Happy Birthday to those with Birthdays x
Pinch punch first of the month.
February I've decided will be my month to shift a chunk of weight again.
No more excuses no more happy maintaining head down back in the gym and weight getting shifted now.
Also going to be my month of saving my bum off and stopping the frivolous spends on none essentials

It's looking like a cold one out today :( will hopefully get a walk in later with mini and the boy and his offspring as today's the day were mixing respective offspring with each other... I may need to seek refuge in choc later depending on how today goes

Wi on Monday half expecting a gain although I've been semi well behaved will just have to wait and see I guess

Beg I'm with you on the eggy bread - wholemeal doesn't do it for me - I may have tried it and ended up with raw egg :/

    Morning all

Hope everyone is warm and well.

Some great losses going on - well done everyone and hello to the newbies.

Had a busy day yesterday and had a bit of a clearout in DS1 room and also the dinning room cupboard. DS2 nursrey is doing a raffle to raise money for their trip in may so I raked a few things out for that.

I am looking forward to when I can do a wardrobe overhaul. I have loads of clothes in smaller sizes in sucky bags up in the attic, so hopefully should not be that expensive when I start going down. At present I am an 18 so my aim is to get comfortable in 16's first. Not sure if I will ever get into the size 10's though!!

Off to do the food shopping today so have done a plan and have got a list and nothing else will go in the basket. I would like a good loss this week as I am 1.5lbs of my 1/2 stone award (first one since joining my group) and am buying a 12 week coutdown so that will be me paid up til nearly end of April. Should see me past all the Easter treats!!

I know this will vary for different people however, roughly how much weight did you lose before dropping a dress size? I'm currently a 14 and my initial aim is to get to a 12 but I'm trying to realistically think how long it will take.

Welcome to our newbies to the thread. Clowe you have had great advice from LL and BEG and I'll give you exactly the same advice. Draw a line under it and jump over it and get back on plan. A couple of days on EESP would give your weight loss a boost or just continue with EE but give yourself more Speed foods and less potatoes/rice/pasta (which is what I would do as I need some carbs with my dinner).

Had a good time at the dinner/dance last night but far too many wine syns! Will need to cut back the rest of the week to make up for it. The dinner itself wasn't too synful (apart from the dessert!) probably about 6 syns for the dessert. Will count a couple of syns for the starter (carrot & corriander soup) and a couple for the main (roast chicken breast, wrapped in lean bacon, green beans & mushrooms (seemed a weird combination to me but actually tasted quite good) and I only had one potato and no gravy.

Today will be a good EE day with few syns:

    B - SW fry up
    L - ham salad sandwich
D - gammon cooked in the slow cooker with onions, carrots, celery and served with potatoes (don't like them cooked in SC); mashed swede, cabbage. Will use the stock to make a soup for tomorrow's lunch.

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - don't know yet but won't have many.

I've always found that 1 stone = 1 dress size.
