  • I'll dash in quickly as I have just read the posts update but there was so many to catch up on I cannot remember what I was going to say:rotfl:

Well done to all you losers and shiney receivers :T. Hang on in there anyone STS or gaining - keep at it - it does shift eventually. :D

I ended up in Costa yesterday afternoon and had quite a big americano and shared a slice (smaller half) of Coffee and Walnut cake. Then got back to Mums and had one and half M&S Toffee Caramel Meringues. Then at home we had a gnt apperitif followed by Keema Curry Pie (yes my friends SW recipe :p) and then DH made a chocolate fat-less sponge cake which had a thin layer of Bailey Extra Thick cream inside and a little sprinkle of brandy and choc shot, served with a few rasps, cherries and strawberry and some WW thick cream on the side. Had lager with mains (gone off wine - shocking I know) and then back on the g&ts. Oh nearly forgot, I took two fingers and a cuppa to bed to watch tv then ended up eating both fingers  A big line has been drawn and I am back on it today.

    Breakfast - fruit

Lunch - Pasta n Sauce with loads of extra veggies then bowl of mixed fruit for afters.

    Dinner - to be arranged

Good luck jock for tonight - hope you manage to shift at least 0.5lb.

Just a little note before I go - the SW Keema Curry Pie was very tasty, wouldn't have automatically assumed it was a SW meal and the recipe amounts made 4 very generous portions. We seemed to have loads on our plates (3 of us) and the leftovers will divide into another 2 which are now in the freezer.

  • Hellooooo!!!

Haven't been online since 25th :eek: And i simply dont feel up to reading 19 pages catch up. So sorry!! Been quite poorly again, and in hospital. But i'm on the mend now! Managed to lose -1lb last week Shala if its not too late to add. But a +2lb for this week please Shala :o:eek: which is basically down to people buying me get well chocolates and being bedbound so no exercise done at all! Class isn't till tonight but I won't be going so got weighed at hospital before I left, hence I know my weight.

Will get back on plan tomorrow (need to do a online shop, house is full of child friendly meals that DH can make while i'm unwell).

Hope everyone is well. I will try and catch up at some point.

    CP xx

So sorry to hear you've been poorly in hospital, hope that you're on the mend now. Stay warm!:grouphug: [I still think this hug smilie is a little ODD] XX

So just wondering out loud here, I'll not be doing anything for Valentines day so the next thing for me will be Pancake Day and I am properly looking forward to it.

I didn't have any last year, so I def am this year, not a blow out but a little! A controlled amount lol

Will you all be on the chocolates, nice meals and wines for valentines & having pancakes?

Not sure about the pancakes. I like them but can manage without. If family invite themselves (has been known!) then I'll make them and have one or two otherwise won't bother.

For Valentines, we're going to a wedding the next day and staying over on the Sunday. So on 14th we'll have a nice meal at home. The last couple of years I've bought M&S deal and added extra veg! :rotfl:

I will probably pass on the pancakes lantanna but DH is a big fan of them so he will probably have a couple.

As for Valentines Day - we don't normally do anything specific - but I think a little treat will be in order. We got a little Extra Special beef joint whoopsied in A$da yesterday so we might get that out and it will cut into a couple of really nice thick steaks that would be nice and could keep the meal relatively SW friendly.

That's a thought maman - M&S will probably have some deal on. ;)

What a lovely way to celebrate beanie.

Talking of weddings maman - we have received a Save the Date card yesterday for a wedding in August - something to focus on. We were at the groom-to-be brother's wedding August last year and it is being held at the same venue. Last time I was looking at 24's - wonder what I will be shopping for this year ;) :rotfl:

DH is making tea - SW chips, fried egg, baked bean and tons of mushrooms (they looked as though they were getting passed their best) oh and bacon. Really ready for it now - can smell the bacon being cooked in oven - nom nom :D

Would have liked to have got my 6st shiney next Monday but I think I may have scuppered my chances with yesterday's over indulgences - never mind - there will be other weeks. :D

Wow b_e_g - sounds like you have had lovely birthday celebrations!

Congrats to all the losers :D

Hugs CP, glad you are out of hospital and hope you are on the mend.

I'm broken :( Back went out today, muscle spasms which are continuting. I'm walking bow backed like an ancient person and have been in tears this evening because I couldn't pick up my little boy when he was upset :(:(

Declaring a STS for the challenge Shala as I can barely walk and have had to miss WI.

  • Shala can you do -2lbs off for me, not sure how I managed that.

Love pancakes, but I'm on my own this year as family are away so there is almost no chance I'll remember its pancake day or have the ingredients

Had a lovely day Crabapple thank you. Your back problems sound really nasty. Is it just something that will sort itself or will you need medication/treatment. Typical of it to happen now just as you are getting back to work. Hope it feels easier soon.
