Sorry wiz I just couldn't remember off hand who it was that mentioned the Great White Bread. I might just throw caution to the wind one day and say 'sod it' I'm having eggy bread with white bread - trouble is sticking with one slice :rotfl:

It looks like white bread but it's made with more fibre than wholemeal. The colour is just to fool you. One slice with one egg plus tomatoes beans and mushrooms even a piece of bacon.. Luvly, Jubly !

Hi :) I have just read through as many pages as i can from this new year sw forum and know that you lovely people are going to provide so much inspiration and information to help make my sw journey a little bit less lonely this year.
At over 17 stone and only being 5 foot 3 I do have a long road ahead of me. I have done sw so many times before but I always found a reason to stop going and went immediately back to my old habits time and time again. This time I wont be quitting. This is a plan for life. I will be doing the extra easy days so that im not having to restrict my menu too much just yet. I have a Husband and two small children who will be eating the same main meals so extra easy is perfect for that.

To the wonderful lady who started this new thread, I read through your information about having to be committed enough to make the time to plan ahead ect and every word was relevant to me. I hope you dont mind but I have actually printed it out to keep in the kitchen. Such wise words, Im very grateful, thank you.

I weigh in on Thursday Mornings. I look forward to getting to know some of you lovely guys and girls :)

Welcome SDO and good luck with your SW journey :)

This thread is wonderful! I've just been thinking about it and I know that the online support here has really helped me. It often gives me a smile, kindness when I need it and always great ideas :D Thank you lovelies!

I caved and bought proper white bread and butter today :( The only plus is rather than buying a large loaf I bought 3 mini baguette things and hubby has eaten half of it. At least I can't keep synning for days :o

Having beans on toast for tea, then I am going to draw a line under today and get back to SW. I have done so well now is not the time to waste my hard work and give up. My bmi at my peak was 36. Now it's 26 :)
