Good luck for weigh in jock.. lets hope you lose at least 0.5lb!!

I hope so as well. It was our team meeting today that involved a load of cake because someone is leaving, followed by a deep fried buffet (samosa, chips, lots of cake, cream, sandwiches, etc.)

    I had

1 Cup of Tea (Milk HEA)
    Greek Salad (Feta 1/2 HEA)
    Jaffa Orange
    Apple
    plum
    Mullerlight

So I'lll be really annoyed if I've lost no weight this week, I've been struggling with syns again a bit. So instead of snacking, I might just see what not having many does for me.

I'd be starving if that was all I'd had to eat! And you really should be having your syns - after all they are part of the plan!

    I like this a lot :T

I have similar thoughts but its generally when I am thinking about doing things like scoffing a bag of mini eggs etc I remind myself why I shouldn't :rotfl:

Bf alternates between attitudes of "why should we diet, lets just get fat and eat pizza" and "I hate myself, why have I let myself get so fat", which is exhausting, but he's gone out for a run this lunchtime so hopefully he's in a better frame of mind tonight. Will try and get caught up on everyone's news, hope you are all doing well.

The best approach imo is to focus on it being about healthy eating rather than a diet. Your bf can go out running now, but if he let himself get fat he might struggle. Apart from anything else, being overweight puts a lot of strain on the knees and things he can do easily now might not be as easy in ten years time.

SW is great in the respect that you can eat enough free food to satisfy your appetite, so it's particularly good for men - tell him he can eat a plateful of meat, a 6 egg omelette, a pile of SW chips. It's not about being hungry, it's about making healthy choices.

I've heard about you Scots and the legendary deep fried Mars bars, but deep fried cake? :rotfl:

Well done for resisting all the temptation and making sensible choices. :T

I like this a lot too and I'm looking forward to feeling the same way again myself. :j

  • Afternoon all,

Hope everyone's keeping warm, it's hailing down here, my dog wasn't impressed!

:T:T:T to everyone who had a loss. Keep at it if [like me], you've stayed the same or had a little gain, tomorrow's another day.

I've STS again this week, can't seem to get back in the groove, I need to give myself another good talking to. Can I borrow the 'kick up the backside' that was a couple of pages back? Ta.

I might take up crochet or cross stitch again, I used to do some when the DS's were young, if I have to keep my work clean, I shouldn't eat while I'm sewing!! This seems a good plan to me! XX

:A:A:A Thanks again to Shala for doing the chart, I'd not be able to keep track at all, you are a star! XX

Its a 2lbs loss for me this week Shala, thanks.:)

Well done everyone, some great losses again this week.

Went to my group this morning, it's still busy but much quieter than a couple of weeks ago!!

Love hearing about people being able to fit into smaller size clothes and feeling more comfortable in different things. I only wear skirts at the moment because I'm small (in height 5ft-0), with short legs, so I won't wear leggings or trousers at the moment, so that's one of my goals to aim for!!
I have had a few people commenting on my weight loss this week, which was really nice!

Evening everyone! Back from work. This morning went quickly, this afternoon was dragging rather :(

I've been given a few little jobs and one big project to work on so won't have to worry about keeping myself busy for the next few months! In some strange ways it felt like I had never been away.

One plus of going back to work - I've eaten really SW today :D Only had the snacks and food I had taken with me and didn't go out to buy stuff cos I was good :). I did buy a coffee on the way in but it was an americano not the latte I would have bought before.

Still got a few syns left so I can have butter on my pasta with my dinner and a glass of vimto to wash it all down.

    Happy Birthday b_e_g

Was back in work all weekend after 2 lazy weeks off.. A shock to the system!

Still not cracked the evening nibbles.. Will get there one day :p

Used a Hairy Dieters Lamb Saag fakeaway for tea, 4.5 syns.. Stretched it a bit further for two good portions with tom puree and water.. Onion, peppers and spinach added too.. http://instagram.com/p/ym7B1fGjVn/

Hoping to keep to SP until WI Thurs, well that's the plan :D
