I know Maman, I do still hanker after a curry, that’s a curry not a banana:eek: but every time I have one I feel absolutely rubbish after it and don’t think its worth it. I’ve advanced on to Indian now it doesn’t have the same effect on me and I don’t feel as awful and bloated after it. I’m sure I’ll have to have another one at some stage just to make my mind up though lol.
Ketchup & Gravy, yuck I know there was a lot of frys and processed meats going on with them wasn’t there. I love seeing what other people eat always an eyeopener!
Happy Birthday Blue Eyed Girl _party_
Rummer – Well done, getting your head in gear is most of the battle.
Fantastic Beanielou, now share your secret please?
Shala you enjoy those new clothes and boots!
I’m also on an economy drive this month Mildredd. After a blow out in Boots on Saturday I would need too.
For me it takes about 1 stone & a half to go down a dress size. I’ve lost 6.7 stone and only went from a 2o to a 12 on top and a 10 on the bottom. I was anything fitted though in a 20 when I began so who knows what size I really was. 14’s still make an appearance in some coats and dresses. I am medium boned I would say. I’ve seen people in mags and stuff who have lost less weight than me and claim to have lost an absurd amount of dress sizes and are all size 8’s / 6’s etc lol. I don’t care I like being me. :T
I’m counting down the days til chocolate Thursday happens. No crisps or takeaways over the weekend either I’d like to report.
If someone could come and clear my wardrobe out I’d be happy to watch!
I've had my oats, yogurt and blueberries for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and pork chop with veg for dinner

I know how you feel SeaBee, I've had similar results since the start of the year. Keep going, it will work but sometimes the body decides to hang on to the weight for reasons of its own.
Keep referring to your books to make sure you're not overdoing healthy extras or syns and fill up on super free foods rather than anything else.
Fay66 - you shouldn't feel hungry with SW so you're not eating enough. It's hard when you first start and it really helps to plan ahead and make sure you've got extra super free food to fill up with and as snacks.
Also, use your syns. You can have up to 15 a day so you don't have to feel deprived of the occasional treat.
:rotfl: haha just realised I've quoted you above, I was thinking it was 2 different people!
I always believed that breakfast was important, but for the last few weeks I haven't been eating it. DH and I take it in turns to make a cup of tea in the morning then we laze in bed reading or surfing the net. It's cold here in the mornings and it gives the caravan chance to warm up before we get dressed!
Anyway, on Mondays DH plays golf and has to get up early, so he brings me my breakfast in bed (porridge) before he goes and I've noticed that I'm hungry again by mid morning. It's not lunchtime yet and I had to eat a banana as I was so hungry.
Does that happen to anyone else?

Happy Birthday beg, hope you're having a lovely day..I love seeing what other people eat always an eyeopener!
Me too! I love looking at what other people have in their trolleys and always feel smug that mine looks like the Harvest Festival!!:D
I always have breakfast lois. Most days it's something substantial and that sees me through to lunchtime easily. On the days I have cereal then I do feel hungry so we choose that when we're going out to lunch.
Mondays have been strange for us lately as DH has been going out to meetings just when we'd normally be eating and I can't do dinner later as I'm out at my dance class. So we've been having a large, late lunch and then a snack later if needed.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: savoury mince (with onions, mushrooms, carrots), new potatoes, cabbage and maybe cauli.potato skins? soup? depends how I feel later.
Syns: scrape of spread0 -

Hi all
I've been awol for 2 weeks and am sneaking back in to report +3lbs. I've not been focussed for the last 2 weeks, tbh I've gone completely off the rails and I'm surprised it's not more. I have had a birthday in that time, complete with a really boozy party (and subsequent hangover) and a lovely day out with not one but two hugely sinful meals. Plus rubbish meal choices, cake, chocolate and all the rest.
I dragged myself round the cancer research 10k in London yesterday and it was hard, very hard. I found myself reflecting on how much easier life would be if I lost the weight and so I have a new sort of resolve today. That said, I have just had a very unhealthy lunch, but I'll make an effort to go to the supermarket tonight and get some stuff in for a healthy lunch for the rest of the week. Bf alternates between attitudes of "why should we diet, lets just get fat and eat pizza" and "I hate myself, why have I let myself get so fat", which is exhausting, but he's gone out for a run this lunchtime so hopefully he's in a better frame of mind tonight. Will try and get caught up on everyone's news, hope you are all doing well.

I'd count it as free although a bit of fat may have crept in somewhere it won't be worth worrying about. I like to make soup in advance (think it tastes better after marinating) and sometimes fat floats to the top and I spoon it out.
treeny, I've had that discussion with myself. I think there are loads of people out there who tell themselves that being fat is unavoidable (age, thyroid, pregnancy, can't exercise......excuses are endless) so they might as well give in and enjoy it. I hated being fat, there wasn't a day that passed that I didn't think about it. Now there's not a day that goes by that I don't feel happy that I did something about it.:D0
