas
- Agave, golden syrup, chocolate sauce or treacle syrup
- Ice cream
- Yoghurt
Prep:2min › Cook:5min › Ready in:7min- Pour the boiled water a little bit at a time over the oatbran, to create a porridge like texture. Add the whisked egg and whisk to a pancake consistency. Add any optional serving suggestion.
- To a lightly oiled hot frying pan, add two ice cream scoop-sized portions of the mixture.
- Cook until bubbles appear on top and the edges are a bit dry, then flip to cook the other side till golden brown. Enjoy as is or serve with your favourite topping.
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0
