B-e-g the police say because he is in Malaysia they cannot track him via computer but have taken details and will get back to me.They advised me to break all contact but I think I deserve a bit of fun, been reading up on how to scam a scammer and some of the stories are hilarious. They have asked me to inform the dating site as he is almost certainly writing to others, which I will do later. On Monday when he has run all the way to the post office believing he will get his money NOT I will put his photo, which is probably not him but his phone number is real, on facebook as a warning to others,:rotfl: hes going to get a lot of texts from my friends.

    Syn Free Magic Oat Pancakes

These Magic Oat Pancakes are Syn free on Slimming World when using your HEB allowance.

These aren't crepes, more like shortstack pancakes.

They require a little prep/standing time (a couple of hours), but if you put the Magic Porridge base in the fridge the night before it'll be ready when you are happy.gif

    Magic Porridge Base:
35g Porridge Oats (or 1 Sachet Plain Oats So Simple) (HEB)
1 Mullerlight (175g) Vanilla or Vanilla and Dark Chocolate Yogurt

Mix the two together in a bowl, cover and put in the fridge for a couple of hours (or over night).

    When prep'd...

    Oat Pancakes:
Beat 2 medium eggs (3 small) and add to Magic Porridge Base. Mix thoroughly and add a couple of tablespoons of sweetener (or to taste).

Heat a non-stick frying pan and spray with a couple squirts of Frylight (or your choice of 1 cal spray).

Pour into frying pan (you can pour into a large metal cookie cutter to make small stack pancakes).

Cook for a minute (high heat) on each side.

If you are treating yourself, drizzle with Maple Syrup @ half a Syn per level teaspoon happy.gif

    Enjoy! D%20smile.gif

Just think of the 4 lbs you've lost and not the £1500 that you could have lost!!

I was in Morrisons last night and they had Frylight on offer for £1.50 instead of £2.70 (I think). I got 2 for me and 1 for my SW friend.

Has anyone made the SW 'breakfast' quiche? I made it from memory and it turned out a bit wet. I wonder if it was the tomatoes?
I put in bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, cottage cheese and a bit of FF Fromage Frais. Tasty, but wet, not good for slicing. I think I saw it on the website but could not be bothered to negotiate to it again (i don't find the website user friendly) so I may have not rememberd the recipe corectly.

The recipe also has potatoes in it and I don't recall putting any cottage cheese or fromage frais in when I did it.

I wasn't very keen on it although DH liked it. I think I overcooked it, the recipe said 10-12 hours in the slow cooker and I did it overnight otherwise I might have switched it off earlier.

    LL:)

ETA - it did have Quark in it, mixed with the eggs.

    Lucy - I found this:

    • 25g oatbran
    • Boiled water (or hot milkicon1.png)
    • 1 whisked egg
    • Optional additions
    • Blueberries
    • Mashed banana
    • Cinnamon and raisins
    • Topping ideas
    • Agave, golden syrup, chocolate sauce or treacle syrup
    • Ice cream
    • Yoghurt
    Method
    Prep:2min › Cook:5min › Ready in:7min

    1. Pour the boiled water a little bit at a time over the oatbran, to create a porridge like texture. Add the whisked egg and whisk to a pancake consistency. Add any optional serving suggestion.
    2. To a lightly oiled hot frying pan, add two ice cream scoop-sized portions of the mixture.
    3. Cook until bubbles appear on top and the edges are a bit dry, then flip to cook the other side till golden brown. Enjoy as is or serve with your favourite topping.
    Might work.

Hi there are green beans peppers with it[

QUOTE=joedenise;67649689]fay66 - was that an Alpen Light bar or a normal one? Also was it just 1 slice of wholemeal from 400g loaf for lunch? Assuming it was a light and only one slice from small loaf then together that is 1 HEB. However, if it was a normal Alpen bar you will need to syn the slice of bread (3 syns).

Not sure how much Speed food there is in the curry but unless there is quite a bit you may be a little light of Speed foods for the day.

WI this morning went well I lost 1lb so am now bang on target again. Would be good to get to bottom end before we start going away for weekends again (probably in a few weeks time assuming it gets a few degrees warmer!)

Had some good tasters this morning - probably ended up having about 2 syns in total. There was very little actual Free food so I was a bit disappointed with that but there was quite a bit of very low syn stuff ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 syns. I probably had about 2 syns worth so not wasted too many syns.

  • Hope everyone's having a good day - thanks for the pancake recipes, I'll have to give one of them a try!

    Amazing losss Happe!

I'm thrilled with a 2lb loss today. Wasn't expecting so much so I'm really pleased. Had my first ever essp day yesterday and it was okay except I missed having a yoghurt! I had a SW aubergine, chickpea & Spinach curry for lunch with no rice and a quorn, bean & veg chilli for tea which I'd normally have with potato wedges.
