  • Well just had a massive clearout of XL clothes, got rid of two bin bags full. Tried on everything I owned, some of the L stuff still fits OK, some of it was baggy and went. Got a few bits in M

Nothing beats a good sort out jock :rotfl: I have managed to get rid of a few bits of my better stuff/little worn on fleabay. I haven't made a fortune but it will just put a few pennies in the pot for when I need new stuff.

Must give the vanilla quark a try shala. Can I ask - is it syn free? If its lovely it will probably cost syns. :D

BEG - The one I had was 2 syns per 100g.. so if you wanted to have the free one and add vanilla essence it would save a few syns.

I had one of these for xmas http://www.lakeland.co.uk/19455/Zoku-Ice-Cream-Maker-Purple so I made a bit of icecream with it, it really satisfied my need for something sweet.

I prefer quark now to yogurt - it's the texture, I prefer something a bit more set, not sure whether i'd be better trying a greek yogurt - anyone recommend a free one that's a bit more like the texture of quark?

Will look out for the vanilla when we are at Sainsbobs next Friday (probably forget by then :o). I suppose the plain one could be used for either sweet or savoury stuff and just sweeten or flavour as needed.

The little gadget from lakeland looks a natty little thing but we are totally out of cupboard space with all of DH's gadgets so I am not going to show him. Having said that I did buy him one of the veggie spiralizer things (just a cheapo one) but saving it to go for his birthday. If I end up with anything household related for my birthday mind you - there will be all out war :D.

Your legs are that good then eh beanie :D Mine are nowhere near that good as that but sometimes I just think sod it, if people don't like the look of them, well they do have to look at them.

Need some bread tomorrow wiz so will look out for the Great White. I just put the wholemeal in each week as I dont like spending too long in the bread/bakery aisle. Mum asked for some hot cross buns in her shopping this week so I got some Kingsmill ones and each time she and DH have had one, I can smell the spice in them and they look gorgeous but so far I have shown restraint. :p I love hot cross buns with cheese in :rotfl::rotfl:

Right I'm off to make a hot choccie to take up to bed whilst I was Tango in Halifax.

  • STS please Shala

Happy enough with that after the pigging out at the SPA on Thursday. I've been really sick since Friday too and unable to exercise so I was really expecting a gain. Have to be really disciplined now because I have a little break booked for a couple of weeks time where I know I'll be eating very naughty stuff :D

I found a receipe for breakfast biscuits on another site, so I made them today to bring to work in the morning, and have SP soup for lunch, but no idea what's for dinner yet.

Hope all goes well at work crabapple. It's a big change in routine for you but that's all that it is. You can do it!!!

wiz, do you just make one portion of soup at a time? I make a huge batch in the SC and portion it up just for my lunches as DH doesn't like soup. Reason I was asking is that I've stopped putting potatoes in mine so If I want to have it on a EESP day (or EESP meal) then I can. Perhaps add carrots instead? You can always add potatoes but it's harder to fish them out!;)

Didn't get home until almost 8 p.m. this evening so cheated a bit. We had the HB braised steak with oven chips, broccoli and mushrooms. My reasoning was no Crunchie at the football equated to the oven chips.;)
