I have picked up some thermal tights this morning from Lidl (shared with friend as they were 2 for £5). I think they are 60 den and I got them to use under leggings/jeans for a bit of added warmth so save me wearing socks. I have trouble with the tops of socks digging into legs and the 'no dig in' variety I have tried all keep coming down. So when I go out later I am going to give them a go.
Ds-i-l contacted DH this morning to ask him if I would like a hairdressing voucher for b'day - he has told her that it would be lovely or suggested a voucher to be used on clothes as I keep looking a stuff - do I:rotfl:
Got rid of a couple of bits of clothes on fleabay last week so will try to put the funds to one side to be spent maybe in the spring to buy a new pieces.

I have real problems with my legs tweets - I always say they are as thick at the ankle as they are at the thigh - well maybe not quite but you get the idea. Got problems with one leg in particular that does swell more than the other and doesn't take much tightness of things to start and dig in. I cannot get away with boots and have trouble with shoes that are too closed in - not good in this weather. Did manage to pick up some sturdy Clarks shoes last year that are quite good so that is what I am wearing just now.

Sorry about your legs b_e_g I know what you mean. I am just glad my legs are ok.
I struggle with shoes having wide high instep ugly feet so I am either wearing Emu boots or my CrocsBut snow I got my snowboots from cotton traders and need a smaller size in those they that wide :T and I have a pair shoes hotter ones I wear sometimes

I am so determined to lose the weight this time and I refuse to give in!
This weekend has been a big test and so far I have done really well. I resisted a bacon roll this morning and instead had my wholemeal toast with bacon. Then we went to visit family who had made a snack of roast potatoes and sausages with white buttered rolls followed by cake and biscuits and I resisted it all :j I have also switched my usual weekend food and drink for healthier alternatives so I am hoping for a loss this week too.
Just planning my weekly food shop and getting excited about all the different things I can tryTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Snack. Alpen light bar 3 Syns
Dinner. Steak and dumplings (2 ) = 6 Syns ??? Clementine x2
Supper. Milky coffee
A milk. B bread
15 Syns

Enjoyed reading about the clothes shopping! When I started my journey I was size 22 (or a badly fitted 20) so I only shopped online for clothes. Now I am down to a 16 I am enjoying clothes again. So excited to get to size 14 that is my next aim but quite a while to go. Strange at my heaviest I think I had denial about the weight on me where now I have lost over 4.5 stones I feel the lumps and bumps much more and they bother me - still another 3 stone at least to go! xx0 -

I joined slimming world again in the new year and have lost 7 1\2 labs so far but yesterday was my birthday and I just ate and drank what I wanted. the problem is that this has carried on today. I have had a McDonald's for lunch and Chinese for dinner!!!!
Need help to get back on track before weigh in on Wednesday evening!!0 -
Still sticking to the green plan for this week, fingers crossed it's working as on my scales I've lost a couple of pounds.
Yesterday
B: Raisin wheats and skim milk, banana
L: 2 onion bhajis 11, mango chutney 2, lettuce, onion, cucumber, vegetable curry 9, rice (lovely lunch out with my husband so was worth going over)
T: Wholemeal roll, 2 eggs, beans, flora light 0.5, muller light
Snacks: Snackajacks 4.5
Total syns: 28 (only had 5 syns the day before)
Today
B: Raisin wheats & skim milk, banana
L: Jacket potato, houmous 4, beans, spring onions, worcester sauce
T: Pasta, pasta bake sauce 8.5, cheddar cheese, lettuce, mange tout, spring onions, balsamic vinegar, muller light, apple
Snacks: 2 hifi bars, grapes, mug shot noodles
Total syns 12.50 -

You've made the first step by coming here and asking for help, now you need to remind yourself why you started slimming world, how well you've done already and focus on getting back on plan.
It's ok to bend the rules for special occasions - happy birthday by the way - the trick is knowing when to start following them again and you know the time is now.
You won't have done too much damage, you might be lucky and stay the same at weigh in on Monday, but if you want to try to reverse the damage you could stick rigidly to the EESP plan for the next few days and keep your syns to between 5 and 10 a day.
You can do this!

Welcome clowe :wave:. Draw a line under it all and start again tomorrow and hopefully getting a couple of days on plan will do a bit of damage limitation. I think it is only fair that we have what we want on our birthdays, its just getting back on track that's the hard bit.Just for the record it's mine on Monday
