 all and :T to losers since yesterday afternoon!!

I got a real shock tonight at weigh in -4lbs which means I am now under target and had to decide whether to put some back on or reset to 9.1/2 stone. I know why I have lost this weight, on Friday I got a message from the man I have been online with every day and sometimes twice a day since before Christmas is coming back to uk and would like to meet on Valentines day, afternoon tea with homemade creamcakes and a three course dinner by a log fire, don't think I have eaten much since Friday lol so much want it but scared. anyway Meg is putting her sensible head on and what will be will be,

I've gone under target lots of times meg, and it's a good feeling to leave group and now you can have a week of 'feeding your face' with no guilt. Whatever happens you'll regain the pounds when you have that cream tea & romantic dinner.:D Meanwhile pebbles!

wiz, the SW recipe for overnight oats uses yogurt instead of milk and saves a HEA. Unfortunately all the white breads that are HEAs are gluten free and I doubt they taste like 'real' white bread.

mildredd, how did 'meet the children' day go? Apologies in advance for being nosey.

:naughty:fay, tomato sauce with your dinner does NOT count as a third of Speed food!!
rummer, I think we all succumb to munchies sometimes. You need to plan in things that are free (or better still Speed) to snack on. I like savoury foods so beetroot, cornichons, cold meats, cold new potatoes all help me. I have been known to ping a quick JP with cottage cheese as late as 11 p.m. when I'm desperate.

lucy if you think that SW will talk about 1001 ways of making Scanbran palatable, it's no surprise they think we're going to crave bananas!

jock, if you're of reasonably average height those height/weight charts are pretty good at estimating a target weight IMO. On this one

    http://www.paulparkerpersonaltraining.co.uk/health/

I'm bang in the middle of the healthy weight for my height. When I was younger I was at the edge of healthy/underweight but I know that now I'd look scrawny.

Hope your back feels better soon crabapple and you too tie.:A

Back in a moment with my menu.

The poster will make themselves known ;)

Thank you I hope they are nearly double the WW ones. I have some love to shop vouchers left from buying the leggings last Friday so will use those in Iceland and buy the meals the ones I will like no pasta ones :)

I've heard they are generous. I think they'll have to be (maybe enough to stretch to two with veg) otherwise they'll never compete with WW. I buy WW Ocean pie for my DH so he can ping it when I'm out and they only cost £1.

Other bits of info I've heard is that we'll get a voucher at group for 2 meals for £5 (instead of £3 each). And another interesting thing is that the complete recipe will be on the back of the pack so we can replicate at home.

    My menu for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk
L: HM lentil and veg soup
D: sausages, swede & carrot mash, cabbage, onions, peas
    Syns, sausages (2), gravy

I'm counting it as a EESP day. Probably a bit of a cheat as I'm synning sausages rather than having lean meat but it's close.;)
  • Regarding the ready meals, the packaging is considerably larger than ww ones and our consultant said that one of them could be split in two for lunch or a light meal as she was pogged after eating them. The recipies are on the back and she said they would probably appear in the mag or online at some point too.

Thank you both I will most likely eat a full one for my tea :D with extra veg ;) That's good if they have the recipe on the meal it may work out cheaper making your own. I am deciding if to buy 7 meals when they are on sale and starting eating 1 a day on Thursday day of my WI and see if I lose more weight that week :D

I wont get a coupon :( because I do SW at home on my own.

Thought I would check this chart out maman. When I started SW end of April last year I was mid pointish in the clinically obese :o and now I am around mid-point in 'just' obese.:j. Yes, I know that is still pretty bad but if I hadn't started SW I would probably been off the chart totally.

Beef stew done in sc for tea with veggie rice (tonnes of veg in it)

Sorry wiz I just couldn't remember off hand who it was that mentioned the Great White Bread. I might just throw caution to the wind one day and say 'sod it' I'm having eggy bread with white bread - trouble is sticking with one slice :rotfl:

Good work, djenks, lucy and Matron.

Hope your friend is getting better, fay.

Congrats on SOW, blinkered. Thanks for keeping the chart, shala.

“And another interesting thing is that the complete recipe will be on the back of the pack so we can replicate at home.”
    Now that’s a good idea!

The Great White debate – I thought the bread was ok, if a bit “fluffy/spongy”. The rolls were horrible! I never bought either again! But then, I do like wholemeal bread. Strangely too, I never liked eggy bread until I made it with wholemeal! I guess someone has to buck the trend.

    So today –

Breakfast: hexb salty porridge made with water, splash hex !!! milk (had this late, around 10.00, because of hospital appointments, trying to pre-empt lunchtime hunger)
    Snack: 2 Werther original
Lunch: 3.00 at hospital, after appointments, BLT sandwich - and Crunchie (hoping that might be less damage than the alternative of a big slice of cake)
Dinner: herby chicken breast, foil baked with 1 tblsp white wine, leeks & bacon, potatoes, ML ff blueberry yogurt
Supper will be mini babybels and grapes (if they are still edible – I haven’t plucked up the courage to look yet)

I know this is light on fruit/veg but I’ve not been shopping yet, so relying on sad stuff lurking in fridge since before we went away.

    Good luck everyone.
